Episode description

Spencer is back for another week of abuse. The crew is talking about brewery concerts, meeting up with gram friends, the most annoying thing while working at a brewery, buying drinks for people, fake IDs, and blaming ghosts for driving crazy.

-

Greg and Spencer are drinking West Coast Freshie from Monkish Brewing. Flex is sipping on Demo Track from Eagle Park Brewing. It’s an open-fermented West Coast IPA.

-

Greg went to Naughty Pine’s emo night and ran into a bunch of beer friends. Spencer talks about the most annoying questions he gets while working at a brewery. He also does a great job walking us through what an open-fermented beer is.

-

Maryland is making things awkward with this week’s Ludicrous Libation Law.

-

Boston Beer is rolling out a new tequila RTD cocktail. New York is cracking down on fake IDs…supposedly. It turns out DogfishHead isn’t worth as much as Sam Adams paid for it. A drunk guy in Florida has a spooky excuse for damaging his car. And 15 classic beers you should (maybe) revisit.

But I need to send me some spotted cow. Oh, yeah. Shut up. You don't? Yes, I do. No bullshit. I really do. It's not even that good. Well, trade you. For a Pliny. You're. I'll send you a case of Pliny. Easy. Here's a funny story about that. So the guy who I met said he was getting a Pliny trade, and he said all the guy wanted in return was spotted. Cow. See? Isn't that obnoxious. Territory for territory? They're both obnoxious. Pliny. Welcome in, everybody, to the Craft Beer Republic.

Thanks for drinking. Thanks for joining. I am Greg. I mean, I was going to make a large joke, and I'm just not going to I'm being joined by Fleksy. So instead, we'll make an average. Teacher at. You know Nick Collins has been that over on the booze like they can't big dick Nick and because they as of average size dick Nick so always makes me giggle that. Sits in today that is. Exactly so anyways fleksy over there and joining us again this week for a little more abuse is Spencer.

What's up, buddy? What's going on, guys? Thanks for coming back around. Yeah, I think he really likes it or. Well, I think that burned out the first time Nora beaten. So I think they'll be okay. Well, stand by for round two. It only gets worse. The flogging. No, only. Increase. Send in the draw. So too many Austin Powers. Thank you all for hanging out. We've got a lot to get to tonight. Spencer brought over some tasty beers that I am excited to. I said beers, plural, like I can't talk already.

Beer that I'm excited to get into. In just a second we have a voicemail from the homie chew your beer. We have a recap of emo now we got some booze news. We got a Ludacris libation LA and so much more. I think we need you hydrate so I can work on my English a little bit. So let's let's check in with what we're drinking over here. Oh, I haven't. Flexes. Earn is beads over there. It's Mardi Gras. I get to work for the winter season. Yeah. He's got to do it now.

He can't do it in February when Mardi Gras really takes place. It's -32 degrees over there. Yeah, I'll remember that. Yeah. All right. You'd actually. Lose that. Lose a nipple if you do it. I can't wait for February now. We'll be back on for that. Shows see where it's going. Yeah so. It's like I never coming back backstab. That's proven that. We are drinking from monkish brewing company west coast fresh this is 6.9% it says has zero ibus. Do we put the. Percentage on. Ethereum 6.9 yay.

Zero IBS which. We all know don't matter. I think that's a misprint on that. Yeah, it's kind of like one of the infos. They say it's a west coast water, but we've already established that I've used they're bad anymore, but since. My night at 69, we'll just leave. It at that 16 I did. They say it's a West Coast IPA with strata mosaic and Chinook hops. You know, tasty. And it certainly smells like it. Modern and old school. Yeah. It smells juicy with a little bit dank on the end.

Like, it's definitely a clear beer, but it has a little bit of, like, hazy smell to it. Hmm. Dung Java ten, a lot of pineapple, one juiciness, a lot of tropical, very dry on the finish, which is nice. Leaves you want more absolutes? I wish I brought more. You say drinks like a pale ale. It's like so smooth and so crisp. Although maybe more of that mid-tier. One can only help more. 69 Mid-Show. I mean, we all know that monkeys can't do anything.

Well, they could do it gets a couple of things wrong, but when it comes to hybrids. Yeah, they usually pepper the bass pretty. Yeah. When it comes to the Hobie stuff, they're doing good work over there. So very nice. Yeah, this. It's very juicy. There must be a ton of dry hoppy in this one because it's clear, but it really has some qualities of a juicy. I don't want to say hazy, but a juicy IPA.

No, I want to say I would probably least a double dry hop that the strata and the Chinook definitely bring those juice here, pineapple white gummy bear flavor profiles through. And that date is mosaic through and through. Yeah. And that's what. It does in dry on the end. So keeping it classic. Very nice. Well, thanks for sharing. Of course. Of course. Couple of things to cover. First of all, emo night Brett over at Knotty Pine had her IMO night last week and what a fucking blast that was.

30 Fallouts to romance or 30 romances the fall out now they follow flex now because he's an influencer but. Oh yeah. My goal is for when I finally make it out to California that they let me like collab on a song o stage. I feel like that because I'm a big emo fan. So yeah well that we know, you know what if you come out here, I'm noticing. Dashboard Confessional, though. Yeah. What deal. I'll do it. I'll do whatever you want done.

If you come out here, I'll talk to Brett and get in touch with those guys, and we'll. We'll see if we can make something happen. We need to get a mentor out here. Do it. But they, they were playing. They're fucking awesome if you're into the IMO music the emo scene like they put on a killer fucking show so it was like a Halloween emo night at 90 pine. Everybody was there except for Spencer. No, but in that matrix. Monica from Petals and Pints was there. Along with her husband, James works.

An integral otter was there? Of course Brett was there because you know her spot. But Devin and Interim Brian were there. The homie Chu your beer was there. It was it. Was a party. It was a fucking party, man. We had a good time and she had a big release for her new stout. And, um. Yeah. Good night. Good fucking night. Sounds like them. Is that any easier for me is. Sounds like a great but. I think maybe is the best for me in the long run. Maybe.

Maybe it was so funny because I don't want to throw her under the bus here. But Monica, who is probably like the nicest person in the world. Had taken it to 12. Yeah. She she. Had some hydration in her well say and you know some people as they get drunker they get whatever she just like you think she's the nicest person ever and then she gets drunk and she becomes even. Nicer, even more so. Yeah, that's crazy. She was. So bloody good to. Up to us. Go up to 11 now. Are drinking it up even more.

Yeah. Niceness up till 11. So it was a good time. It was a fucking good party. People rolling in and lots of good beers, good music can't go wrong and some weirdos in costume. So she was there. Like I said, he called him and left a voicemail, which if anybody knows Westlake Village where not he did. He call in from the night and. So not quite as cool as when Mike did that when he was hammered at night you piney cozy. Dressed up at least when he told you he. Was dressed up like your beard.

Oh, is it very accurate costume? Yeah. Good job with it. So he was. He called in with a little recap of his own will. And I'll just say the end part. This is very accurate about Westlake Village. Hello. No one is available to take your call. Please leave a message after the tone. What are they? Crappy Republic to be here, mi familia. How are you two? You be here. Check it out, homey. Went to Casa Aria in Oxnard is a really awesome host.

It's like I cam real adjacent or it's like the first exit when you go to Austria anyways beer there were amazing had an amazing where because they play by the name of Stanley's IPA awesome. And then I drank their black checked it was good I decided to leave and on the way home we found that nanny was on the way home. So I've never been there. The isolation roll up because it's been a while, you know, I've been asking to show up to make an appearance and we made it happen.

Homie got there. I text Greg. Greg says he's going to be there in 30 minutes, which is crazy. Showed up there. Well said to my boy we hung out got to meet intern Brian and cool thing we got to meet also Monica of petals and paint so me no one told me that it was emo Halloween day at 90 pine and Monica showed up like the most emo character from DC Comics other than a cover other one from the Dark Justice League. But she was dressed up as Raven homie.

I'm a huge DC Comics fanatic, so that was fucking awesome to meet her, to meet Raven homie. And that's all. Raven and Greg for Raven from DC Comics. And there had been times when we drank nothing but the dark check lager they have there. That was awesome as beer also, I realized that Knotty Pine brings all the Stiffler moms to the brew. Ya homie, that place was Stiffler. Mom's everywhere, homie.

It was like all the ladies were my age or above, and maybe like a few scattered that are under 40 years of age. It was a trip. I never really saw something like that, but I guess I was in in the city where that is very, very common, homey. A lot of stuff around here. That's a good thing, though. There are hot moms, a lot of Botox and girls. Me pills and girls. Oh, yeah, let's just put it that way, homie.

So if you're a divorced craft beer enthusiast and you're looking for a craft beer enthusiast mill for Gilmore Little Knotty Pine homie. Hey, yo, I need a few, bro. To figure that. Out. It's only a palooza has a date, it's been set, and that's about it. Intern Brian. Nice meeting you, homey. And your girl hot mess of it's crazy to meet people like that and and what have you, buddy. Awesome. All right. This is true.

You wear a cut in his shorts and you guys talk so much shit about my my shit, I this is true. He got a choice. I got you. Yeah, like, 3 minutes and. 46 minutes. Love it. So, first of all, as someone who grew up in Camarillo, Casa Adria is firmly in Oxnard. Yes, for me, yeah. It's very much in Oxnard. And yes, Westlake Village is full of Milfs and girls and there's enough Botox and silicone in that city to kill a herd of elephants, that's for sure. Probably a couple times over.

Yeah. Yeah. Or all the remaining elephants. But for me to go broke all at the same time. Yeah, that's this. If he thinks not you. But honestly, I don't think 90% is that bad with like the MILF, the west, like MILF scene. If you really want to go to the West, like M.S. and like go to bogeys. Oh, that's Stone House or. Yeah, a little corner over there is a. Flex is like what you guys talk about. Dangerous. Yeah. Yeah. If you're, if you're trying to be hunted by some cougars, that's that's where.

You that's where you dare to get pounced on. That's my cross to bear, man. Trying to get hunted by. Someone's got to. Know getting hunted. Oh. Come on out. We know the spot. Yeah. You're paying for the cover charge that you. Yeah, it's either bogies or we're taking down Orange County. One of the other lots of cougars blew it. Yeah. Awesome, awesome night, like you said. So much fun. So much good beer, so much good music.

Um, last week we talked a little bit about Spencer and how you're, you're the man over in Mid West. The try to be the man, the. Me. The cellar man. I wanted to ask you. That to me this. What's when we talked about a little bit about being in the fishbowl but what's the most annoying thing that happens to you at the brewery or like an annoying question from customers or. Oh, it's always. Like every question you ask me. That's it. No, it's always, what's our most popular beer.

Which I think I asked you. Last year, which is. But we get from like delivery drivers dropping off pallets of grain when it's the same guy that I've seen for the last eight months and he asks me the same question every other week. It was like, Yeah, it's well as our number one beer and that's what we do. Or when people walk in like, Oh man, it smells so great in here. What were you guys brewing today? It's like. Beer. Beer? Yeah. Oh, no. Yeah, something. Something. We're doing something today.

It was. Malt hops. I'm sorry. It has. I know. Like, the my nose is. It's a tuned to it. But at the same time, when you've been doing it for so long, you're just like, I don't pick up what we're smelling or a new day, or it's like, Oh, it's just casual. Like, smells. Like hot cereal and hops. I don't know. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're like, oh, it smells like. Yeah, yeah. Today's a little more oatmeal when we're doing that hazy versus just straight grain with a pilsner.

You start making shit up like, Oh, it's our new sour. That's our most popular one. Ah, Imperial Stout. That's our most popular one. I've try to pull that off on people that but they've been around nothing like we know you guys don't make the stout. It's our new seltzer. Or. Eggnog. Seltzer. That's our most popular. No. We do a seltzer that things are struggling off already. So do you do a seltzer? We do. I haven't had it for obvious reasons.

And so, yeah, you're doing that much. You're not. Missing out. I mean, not to get you to, like, talk shit about your own company, which, like I said, one of my favorite breweries, but do you enjoy the seltzer that you guys have? Yes. Yes, I do. Okay. But it's not something that I would pursue. Okay. I'm happy. Like I've definitely tasted way worse. Seltzers. Sure. So it is. It is a good product, but it is not up my alley. Right. It's got to be your jam. It's absolutely.

Yeah, I found that a lot of and this is really usually more like smaller breweries, very small berries that do the thing where like they just ferment sugar water and then add flavor as you order it. No charges. I've never seen that before. Oh, really? Oh, no, not once ever. Yeah. So I'm not accusing that worst of. No, no. So ours is what it is. Fermented sugar water that is a seltzer throw in through the amp and get away from that unfortunately.

And then we use either a pure or an extract to flavor it to what we want, and then a little more magic. And the. Magic is cocaine. Right? Yes. Yeah. We do the salt base cocaine. Little drop of. It. Yeah. You know. Okay. Yeah. To the cocaine. Back. Now like I've seen it where it's like the fucking coffee flavor pumps in like you order a seltzer and they're like, here's your sugar water. And well, I guess the hushpuppies. Pretty much the. Worst.

I've seen that it's so many, like small, small breweries. It's like. Uh, because that way it keeps their costs down. So that way they're not committed to a single batch of that. So. Right. I mean, they're, they're basically printing money at that point, correct? Yeah. Cause it's in, it's fermented sugar water and they've got the what the Tortelli. Yeah. Exact bottles. Right, that's. It. They're stolen from Starbucks. Whatever. Oh that's. Funny. They had to put two pumps classic £3 raspberry.

Order in your seltzer like a coffee. The two pump charges. Yeah. Uh. That's funny. Horrible transition. As you can tell them. Drinking it. Let me see if I can clean that up a little bit and do a little editing. Please don't. Okay, well, I'll keep the transition horrible. I like the natural, the raw, the raw dog, the transition, the the shitty raw dog trash. You park bar. Whoa, whoa. Boy, you did not learn from fun tainted. You know. Keep it slow. Keep it clean. Unlike my.

Transition. All right, Ludacris Libation LA. This one comes to us from Maryland, where apparently it is illegal to send female bartenders a cocktail like as a customer. If you're like, I want to buy that bartender a drink and it's a female. Yeah, I cannot do it. That makes no sense. And they, they specified female. So I guess you can buy a male a drink. So if you're at a gay bar, it's. I guess it's. Okay for those guys. Yeah. All right.

And they're so again, you guys getting hooked up all kinds of drinks. But then they cancel out like women's nights as well, apparently recently. So that's it's very weird. Every state is complicated. Yeah. Was making. The. Laws, man. I feel like if you ever buy a bartender a drink too, it's usually just a shop. Right? Yeah. The whole, like, buying a cocktail. I never did make it themselves. Like, Hey, can I order a cosmo? Yeah. Okay, now you drink it. Yeah.

And knowing that they're like, if it's for them, like Portland, people like me, easier. Right? Thank you. I'll have it later. Yeah. That is a weird one. They're like, Can I order you a cocktail that you're going to make? I just want to see you make it right. Sorry. You are under. No. Yeah. Now drink it. Slowly. Yeah. It's so weird. You go to McDonald's like, can I buy you a cheeseburger? Like, I don't fucking. Yeah, it's weird. Yeah. Flex. What are you sipping on over there?

This is actually kind of exciting. So you guys are going to West Coast, which I had absolutely no idea about it. You two. Was. You can see it. Yeah. Talking about drinking the West Coast and randomly I took out classic flex Eagle Park. There it is. You don't see it. But. I want those fries. There. Another one. But this demo track series that they do, it's all like experimental stuff, right on. And they're doing this is the first batch of this.

It is an open top fermented West Coast IPA batch one. Intriguing and it is with Mosaic Chinook and Eureka Hops. Okay, we're going to see then. Yeah. So I had a little talk with Max, one of the owners of Eagle Park, and there wasn't quite sure what open top fermented meant other than that, that there was no top on the fermenter. But he said it. Inker put them. He said it puts less stress on the camera hops. No or the the correct it was. Yeah. Less stress yeast.

Yeah. So then it is something where it can bring out more notes of uh, from the I can't remember what it may Spencer is. Cellar man. Resident No, no, please. Please enlighten us. No. The stress does. The yeast doesn't become stress to give off flavors or anything. So if it's a relatively controlled temperature environment, it's the story of off.

It's true natural flavor characteristics without being tormented by temperatures or pressure on top of that and then the open vessel light for a light California ale. It just lets natural yeast and help propagate in there as well, which makes good beer like that. So we. What he says open top fermented that's like like an anchor steam like it open for the. Open top.

So probably not in a vessel but I'm assuming stainless but generally pretty shallow and think of like a pool that's only, you know, 6 to 12 inches deep. But you know, 30 feet in diameter. It's like a kiddy pool of beer. Correct. I want to go swimming. So it's going to be a little sticky when you get out there. A bit worse. Sticky like this, lacing. A little bit. Good lord. It is just to the glass.

But yes, I mean, so this is just super classic, tremendous amounts of pine lots of bitterness, just really delicious, classic West Coast beer. Nice. Doesn't look like a westie, but it probably is. It is. It is. I mean, the color is looks. A little more angry, but still it's good. I approve, but it's still not super clear. But I actually can see my laptop a little bit. Then Damon. Threw it. Well, yeah, definitely a touch touch on the hazy side. Maybe it's unfiltered, I'm assuming.

Yeah, we'll go with that, I'm assuming. Very nice. A little booze news. Boston beer a.k.a Sam Adams is rolling out their first tequila based RTD ready to drink cocktail? Yeah, it's calling at Loma Vista. Tequila soda. Sounds like Spencer. What a grenade. What a great. Name. Yeah, I have not had first off, I've not had a lot of these, but the very few I've had, I've not in Joe. I never have. RTDs are not, not high on the list now. They seem to be super sugary. Yes. And then. But it is.

We had a concert. I can understand the approval or the appeal for it, but you just want to hang out. I've had one before. I was like, Oh yeah, it's super light fuel alleged that alcohol straight through and sweet sugar anise to mashed it Yeah and it's never what you think it like I've had my diet did not taste like my dad. Well I think. The absolute worst I've had was a mimosa and it can and it was for I mean, it was disco and it said like use real fruit juice.

And I was like, Oh, maybe this would be good. And it was absolute garbage. And then I was reading the can and here's why they didn't use sparkling wine or champagne. They used white wine and added carbonation. Oh, that's exactly right. Yeah. I was like, uh, and I hate white wine. I can't get those shards in those vineyards away from my face like. A buttery shard. No. And I don't know. Heading over to New York. New York is cracking down on fake IDs and underage drinking over the summer.

Most don't believe. That. Over the summer, this is they ticketed 550 people and confiscated 580 fake IDs. Way too harsh. Our melody York. Why people people fake IDs. It's true. Well so they got 500 people. Think about all the underage people that actually go to bars and clubs. You just got to know somebody. 500 is nothing. Yeah, especially. You think to the populace of New York. City in New York. That that's not even a drop in the water that is.

Cracking down my. And. That's what that's like humidity and the more lights that's for like dust like misting in the morning like. It's. The most minuscule amount you like not weird it. Yeah and it's weird that they reported that like it was some brag it's. Because they have to do that just being like we're taking care of illegal IDs. Like your tax dollars hard at work. There's plenty of other things you should be taken care of. Seven stills brewing out of San Francisco. Have you had them?

I don't. Think I'm familiar with the name, but have not had. Them that same. They have ceased operate portions of last week and they say, unfortunately, the lasting effects of the pandemic on our business have made it impossible for us to continue operating. Although our team kept their heads high and continue to work through the challenges, we were hit with massive supply chain delays and made and made it impossible for us to even get the cartons or cans we needed to run our business.

Meanwhile, we continued to service massive amounts of debt and repayment plans just to keep our doors open, which seems like a little bit of a familiar story through the pandemic and the shortages and everything. So for it, sorry to hear that never had them, but, uh, you know, you don't like breweries closing. Yeah, it's super sad. Vets never want never want a place like a brewery to go down for. Yeah. Time or I mean, obviously, the pandemic was brutal for a lot of places.

So even just to make it this far out of it per se, even though if we're still in it, who knows? But to make it this far and then but unfortunately come. To it, it's kind of like things are opening up and now you're it's it's too bad you can hang on. For add a little bit. More. Yeah, it's too bad. But once you get too far behind, it's never just uphill battle. Under, uh, you know, those kind of things. A lot of times somebody comes in and buys the, uh, the brewery, so we'll see what happens.

Boston Beer took a $27.1 million non-cash impairment charge for the Dogfish Head brand. So we talked about this a year or two ago before Balance Point got rebuffed. They took a huge impairment charge and basically it's like, hey, we overpaid for these guys and now we want a tax break for it. $27.1 million in said tax break. So they're basically admitting that they overpaid for Dogfish Head. Yep. Which I think we all knew. Yeah. Especially balanced plan for for the one with a. Billion

with. A B. To sell for pennies on the dollar to teens and convicts. 67. Million. Yeah. Micro minuscule. Yeah. But I think it was, you know, just like Sam Adams just over out to like saying how much their seltzers were expanding and then they were off by 40% were astronomically. Off on their. Euro or something. Yeah, that was a double seltzer. They was like that was weird. There was its own inflation within itself but that bubble burst. Yeah.

And then they so fast they were. Legit dumping seltzers. Yep. Like they couldn't get rid of them, they couldn't even give them away. So that was a weird one. That's any seltzer given to me, Eddie. Your your dumping for them. Like. Lexi's over there. I'll help you with that. We've done it. Dump. Dump it up. A drunk driver. You should we should done this one on Halloween and drunk driver as a creepy excuse for his car damage. This will surprise everybody from Florida.

Yeah. Everybody get you surprise based on the Marion County Sheriff's Office, released body camera video of a traffic stop or a DUI suspect threatened deputies and blamed his impairment on I'll get to that in a second. According to the sheriff's office, around 4 a.m. on October 23rd, they spotted a car in the area of Southwest Highway 44, driving with Hazard lights on and two flat tires. When deputies stopped the vehicle, they determined the driver, Andres.

Oh, don't make me read this. Or or Kayla. All through. The. Try it again month by month telegraphy. Oh, doesn't. Love it or holy month or worse. June you need him was likely impaired. Deputies asked about the damage and that guy said someone put a curse on him. Oh geez. Well, being asked to perform field sobriety test, he said the damage to his car was from paranormal activity. The Fantasma. I'm surprised the sage wasn't burning at the same time.

During the exercise, he made violent threats against the officer. He told the deputy he was going to break your head with a baseball bat and skin you a light. I will exercise the demon. He spit on the deputy's face. Deputies say he played as they placed him under arrest. He grabbed at a taser while in the back of the patrol car. He kicked and struck both deputies while continuing continuing to taunt them.

He's facing charges of battery and law enforcement, resisting an officer with violence, attempting to deprive an officer of means of protection or communication corrupt by threat against public servant and driving under the influence. If convicted, he faces up to 25 and a half years in prison. Man They threw the. Grabbing towards the tasers. Pretty normal. I would have been concerned if he was grabbing towards genitals. Would rip them off and. Eat these. But angry at. Some some.

Bath. Salts kind of shit. Oh yeah. Right. It is. Florida. That wouldn't be surprised if there. Was trace amounts on that radio that so I let alone one ounce. I think it's in the water at this point. It's it's not the fluoride issue it's it's the bat's all the difference. We're going to find out. The floor is just fine. It's the best. Answer. But then they're willing to with this list because flexi loves lists. I love live it's like. It's been a while since we had a list.

Well, besides shooting candy. Well, the. Yeah, which was wrong. It was 100% correct. The relevant. Yeah, I. Agree. It's 5050. Yeah. This is the strike. This is according to Thrillist 59 classic beers that are definitely worth revisiting. And I will warn you that there are some non craft beers on here, but how many? How many Bourbon County? There's 17 goose islands in this. There is. No way. In fact, it is only Goose Island. I'm just waiting for. 2010. Gummy Bear Barrel aged just.

Stout. Right. It's coming out in 23. That's the 23 CB's. We'll start at the top here. I mean, classic. Everyone loves this one. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, of course. Can't go wrong. Classic. You guys get that out there. I like in a regular basis, there's nothing. Yeah, that's a really good beer. Yeah. 50 states I'm pretty sure. Next Oscar blues Del's pale ale. Yep I classic that I don't like it. No I don't love it I haven't had it and probably did years but.

Let me tell you where it's at some at some to revisit as it says. Yeah they used to sell that when I was like 20, 21 at Walgreens for like $9 a case. That's worth it. Good old watering. Yeah, it wasn't very good then. I know the case, though. Next up, I am not a fan. Sam Adams, Boston Lager. Nope. No, not a fan. Yeah. I like some of their one offs and their seasonals. October or October. Fast like this time of year is actually one of the best times for Adams. But yeah, but they're Boston Lager.

I just add to it lager. Boston lagers, my pop server beer. It was the first beer I ordered when I was 21, and I think that was the last time I had a smart. Smart. Good choice. I don't know why anybody wouldn't be revisiting this on an annual basis, but Firestone, Walker's parabola. Oh, yeah. Delicious. Who would not? Yeah, this one. I can go with that log in. It is IPA. As you are now. Yeah. If you love the the taste of 1995 and strip in your teeth of all enamel.

I have a friend who still buys it. I so if he brings it over. This, you buy it like in the 19.2 ounce light. Paul Light Tallboys. No, but if he brings it overall, drink one. Yeah, well. We'll say no to beer at least a beer. Free beer. Yeah. I don't know this one. The duck, rabbit, milk, stout. No, never on my radio. Apparently it's. It's only on the East Coast. Yeah. Never heard of it. Here's one for flexi new Glarus raspberry tart. Hey. Oh, yeah, that. That is a banger.

And this is funny because it's the conversation before the show, but then the next one is Russian River. Pliny the Elder. We were waiting to trade for this. Now we were. Joking that we're going to trade Pliny for new for some new Glarus spotted calf. It's California's basic bitch river. Wisconsin is basically. Beer and. Classic trade. Yeah. Yeah, it's definitely good beer. I agree. Folk bangers, but it's kind of like with Russian River. I'd rather have blind people. Planning. The absolute. Same kind of thing. Dogfish Head, 60 minute IPA. It's fine. You don't want to 120 that much. And I have one time I. Just lucked out. Actually, I have it in the fridge.

It's not a bad beer. It's just it's funny. It wins so many awards.

I remember the last time I had it, the wife's best friend got married, and I think it was like 2015 or something, and she had two beers at her wedding and that was one of them. So I had a lot. That's fair. Yeah, I want. I want to know what Allagash White. It's now like. It's a a maine brewery that's become like the standard for Belgian wet internationally. Yeah they have really sweet and modest and like this is what it should be and this is what it is. And apparently the proof is in the pudding.

Yeah. Yeah. Think thanks Maine for setting the standard right there. John. Maine. Yeah. Good job, Maine. That's everything. FEMA is angry about that. Call it either two, five, five, three beer. I'm sure. I don't think I don't think I'd be angry about that. I'm sure the one you could be angry about, like logging eaters. Yeah, that was the one that was not. Yeah, I don't need a vineyard or Boston Lager. Lager, but yeah, Boston Lager. I guess I got to be a percent upset about that one.

Yeah, and I'm upset that people need to revisit parabola. You should be drinking that on the regular. But I don't I don't think everybody would get. That. So it is an interesting one put on the list. It's a very like limited regional it's very California. It's a weird one to put on this list. Like whoever made this is probably from California because no one outside is getting it. Definitely not that I know of. Even with them being owned for Mars scenario that still not mess this drought to.

Revisit new new glarus raspberry tart like that's something that people buy they wait, you know, they wait for it every year. Yeah. Just to buy. Well I'll trade you some Pliny and then.
