The first, Camp Hero in Montauk, NY, is an abandoned Air Force Base said to have inspired the show "Stranger Things" with it's WWII and Cold War Era Human Psychological Testing. The other is Plumb Island off the coast of Southold, NY. Plumb Island is infamous for being one of the most secretive Government Testing Facilities on Animals and Diseases.
