In the Premier League Liverpool gegenpress Pep's side out of step, Arsenal's negative spiral starts to resemble something out of a Tim Burton film, Spurs pummel Everton as Allardyce throws new striker in Tosun, and in Spain Vermaelen and Paulinho send Barcelona 19 points clear. What a sentence.
