Jesus Is - The Resurrection and the Life
Jesus claimed to be the source of resurrection and eternal life. The question He asked Martha is the question we must answer... "Do you believe this?"

Who did John the Baptist say Jesus was?
By aligning Himself with the "I Am" of Exodus, Jesus explicitly claims divinity, challenging the contemporary understanding of God and demanding a reevaluation of His Identity and mission.
In the Gospel of John Jesus makes many statements about who He is. The question is "who do you say He is?"
We're teaching on the power and purpose of sex as we close our series Healthy Hearts, Healthy Marriages.
If you’re single you shouldn’t look to marriage as your ultimate home. If you’re married you shouldn’t look to your marriage as your ultimate home. Whether you’re single or married your ultimate home should be in Jesus.
God created both male and female in His image and His design was perfect. When we are able to embrace one another's unique design, and gifts, then our marriages become a display of the goodness of God to the world around us.
We were created to be fully known by God and one another. Don't buy the lie that a pretty facade is better than an ugly truth.
Second to our relationship with God is our relationship with our spouse. It must take priority over parenting, career, hobbies, etc... but if our marriages are going to thrive we have to have a common mission. What is the mission of your marriage?
When it comes to relationships many of us let our feelings dictate our actions. If there aren’t any “feelings” of love towards our spouse, or friends, we act upon that feeling and choose to stay disconnected from them. What if God related to us this way? What if He only served, or loved us, when we were attractive to Him? Thankfully this is not the truth.
If we're honest... most of us are self-centered. It is within our nature to make things all about us. If we're ever going to fix this then we need to have a power source outside of ourselves.
What is marriage, and what is its purpose? We're going to begin our brand new series by looking at what the Bible defines as marriage and its purpose.
We conclude our series on the Return of the King by looking at the first coming of Christ and the second yet to come.
Peter gives one final charge to the people of God as they await the return of the King. He reminds them all to stay faithful and not lose heart, because one day the story does end, Jesus does return, justice will be delivered, and those who know Him will be caught up in glory for eternity.
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” - Matthew 7:21 (ESV) This is rightfully one of the weightiest verses in all of scripture and it has caused many debates in the church on topics such as eternal security vs conditional security. Can we know with certainty that we are saved and when Jesus returns we will spend eternity with Him?
In the last days Peter reminds the Church that there will be people who are going to try and lead us astray from the truth. These lies will not always be obvious but subtle distortions of the truth. As followers of Christ we need to be on guard and equip ourselves with the truth.
Will you ground yourself in the Word of God as you wait for the return of the King?
Have you ever been on the road and your gas light came on but there wasn't a gas station anywhere close? If you’ve ever experienced that then you know it is one of the worst feelings in the world. When it comes to following Jesus how would you like to finish the race? On fumes or filled up? Better yet, how will the master find you on his return? Clutching on to your salvation or giving it away to every person you encounter?
If you knew Jesus was coming back in 1 to 5 years what would you change? If you knew with certainty that Jesus was coming back in 1000 years would you still believe those changes were worth it?
Jesus promised that He would return, and today is one day closer. As we wait on the return of the King what sort of lives should we live? How do we prepare for His arrival?
God has a transformation story written for each of us, but in order to see that transformation take place, we have to allow a spiritual metamorphosis to take place. For some of us, surrender to that process comes fairly easy, but for some, we have to look a little like caterpillar soup before we surrender to the beauty of God’s plan.
All of us go through conflict in our lives. It's easy to act out of anger in certain situations, or to hold on to bitterness in our hearts towards those who've wronged us. As followers of Jesus our aim is to become more like Him, so what does God say about how we are to handle conflict?
People want their lives to have value and a sense of meaning. To know that they're successful and leaving behind a legacy, but what does true success look like? There is a big difference between what the world defines as success and what God defines as success.
What are you most desperate for, and what would it take for you to truly be satisfied?
God disciplines those He loves. That statement might sound harsh depending on your view of discipline. For some of us that word triggers certain emotions and memories, maybe bad memories of abuse or pain. The good news is that God is not like us. He is perfect and good. His discipline is not punishment and it's always for our good.
Thomas Merton once said "The gates of heaven are everywhere if we have eyes to see." May we cultivate a spirit of awareness, so we don't miss the moments when God reveals Himself to us.
Today we celebrate 4 years of ministry as Creekside Church! We share how God has moved since we launched, who we are as a church, and where we believe God is taking us.
We want to see revival break out in our church but if we're honest sometimes the Church can feel like a desert with no wells. It's time to start cultivating what God has already poured out on us through the gospel and His Spirit. It's time to break cycles, build, wells, and be with God!
Esau’s choice serves as a warning against choosing your greatest desires over your deepest desires. We all face this temptation in our lives, so how do we combat this?
Nothing happens by chance or coincidence. God isn’t passively sitting back and letting random things happen. He is actively working at all times before, during, after, in front of and behind the scenes. He is doing all of this to bring about His plans and His purposes in this world! Where in your life do you need His guidance, and will you surrender to His will for your life?
