Valerie Giglio is many things: a singer, published author, and practicing attorney. At age 42, Valerie suffered a stroke that left her paralyzed on her left side. She went through extensive rehabilitation and physical therapy to learn how to walk again, and ultimately sing professionally again. This is her story. Her recent book, Singing in My Own Key: A Vocalists’ Triumph Over Stroke is available at online sellers and the audiobook version will be released in August.
