Luke 6:36-49 (March 16, 2025)

How should we treat brothers and sisters in Christ when they are struggling with sin, when they are failing? God tells us to be rich in mercy as He is rich in mercy toward us. Every time we see someone else's sin, it is an opportunity to reflect on our own and to then respond in gentleness, not judging, not condemning but forgiving and giving. If we are blind to our own need for God's mercy, we will not be able to give mercy to others, but if we are going to be like our heavenly Father we will be rich in mercy.
