28. Katie Schindler of Fine Grit

There's nothing more that Nesha Pai loves than a female business owner succeeding in a traditionally male-dominated industry. Today's guest on Piece of the Pai knows that world as well as anyone. Katie Schindler is the owner of Fine Grit, a custom cabinet and furniture shop based in Charlotte, NC. Since 2015, Katie has been creating bold, original new designs for her clients based on their unique visions. Katie's work can be seen in Charlotte at establishments like The Waterman, Lilbelle, Selenite Beauty, and The Golden Carrot in Atherton Mill. Katie joins Nesha on Piece of the Pai to talk about her own vision as a business owner in her industry, the challenges of working in a traditionally male-dominated field, and what some of her favorite projects are.
