A Fearless Christmas (Program and Message)

Steve Smith :: Creekside Church :: Sunday, December 20, 2020 “An angel of the Lord appeared to him... saying, ‘Joseph... do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife...’” (Matthew 1:20); “The angel said to her, ‘Do not be afraid, Mary...’” (Luke 1:30); “...(The shepherds) were terribly frightened. But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid...’”(Luke 2:10). For many, 2020 has been a year of fear. The fears that Mary, Joseph and the shepherds had may be different than ours, but we have the same reason and reassurance not to be afraid: Our Savior, which is Christ the Lord. Pastor Steve’s message explores the cause and cure for our fear, and reminds us that a fearless Christmas is only possible through faith in Christ.
