Family Pandemic - Build Your Bunker
For our families to stand the test of time Jesus must be the cornerstone. This means that Jesus should be celebrated as the victor, hailed as the hero and worshiped as the Savior.

Everyone leaves a legacy, many leave a legacy of brokenness, many leave a legacy of heartache, many leave a legacy of addiction, but few leave a legacy that matters.
One of the questions we should ask when we desire our marriages to be great is, “who am I being to bring about an extraordinary marriage” not, what am i doing to have an extraordinary marriage.

Gods love for us is not based on a contract its based on a covenant, and if this is true, then shouldn’t our marriages be the same?
Today we will be diving into these topics and discussing from a Biblical worldview.
Forgiveness is a tricky thing, but as followers of Jesus, we are not only commanded, but equally we should be compelled to forgive, based on what forgiveness has been given to us freely.

As brothers and sisters in Christ we are to be each other’s advocates. If this is the case why is there all too often a feeding frenzy when someone fails?

We all have our own notions of who Jesus is, and what He came to this earth to do, but unless we truly allow scripture to inform us of the nature of Jesus, we will be reading our own desires into the life of Christ, thus producing a Christ of our own making with no power to save.
Jesus has an interaction with a man named Zacheus that gives us an insight into how we should treat those who may not believe like us. Have we aligned our lives and our churches in such a way that we end up pushing out the Zacheus’s or have we created a space that welcomes them home?

Maybe the truth is that we want a God who is controllable because we want to be God. We want to be the authority on who God is or isn't and what's right or wrong, but we want the mask of religion or spirituality to cover up the I-wanna-be-God reality.

Jesus is Lord. The provocative statement has led to people being burned at the stake, countries being divided and a movement that still pushes into our modern day. But what does it mean? What is the claim that we are making when we proclaim Jesus as Lord?
The original Pioneer was God; who out of nothing created all that exists today. What type of limitless power and might must the original Alpha of Innovation hold? And yet as powerful as He may be His desire is that we know His name.
When it comes down to it, what are the priorities that we give our lives to?

What we give our time to shows what we value, and what we put our heart into proves the health of our soul. Are we prioritizing our schedules according to the way of Jesus or the way of self interest?
We are in a “got to have it now” generation. We want the newest the fastest and the latest model of everything, and we need it now. But even though we have all the information in the world at our fingertips why is it that we feel more separated than ever from the relationships that matter most?
When you boil it all down, what do we get for all our rushed and hurried culture? Are we losing our souls just to make an extra dollar? Are we losing the relationships that mean the most because we are investing in things that give us little in return? Do the apparent, “gains” in the end equal out to a zero sum game?
We live in a culture of hurry. We are in a rush to do everything. But Is there a correlation between the hurry and the increase in anxiety that we are seeing in our society? What if there was another way?
The culture of heaven operates differently than the culture of earth, but as people who live with heaven as our hope. is there a way that we can foster a heavenly culture in our world today?
