Creative Processing Defined: Activating your creative mind to process a certain intention.

CREATIVE PROCESSING CHALLENGE: RELATIONSHIPS

Step 1: Write down your intention:

  • The purpose of [JOURNALING OR CREATING HOWEVER YOU WANT TO CREATE] is to process [HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS].

Step 2: Creative Processing Prompt:

  • Write down a recent conflict or miscommunication you had.

Step 3: Engage your creative mind (aka-CREATE) while thinking through or writing down answers to these questions:

  • How much of it was about the actual situation, and how much was influenced by past experiences or assumptions?

  • Is there something you need to release in a relationship or do to take a step towards building healthy relationships?

Step 4: Reflect.

  • Before your next tough conversation, PAUSE.

  • Set an intention: Do I want to be correct or effective?
