Hello, hello, my creative friends.

Hello, hello, my creative friends. It's so good to be with you today. As you guys know, I've had a crazy and fun summer. So we just got back from vacation in the Tennessee mountains and it was a blast. It was every bit peaceful as it was physically exhausting, right? Because we did a lot of hiking and we did a lot of fun stuff like that. So yeah, I'm coming back and I'm just like on top of the world and completely exhausted.

So we had to drive home last night through that hurricane, Hurricane Debbie. And we got home about 8 p.m. And today's just been rainy and stormy all day. So yeah, it's nice to be home. It's nice to be done driving and that. And yeah, I'm just ready to get back to real life. But we were driving today and we were going to pick up a couple of of our animals. Our dogs came with us, but the hedgehog went to a friend's house who has another

hedgehog and the bunny went to another friend's house. So we're driving around, we're picking up animals. And I had a really fun conversation with my daughter. So I wanted to share that with you today and relate it to our lives as adults and what we go through and how to look at your circumstances, most importantly, your trials through a different lens. So with that in mind, let's go ahead and roll the credits and we will get started.

Hey friend, welcome to Deep Healing for Creative Entrepreneurs. My name is Aubrey Barr and I am a subconscious release technique practitioner and photography business owner. I know you are sick of ending your day feeling overwhelmed and exhausted and you are seeking a solution to help you feel creatively inspired and actively engaged in your business as well as personal life.

In this podcast, we are going to dig into any limiting beliefs or subconscious programs that are keeping you in a space filled with anxiety and stress. This work is not a temporary solution for your life. This is a complete transformation. So grab your coffee or tea and let's start you on the road to healing. And let me just say, you can do this. You are worth it. And you are meant to thrive in life and business. So let's dig in. Music.

A Lesson from Ziplining

So here's what happened. We were driving along the road, you know, being very careful. There was a lot of areas that were super flooded, and unfortunately, our friend's house is about an hour away from ours. So as we were driving, we passed by this place where my daughter has gone ziplining, and it's a really cool place, and we've had a lot of good memories there.

I think we've been there maybe four or five times, but the last time she went, she went with her hockey team and as she was going down one of the zip lines, there was kind of a whiplash that happened at the end where she had so much speed. She picked up that when the stopper, when she came up to the stopper, she kind of swung back and forth and she hit her head on this metal piece that was holding up the zip line.

And so she immediately got a goose ache, Right. Like right away, she had a couple of tears. I wouldn't say she was losing it, but she definitely felt that. And the issue was, even though I was right there, she couldn't get down. There was no way to get down from there. She was about 20 feet in the air. And in order to get down, she had to finish the last four zip lines and go down the ladder. her.

Now, if she was bleeding or, you know, not unable to proceed, we obviously would have called over one of the workers and found a different way. But, you know, I said, hey, you know, you've got to finish this. You've got to finish this. You're almost there. You can do it, you know, and all of the things. And I could tell she was feeling it, but she put on her, you know, power through face race. And she continued on and she finished.

So the reason why I mentioned this is because we were driving by this place and I said to her, I said, oh my gosh, we're coming up with the back end of this. And I wasn't expecting it because I'm not good at directions. And we came from a different way. I was like, oh, look, there it is. I said, do you remember? And she said, yeah, I don't think I'm going to go there again. I said, well, I think your hockey team's going to go again this year. You don't want to go.

And she said, I didn't have a good experience. And I found this a really beautiful and amazing time to have a talk with a 12-year-old about how our mind will deceive us, right? And I said to her, I said, Aspen, I'm going to talk to you about this. And I know that you're 12 and most 12-year-olds probably don't understand this, but I'm going to speak to you like I would one of my clients.

I said, when you have these experiences that suck and leave you sometimes physically in pain, sometimes it's emotionally hurtful, right? And it can be also very devastating without causing that physical pain.

Emotionally, it could really hurt you. when you allow for your mind to make you believe that every time you go to do that you're going to have the same outcome you're going to be in a situation where you get hurt again you're going to be upset and stuck you know on this rope when really you just want to get down right when you have those experiences and you allow your brain to make you think that is how it's going to happen And every time you do it, you are allowing your subconscious to win.

And the reason why I say you're allowing it to win, because the thought that it's putting in your head about how this is going to happen every time is a straight up lie. And you can look at your past experiences and you could say, wait a second, that never happened to me. It only happened this one time. I spent all these hours out there and there was just this one five minute segment

that I didn't like. Like, why allow yourself to lead with that fear and take you away from something that you seriously enjoyed? And this is very difficult. I'm not trying to make it small, right? I'm not trying to invalidate any feelings here. Like, let's work through the feelings. You can do that too. You can process them. You can feel them. But understand when your brain is trying to use the way you felt to cause further issues because it just wants to keep you safe, right?

Every time you go out there and you do the course and nothing bad happens and you just have fun, you're proving that, yes, this can be fun. This can be safe. This can be a great time. And then you go out there one time and it's not fun.

Overcoming Negative Experiences

And then your brain will hold onto that. I always say that the bad experiences, your subconscious is gonna hold onto those like glue.

Whereas the good experiences it's going to hold on to that with scotch tape right where you can easily peel it away and forget about it and the reason being is because it's trying to keep you safe and so there's more weight around those experiences where something bad happened where you didn't feel good where you got hurt and as I talked to her about this I explained to her I tell this to adults so I'm not expecting you to fully get it but what I want you to do is say,

you know what, it's okay that I didn't have a great time, but that doesn't mean that every time I go out there, that same situation is going to happen, right? You have to be able to question your subconscious when you need to and say, yeah, I know you feel that way. I know you feel like you're going to get hurt. But in my experience, a lot of times I didn't get hurt, right? And just lean into that, wait, maybe there's a little bit of hope here.

Maybe there's a little bit more positive things that happen. And so if you're an adult listening to this, which I assume everybody is, you can absolutely use this in your life.

The Path to Success

Let me explain another thing. When you hear people that are wildly successful, they did not happen into success. They did not wake up and all of a sudden they had all the things they dreamt of. They put it forward. They manifested it. Bam. Next thing they know, they've got this rocking business. They live in the house that they wanted to from childhood, right? They have the car that they want. Like those things don't happen by accident.

The only way those happen is that when you get knocked down, you get back up. You don't just get back up because you hide your feelings or because you refuse to feel them. You get back up because you process those emotions and then you allow yourself to try Try again despite the fear, despite the frustration, despite being angry that you feel like you failed. Now, you may have experienced this in your own lives. Most of us have.

And sometimes it's fairly obvious to see that we are, in fact, self-sabotaging through these feelings, through allowing our subconscious to take the driver's seat. And that honestly is never a winning strategy because it is always based off of fear. As I said, none of your good memories are being held onto that tightly. We have to remind ourselves of the good times. We have to remind ourselves to be grateful or to be positive or to be hopeful for things.

Whereas we do not need to remind ourselves of the bad things. Our subconscious is like, hey, remember this one time? And we're always like, yeah, I remember that. So just allow yourself to question when those situations come up, because I promise you, your thoughts are not truthful. And I know that sounds bad. They are based on your experiences and how you felt in that time and your perception, right? Because you're going to have a different perception than anybody else out there.

You are unique in that way. I can promise you that. So questioning those subconscious thoughts that come up is going to allow you to be in a healing space, to be able to overcome any traumas you've had in the past, any experiences that left you wounded or feeling less than. That's how you're going to be able to harness that healing and move forward.

Understanding Your Subconscious Mind

This is also one of the biggest signs of emotional intelligence that I see in my clients. If I have somebody on a private call with me and they can already pick up on this understanding about their subconscious mind and how it is not always truthful, in fact, most of the time it's not, they have the best results because they're already there. They are already doing that inner work. They're already showing up and saying, you know what?

You're wrong. I can do this. Just because I didn't do it last time doesn't mean that I won't do it this time. And understand this, friends, this is not an Aubrey-ism, okay? This is not something I made up. I am not the founder of this idea. For those of you that don't know Joe Dispenza, he has a lot of studies that back up this about the subconscious mind. And there's plenty other people out there that have run studies on this as well. Your subconscious will lie to you to keep you safe.

The faster you understand that and the more fully you embody that concept. You're going to be on your way to really healing all these emotions. So I commend you if you're there. If you're there and you still feel like you can't quite pinpoint what those stories are, that's what I do. I can help you pinpoint those stories so that you have a better understanding of what is really going on in your subconscious. Because the other thing you need to remember is that as a baby,

you didn't have a a subconscious and unconscious mind. They were all together. And so those lessons that you learned as a small, small baby that you could not process, those were the building blocks for how you are today. And so whatever your perception was of those experiences as a young, helpless child show up in your life today as an adult that actually has ability to work through these problems, but don't quite understand where they're coming from, that's what I can help you with.

So if that's you, you know you have issues with self-sabotage, you know you feel unmotivated or uninspired, or you keep coming up with the same roadblocks, but you can't quite figure out what those stories are, let me help you with that. I can absolutely take you on as a private client.

Testimonial and Client Experiences

I have two spots available right now for that, and I'm happy to help people that are absolutely ready to move on this path. I had an amazing new client this past, I'd say six weeks. Megan found me on Instagram. She read my Instagram stories and literally within finding me in the next hour, she bought a four-pack of sessions with me without ever talking to me. And she reached out to me. We did these four sessions. She had amazing things to say about me.

And then towards the end of it, she asked if she can continue on as a yearly client. So I went I went ahead and set her up with that and she sent me this testimonial and I wanted to share that with you guys today. It says, working with Aubrey for four SRT sessions has been an incredibly transformative experience. From the very first session, Aubrey created such a warm and comforting environment that allowed me to share my deepest thoughts and feelings vulnerably.

She made me feel truly seen, heard, and validated in every moment. Aubrey's compassionate presence and attentive listening provided me with a safe space where I could release my emotions freely. After each session, I felt an immediate sense of release and relief, leaving me feeling lighter and more relaxed. I found myself looking forward to every session with Aubrey knowing that I would leave feeling amazing and rejuvenated. Aubrey possesses a truly unique and wonderful gift for helping others.

Her ability to connect and provide such profound healing is remarkable i'm so happy to have found her and look forward to continuing this journey of growth and healing with her in the future thank you aubrey for sharing your incredible gift and making such a positive impact on my life all my best. I just feel so blessed and fortunate to get to spend my time with these amazing clients that I attract into my world, and that I'm able to help them on a deeper level than anything they've experienced.

So I'm really thankful for Megan sharing that with everybody so that you guys can understand what it's like to feel different. During each session, you can feel a transformation happening. You never leave feeling upset like so many do after therapy. You actually have those releases in the session and you get to move on from there. That is truly an incredible experience and I can promise you that.
