He has no children and there are no young people in the neighborhood except for the son of a woman who lives in six oh eight next door to mister Cormack. The name of these people given was Martin's, so it was Leighton Martin's, and the woman advised that the sun is about nineteen years old and attends school in Lafayette, Louisiana,
comes home only on weekends and holidays. The city directory was searched for miss for missus Martin's, but of the three listed, none are shown as residing at six o' eight Nashville. December fourth, nineteen sixty two, a call was made to Telephone Information Service for a phone in the

Risley on November twenty sixth, nineteen sixty two, that the nineteen sixty two Louisiana registration three two seven nine thirty eight is listed to Henry J. Winkler, eight hundred Oaks Long Drive, Metairie, Louisiana, the licenses for a nineteen sixty two Ford Falcon futura. Huh does anybody recall
what color he said that this thing was? Could it possibly be light blue? Which would make mister Henry J. Winkler an accessory to the crime guys in the chat? If you want to pull up what you count on, Henry J. Winkler Oddsar, Louisiana, resident, eight hundred Oaklawn mitterary. The nineteen sixty one New Orleans City Directory reflects Henry J. Next page appears to be an Eastern Airlines internal memo Ronald Hubner to Ronald Hubner from Chase Carson, date July sixteenth, nineteen sixty three, referenced David Ferry. The records of that one case in Jefferson Parish were refused. They were viewed, however, and the pertinent contents were the same statements sent to Miami yesterday in New Orleans case h H eighty five oh seven, Dash sixty one and closed with the police reports and statements of John T. Cater which make up
the record. In B seven nine oh four Dash six two, Juvenile Bureau, February eighteen, nineteen sixty two, Item B seven nine oh four sixty two to Joseph I. Jeruso, Superintendent of Police from Mayor Adolph ah Nice strong name from Major Adolph Meierhoffer. Oh, what a good German name, Supervisor of Juvenile Bureau. Subject investigation of extortion allegedly committed by David W. Ferry, aged forty one, of three thirty one
Atherton Drive. So we're backing up now into the investigation of the allegations against him, the extortion allegation involving Eric Frusche. So let's see Ronald Fournier and Charles Jeneaux of the Juvenile Bureau report of having investigated a matter involving extortion allegedly committed by David Ferry, white male, aged forty one of three thirty one Athterton Drive, on February sixteenth, nineteen sixty two, at ten am Fourtyer the writer of this report,
in company with Jehaneau. Additionally, report of having conducted investigations involving David Ferry in the past four months, which began on August sixteenth, nineteen sixty one. Officers Fournier and Jeanneaux will be referred to as investigating officers during the remainder
ethest report. Investigating officers conducted investigations in August and September of nineteen sixty one, which led to the arrest of David Ferry, which investigations resulted in charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, indecent behavior with juveniles, crimes against nature, and public intimidation. Charges against Ferry were accepted
in New Orleans and Jefferson parishes. In the impending cases against Ferry won Eric Michael Cruchet, White, Maile, aged sixteen of fifty five oh five Marey Street, is a witness.
On the morning of February sixteenth, nineteen sixty two, investigating officer Furty A received a phone call from the father of Eric Cruschet, who complained that a friend of his, John T. Cater, white male, aged forty one oh five four to five forur Dauphine Street, had been intimidated and that Ferry had made arrangements for a meeting with Cater after telling Kater that he Ferry had a proposition to discuss Mister Kruschet explained to investigating officers that Cater was
frightened and that Cater contacted him informing him. Cruche that Ferry wanted to meet. Cruchet told officers that he instructed Cater to go along with Ferry with the idea of notifying authorities. Cater and Ferry made arrangements to meet at Canal and Barone Street at ten am February sixteenth, nineteen sixty two, in front of the Walgreen's drug store. Mister Cruchet asked investigating officers if they would attempt to witness
this meeting. At nine fifty am on February sixteenth, nineteen sixty two, officers took up a position at Lord's Department Store for Women on Canal and Baron, across the street from the Walgreen's drug store. Immediately upon arrival, officers noticed that David Ferry standing in front of the drug store
with dark glasses on. Officers observed that Ferry kept walking in and out of the drug store for about ten minutes, and he came outside and disappeared from officer's view after he began walking up Canal Street in the direction of Clayborne Avenue. Investigating officers did not attempt to pick up Ferry again, as Faerry is thoroughly acquainted with them. Officers waited until approximately noon on February sixteenth, nineteen sixty two, and went to the home of mister Cruschet, where mister
Cater was found. Cater had arrived shortly before the arrival of officers. Mister Cruschet explained that mister Cater was a friend of his and had been for three years. Officers observed that Cater was very nervous at the time. Stated that Ferry had met him at the designated time and location and they had driven off in a car operated by a subject known only to him as Butch Huh, which of Fairy's friends was known as Butch. Cater told officers that they drove him to Tulane Avenue into a
Carrollton section to a Royal Castle restaurant. During the ride, they discussed the cases pending against Ferry. Cater explained to officers that Ferry asked him to get Mike Cruche to change his mind about testifying againainst him. Kater told officers it Fairry threatened that if Crusche gave a testimony against him, Fairry that he Faerry would get him Cater involved in a sex ring. Cater stated that Ferry told him that he had affid David's by many boys who'd accuse Kter
of having sex parties at his house. For further details, see the attached statement made by Cater taken at the Juvenile Bureau by investigating officers. Cater stated additionally that the meeting took place in a Chevrolet convertible, but he did
not know the make of the car. He stated that he thought the car belonged to the subject known as Butchkter said also that he had never known or seen Captain David Ferry in all his life, and that he didn't understand how Ferry had obtained his name and phone number at work. Investigating officers consulted with Assistant District Attorney Richard cether Si se I T H E R in this matter, and he advised officers to question Ferry and
present a report to the District Attorney's office. Investigating officers went to the home of David Ferry at three thirty one hours and drive at three thirty pm on February sixteenth, nineteen sixty two, in company with Sergeant Joseph Barns of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office. On arrival of officers at the home of Fairy, it was observed that several boys were standing around the front lawn of Ferry's residents. Ferry
came to the door invited officers to enter. Upon entering, officers recognized Lawrence Marsh White, male, aged nineteen to forty four or four Majestic Oak Street in Gretna, Louisiana, known to the officers as butch Ah So we got Lawrence Marsh, known as Butch in previous investigations, Ferry was placed under arrest. Ferry admitted being downtown at Canal and Baron at ten am on two, sixteen sixty two, but refused to say why he'd gone to this location. He stated only that
he'd gone to meet somebody. Lawrence Marsh stated that he had driven Ferry and his Chevrolet convertible to meet someone down at ten am to sixteen sixty two, but would not say anything more about the meeting. Officers observed the Chevy convertible LA sixty two license one O seven eight to eight parked in the front yard of Ferry's residence.
Ferry was booked at the East Bank Jail and was immediately taken to the First District station by investigating officers and booked with RS fourteen Article sixty six relative to extortion. He refused to answer questions and on the advice of his attorney. John Cater is a male nurse who lives alone. He has been married and is divorced. He has a teenage son who is in the military service. Mister Cruchet stated that mister Cater has been more than a good
friend for over three years. Cater stated that he has no police record, has never been arrested. He was asked by officers a Ferry could prove the accusations, and he stated that Ferry positively could not. On Sunday, February eighteenth, nineteen sixty two, Cater came to the Juvenile Bureau and formed investigating officers that he'd received a phone call from two boys, one of whom stated he was calling from
Ferry's residence. The phone call, according to Cater, was made about four pm on February sixteenth, sixty two, a short while after Fairy Woe arrested. Cater told officers the boys to asked him if he had made a statement against Ferry and asked them why he made it. The boys told him that Ferry was only trying to help all boys who were involved in the impending cases in New Orleans and Jefferson Parish courts, and that Ferry was also trying to help him Cater. The telephone conversation ended, and
Cater identified one of the boys. As it says Alvin Bobach. But it's Beau boof a boy whom he had previously met at a skating rink, Which is funny because remember David Ferry said that he was the only one who knew how to skate right, hilarious. After the discussion, Butch and Ferry drove me to flood in Burgundy Street. It was about twelve noon. I walked over to mister Cruschet's house and shortly after the police arrived. The rest is a Q and a question. How long have you known
the Cruche family? About three years? I visited them regularly and they visit me. Had you known Ferry before this incident? Never saw him before in my life. Had you ever known the boy named Butch? No, only by sights. I've seen him at a skating rink in the past. So what is it with skating rinks? Right? My opinion, it's where these kids can get trafficked and doesn't look out a place for kids to be there, right, any place it would look normal for a kid to be, It
would be a good place to traffic them. Is there anything more you'd like to add? At about four pm February sixteenth, I received a phone call at my house from Alvin boboof a boy I know from the skating rink. I asked him where I was and he stated that where he was. This is all kind of jumbled. I asked him where he was. He said he was at Dave Ferry's house. He stated that he had someone on
the line who wanted to talk to me. Some other boys whom I don't know and who didn't identify himself spoke with me and asked if I had made a statement to the police. I told him no. He told me that David Ferry was trying to help me and other boys told me that police had been to Faerry's house and picked him up. He asked me if I had ever heard the police threat and to kill Ferry, even get even with him, or make remarks about it. The conversation ended when I told him that I wasn't interested.
Do you have any idea of how Ferry got your name and phone number at work? No? Is this statement true and corrected the best of your knowledge? Yes, signed John Cater. So interesting statement from Cater m all right. Continuing on page three, investigating officers feel that Cater is being used by Ferry in order that Ferry can gain an acquittal in his appending cases in the courts of
Orleans and Jefferson Parish. Investigating officers would also point out that Cater once hung around a skating rink and knew many young boys, which included boboof and Marsh whom Cater only knew his Butcher. Thus, Cater would be a good target for Fairry's threats and intimidation. Officers check the Police Bureau of Identification and found that they have no record on John Cater. The District Attorney will be consulted. Signed
Fournier and Joea Investigators. All Right Juvenile Bureau, February sixteen sixty two. Statement of John T. Cater, White male, age forty one. He's forty one year olds hanging out with teenagers creeps, resigning at fifty four to fifty four Dauphine Street, relative to an investigation of intimidation and threats. I John Cater, without threats or promises, make the following statement and will
answer all questions asked of me. I was working at two h one to five State Street in a private home on Thursday night, February fifteen sixty two, and I received a phone call about eight thirty PM from a man who asked me, do you know who this is? I told him I had a good idea, and he said, I'd like to meet you tomorrow. I have a proposition.
I suspected that it was Dave Ferry on the phone because I had heard about him and the trouble was caused he was causing between Mike Crusche and the other boys. I was nervous about him calling at my work and I didn't know what to do, so I just told him that I would meet him. He asked me where it was a good place to meet, and I told him Walgreens on Canal Street because I was familiar with the location as I passed this place every day. I picked this place because it was safe and I didn't
want to be alone with this man. He hung up shortly after the conversation. I tried to get mister Gruchet that same night, but changed my mind because I didn't want to disturb them. I called mister Gruchet this morning about eight am to tell him what happened. Mister Gruche told me to go ahead and meet with Ferry and said that he would notify the police. I met Ferry this morning at the designated time in place ten am.
He told me he had a car and that Butch was with him and that he would take we would take a ride. I got in the car, which was parked by the curb on Canal directly in front of the Center Theater. It looked like a Chevrolet convertible to me, and Butch was driving it. Ferry wanted to drive around the block because he was expecting some kid to meet him there. The kid didn't show up, so then we drove up to Lane Avenue to Carrollton section and we
started talking while driving. We drove to some Royal Castle restaurant, but I don't remember where it was because I was nervous and unfamiliar with the neighborhood. Fairy talked about his case and explained to me that if Mike Cruche would not testify, no one would get in trouble. He stated that he had affidavids against me and that Cruche and the hockey players at the skating rink. He stated that it would be very serious for us if the Cruche
boy testified against him. He asked me to get Mike to change his mind not to talk and to testify against him. He stated that he was doing this only to help all the boys who were involved, because he was interested in boys, you think. Fairy stated to me that he had affidavids from boys who had been to
my house on several occasions on sex parties. He stated that he was going to get Mike and his brother Courtland involved in his sex ring and was making implications to make me believe that he had affidavids against me for having sex parties at my house. He told me I was closer to the Cruchet family to anybody, and he told me that I should have influence over them. I was wondering at the time how Ferry came to know that I was good friends with a Cruchet family.
He gave me his phone number, which was a Vernon number, which I have at home. He told me to call him and let him know the results of what I could do for him. Butch heard the entire conversation between Fairy and me. He even butted in stated that he'd been to my house too. I can say definitely that Butch has never been to my house. I don't even know his real name. We did most of the talking while riding in the car. We did not do much talking after we went to get a cup of coffee,
says continued, but then that page cuts off. Next thing we got New Orleans Police Department, Juvenile Bureau, August twenty third, nineteen sixty one. Statement of James Landry, white male, aged sixteen, residing three thousand and six domain relative to Captain Dave Ferry, white male, age forty five by residing three thirty one Atherton, contributing to the delinquency of juveniles. The below statement will be in question and answer form. Question to be asked
by Charles Jeneaux and answered by James Landry. I think it's Alexandra Landry, Alexander James Landry, do you know? Or maybe it's James Alexander Landry, but either way it's al Landry. Do you know Captain Dave Ferry? Yes, sir. How did you get to meet him? Through my father who worked at Eastern Airlines where Captain Ferry is a pilot. Will you remember the Civil Air Patrol the cap'n Ferry was in, Yes, sir, the Metarie Falcon Squadron. Did you ever attend any parties
at Captain Ferry's house on Atherton Drive, Yes, sir? What happened at those parties. Well, at one of the parties we brought our dates and danced and had whiskey and beer to drink. All the rest of the parties were stag parties. All the parties you went to at cap'n Ferry's house, you were allowed to drink whiskey and beer, yes, sir. And it really wasn't can't read what this word is. It was just a get together. It really wasn't a party. It was just get together after the meetings. Okay, there
we go. Have you ever seen any obscene, loud or dirty pictures at the home of David Ferry, Yes, sir. I saw some of those small comic books with people fucking. And he had some photographs that Captain said were from Mexico that had a man and a woman screwing. Did you ever see any boy drink at Captain Faerriy's home after a party there? I was high a couple of times. Al Landry was high. Huh, maybe James Landry is a different person from al Andrey. I was high a couple
of times. Al Landry was high. He drank at most of the parties I went to. What month and day did those parties take place. Well, we had a party Christmas Eve of nineteen sixty and we had whiskey and beer. Who was at this party? Alandry was there, Donnie Edwards was there for a little while. Late In Martin's was there and they didn't have too many How did you get to see these pictures you mentioned before, the lude pictures? The Captain handed them to me and told me to
look at them. It cuts off there again, that's two documents in a row that just cut off there. So here we go. It picks up like two pages later with a statement in the middle, so we're gonna have to double back to this. Did you ever spend the night at Captain Ferry's house? Yes, they're about seven times. Where did you sleep when you stayed at the Captain's home? Who did you sleep with when you stayed at the Captain's home? Captain Fairy? Did you ever have any sex
relations with the captain while you were sleeping with him? Yes, sir, I was sleeping with the Captain and I woke up and he was jerking me off. While he was jerking me off, he jerked himself off. Do you remember what day this happened? I can't remember the date, but I can't read this word. The whole thing is pretty clear except for this one fucking word. Um, but he jerked me about three times. Do you know of any other
boys that the captain had sex relations with? No, sir, Is there anything else you haven't told me pertaining to the activities at Captain Dave Ferri's home. No, sir, that's all. Is the above statement true? And to the best of your knowledge? Did you give the statement freely of your own will, without threats or promise. Yes, they're assigned James Landry, So that must be Al Landry's brother. Okay, so now I can double back because this other statement picks up,
so it just kind of splits off here. This is gonna be a statement of Eric Kruschem. If I find that we've already covered this, I'm probably gonna skip it. But it looks new. Juvenile Bureau, August twenty, second, sixty one, Jefferson Parish Police Statement of Eric Michael Krusche A sixteen. My name is Eric Crusche, and I, without threats or promises, make the following statement. Will answer all questions asked of me. Did we just read this? I don't think so. Okay,
here we go. Do you know Captain David Ferry of three thirty one Atherton. Yes, he's a pilot with Eastern Airlines. When did you first meet Captain Faery? It was about a year and a half to two years ago, after Halloween, when I joined the Civil Air Patrol. Can you tell us anything about your knowledge of Captain Fairy. When I first joined the outfit, I found out that there were
going to be a lot of drinking parties. So I tried to find out what the parties were like, and I found out when I went to my first party there were whiskey and beer drinks. One of the parties held at one of the female cadets house. Captain Ferry was there too. After the party, cap'n Ferry left with three boys. Since then, I've gone to many parties where there was heavy drinking and Captain Ferry. I've gone to
about ten or fifteen of these parties. I did so much drinking at this time that I almost became an alcoholic. Most of the stag drinking parties were held at Captain Ferry's house when he lived on Airline Park Boulevard, and some on Atherton Drive. One night Captain Ferry rented the Walnut Room at the New Orleans Airport for a Mardi Gras party for boys and girls. They had plenty of beer at the party and they were about thirty kids
there that night. That was Marti grav nineteen sixty and about three or four of us who got really drunk. Two weeks after Marti Graus, I went to his house on Airline Park Boulevard and we went out riding and had a few drinks. Captain Fairy bought the drinks and we were drinking while we were driving. We went to the New Orleans Airport and he bought me six beers. We went to Captain Fairy's house at Airline Park at
six am and we went to bed together. Captain Fairy showed me a book with just writing in it, and it was a sexy story that he told me that he was going to jerk off. Captain Fairy asked me if I was going to jerk off. Captain Ferry climbed on top of me and put his penis on top of my legs. He had a discharge on me and then he went to sleep. A couple of weeks later, y Yum Right a couple of weeks later, I went over to his house again and Captain Ferry gave me
the same book and let me read it. He jerked me off, and he jerked himself off at the same time, And when I had my discharge, he was looking at it. About one month later, Captain Ferry, Lighton Martin's and myself were going home from drill and we had just taken Carl Costa home. We were getting ready Carl Costa, Okay, so remember that name, Carl Costa. We were getting ready to take Layton home, and Ferry asked Layton if he wanted to spend the night at his house, and Laighton
said all right. While in the car we got the discussion of jerking off and Lighton and Captain Ferry and I if we ever jerked off and discharge enough to come for us to hit you in the eye. I noticed when I was in Captain Fairy's house that there were spots all over the wall and all over his dresser, and it looked like discharge spots. That's so gross. The three of us drove to Captain Ferry's house and Layton slept in the living room and me and Captain Ferry
went to Captain Fairy's bedroom. Captain Ferry jerked me off and he jerked himself off. After that, I went to sleep, and the next morning when I woke up, Captain Ferry had his and it cuts off again. Does it pick up? Does it pick up? Yes, had his penis in my rectum direct them. It nearly killed him. U. I didn't let him know that I was awake, and I turned over and it came out when I let him know. I woke up. We dressed and went out to New Orleans Airport and worked on the planes and something up
to the building. Captain Ferry told us a few days or weeks later that he was going to move to Atherton Drive and he asked me to help him move. Al Landry, one of the boys in Civil Air Patrol, helped us move Captain Ferry. On the day we moved, and Captain Ferry got some whiskey and we went back to the apartment at Atherton Drive and Captain Ferry showed us some sex books. It was one of those you can buy at the news stand. Captain Ferry told us that we had to break in the new house and
everybody jerking off. We finished our drinks and something too drove and we two Al Andrew home and while we were riding home, capt'n Fairy and Al asked why we didn't jerk off tonight and break in the house. It was about twelve thirty am, and cap'n Faery asked said that it was too late. We took Al home and then he took me home. I was having a few arguments with my father and Captain Ferry tried to straighten
out the trouble. After he moved into his house on Atherton Drive, I spent the night over at his house and we went to bed together and he jerked me off and blew me. He put his mouth on my penis and came up and started kissing my neck, and he then went back down again. I left off my discharge in his mouth. This happened about three days or three days after he moved into the Atherton Drive address.
The following weekend, after he blew me, I remember, then Al share me ran away from home and Captain Ferry had me go back and something al Charemy's house to see if he could come home. And if he did come home, I was interested to get Al put him in a cab and see that. He went to the Captain's house, and from there the captain told me that he was going to send Cheermy to Corpus Christi, Texas.
Captain Ferry, Captain Fairy something told me that he has a friend in Houston who was who he was blowing, and this guy in Houston was blowing him. Couldn't be Jack Valente, couldn't We told him that this guy in Houston was married something. About six months ago, we had a party at Captain Fairy's house and some of the boys went home, and some of the boys stayed there. I was so drunk that I passed out. The next day.
When I went home, my parents were pretty mad because I hadn't told them where I was, and they had to call Captain Ferry about three am and find out where I was. About six months ago, I was at Captain Ferry's house and he showed me some pictures that showed sexual intercourse between male and females, and he had some between two men doing sixty nine together. He had some of those little comic books showing people having sexual intercourse.
As I remember, was Snuffy Smith, the traveling salesman. The babysitter and others see see I told we were just talking about this on Days zero. The people have been freaky forever. Okay, people have been fucking the babysitter forever in their fucking pornos. This is how it goes. There's nothing new going on. Also, he also had some movie film sixteen millimeter projector, but told me that the reason he couldn't show them to me is because the films
were broken. I looked at the film and held it up to the light and I could see people having sexual intercourse, a man going down on a woman and a woman going down on a man. The place the film was kept when I saw it was in his laboratory on Atherton Drive. I think laboratory is located in his garage, and he also has a study room from the garage and you have to pull a ladder down from the ceiling. I also saw this film when he
was living on Airline Park Boulevard. We had a party at Captain Ferriy's home one night and we were playing football in his house. We were up in the bedroom and he said lighton. Martin's were in bed and both Mark March I can't see what that says, it looks like March, but it doesn't make any sense. And I were, oh, Marsh, Marsh, there we go. Marsha and I were crashing late in the bed and it broke and Captain Ferry punched me in the side of the face. And some of the
boys told me later that I was knocked out. And this is parts Q and A. How many boys do you think Captain Ferry has corrupted since you have known him? At least ten, there were no twenty, at least twenty. There were fifty kids in the squadron, including girls. Many of the kids had not drank much before joining the squadron. Do you think Captain Fairy's squadron was on the level? Do you think Captain Ferry was giving you the proper training in civil air patrol work? The whole squadron was
not handled right. He didn't teach us what he was supposed to. One time, I knew that I had flung to test, but I passed it. I know that there was something going wrong. And is his statement Truman korrect? He says yes, and he signs it very interesting stuff. Huh. All right, We've got a couple more minutes, so let's
continue on for now. New Orleans Chapter of the Military Order of World Wars held its regular meeting at Lafont's Boulevard, Room fifty two thirty six Canal Boulevard, July twenty fourth, sixty one. The meeting was called to order at nineteen hundred hours. This is probably one of those things that he spoke at that he got in trouble for Presiding Rear Admiral T. J. Ryan Jr. Pledge, Captain Gail Schneidoh Junior Preamble, Captain Francis Grevenburg Invocation, Colonel Lansing L. Mitchell.
The Commander called for the introduction of guests and roll call, and welcomed one new member present and attending the meeting for the first time, and explained to him the purpose and object of the Order. There were seventy members and five guests present. In the absence of the Adjudant, Colonel Frank Spies. Spiss Or Spies read the minutes of the previous meeting and the membership approval. The minutes as read.
The Treasurer's report for the month of June was read, showing a cash balance of one oh five seven oh six as of thirtieth of June sixty one. There being no objection, the report of the Treasurer was received and filed. Commander Ryan reported for the chairman of the American Committee at the Times Picking Units accepted the fly of the United States flag campaign obtained three thousand flags and will run a large add in the paper on August sixth,
sixty one. The target day to have everyone possible fly the flag is Veteran's Day, November eleventh. The rest of this is just normal, like meeting minute stuff. Doesn't seem to have any relevance to what we're talking about. Okay, let me continue on. I'll skip the next paragraph. The speaker of the evening, Captain David W. Ferry, Senior pilot Eastern Airlines, spoke on Cuba April nineteen sixty one, Present
and future. At the opening of his presentation, he indicated his talk would be controversial, when partly through the presentation, the Commander Rose apologized for interrupting the speaker and told him the tenor of his remarks up to that point were contrary to the preamble and objectives for which the Military Order of the World Wars stands, and that if he wished to speak, he could not speak as our guest speaker, but as a private citizen and to the
members present as private citizens. After a German of the meeting, Captain Fery determined he would stop his presentation, Commander Ryan then formally adjourned the meeting in accordance with the prescribed ritual at twenty one hundred hours. So pretty interesting stuff. See that meeting in particular is fairly well known. It was talked about in the JFK movie and it comes up a couple times in the investigation of his background. And the reason it's important is because it's a character
building thing, right. Character building is as an important aspect of investigations as the details of whatever crime you're investigating, if not more important. All right, what is this report of investigation? Date February fifteen sixty three, subject David William Ferry synopsis The most Reverend Marsha Christopher I was from
probably one of the churches. M Stanley, Archbishop Metropolitan Apostoly Orthodox Old Catholic Church of North America, Louisville, Kentucky, advised that on the occasion of being asked to consecrate David
William Ferry as a bishop in the churches above. He Stanley learned from a friend the fairy had been accused of committing overt acts of unnatural sexual behavior, and on the basis of this information, Stanley refused to perform consecration ceremony, and on the basis of the same information, later took the initiative to excommunicate Ferry from the church. Details of
the investigation. This investigation was prompted by receipt of a letter dated February seventh, sixty three from mister Charles Carson, Manager New Orleans Office, Southern Research Company, Inc. Connected to Eastern Airlines eight to eight Maritime Building, New Orleans twelve, Louisiana,
requesting information concerning action taken by Chancellor's Office. Holy Catholic Apostolic Church, Sacred Congregation of the Consistory Patriarchy of Antioch Church of North America six h three blah blah blah,
blah blah and all the blah blah blahs. On February fifteenth, nineteen sixty three, I interviewed the Most Reverend Maria Christopher C. J. M. Stanley, who further identified himself as Archbishop Metropolitan of Apostolic Orthodox Old Catholic Church of North America with headquarters on Broadway
in Louisville, Kentucky. Blah blah blah skip that. Reverend Stanley told me that this religious organization, as stated above, was an offshoot of the Roman Catholic Church and was completely independent and in no way affiliated officially with the Roman Catholic Church. It's a fake church, totally fake church. He further said his particular independent order had its origin in Germany. He also referred to an act of affiliate in Canada
based out of some lawyer's office. Right The dwelling at four twenty to six West Broadway, Louisville serves as its headquarters for the order and is also used as his residence and as a small section designated as a chapel
where he holds services. Yeah bullshit. Reverend Stanley was told the purpose of my visit in that it concerned the personality of David William Ferry, and in particular the origin of the letter emanating from sources considered to be that of his office as a high official of the Church of which Ferry was also affiliated, from which he was excommunicated.
References were made to a letter dated January ninth, sixty two from the Chancellor's Office, Province of North America, six oh three Cecil Avenue, Louisiana, eleven Kentucky, which advised that Fairy was degraded and cast out of the clergy and Church in America. Reverend Stanley informed me that he wrote
the letter referred to above as is. It was sent to the office of Eastern Airlines in New Orleans for the purpose of requesting the return of certain church property that was issued to Ferry as an official of the church and that was used in conducting services and business
of the church. Reverend said that he mentioned the reason for requesting the return of the property is that it was necessary due to the excommunication of Fairy from the church for reasons of alleged acts of unnatural sexual relations
imposed upon children. Reverend Stanley said that he learned of Ferry through the right most Reverend Monsieur Jean s. Martin, Bishop to the Apostolic Orthodox Old Catholic Church of North America, whose addresses thirteen eleven North Prior Street, New Orleans, Louisiana. Prior Street didn't that come up earlier? Prior Street didn't
come up earlier. Maybe attached to one of them license plates Reverend Stanley said that Reverend Martin was ordained as a priest by Stanley in June ninth of nineteen sixty and was later ordained as a bishop by Stanley. Anybody can be a bishop, huh. Reverend Martin and Ferry were friends, and Martin was instrumental in affecting Fairy's official role in the church. According to the Reverend Stanley, Martin performed the necessary ceremonies in making Fairry a subdeacon, deacon and priest
of the church. It was Martin who requested Reverend Stanley to consecrate Fairry as a bishop. Upon being requested to perform the ceremony of consecrating Faerry as a bishop, Reverend Stanley made some inquiries concerning the character and reputation of Fairry, and learned from a mister George Wallace, whom Stanley had known through the veterans of foreign Wars, that Ferry had been accused of unnatural sexual behavior and had been fired
by Eastern airlines. This aroused the suspicion of Stanley, and he called the superintendent name not recalled, but thought to be of German descent. Stanley tried while I was talking to him to obtain the name of the person from Louisville office of Eastern Airlines, but to no avail of the Eastern Airline offices in Louisville, and confirmed the report that Ferry had been discharged as an employee. Wallace's address was not available from Stanley. Ferry, accompanied by Martin, arrived
in Louisville No. Number thirtieth sixty one for the purpose of being consecrated as a bishop of the church. Stanley indicated his unwillingness to comply and voice disapproval of the personal behavior of Fairy as reported to him. Stanley told Ferry they intended to excommunicate him from the church for reasons of becoming of being unbecoming the church officials. This aroused anger on the part of both Ferry and Martin.
Stanley said that when Ferry arrived in Louisville that he appeared to be groomed rather particularly especially since he was wearing a wig that was something on with Scotch and it was fastened on with Scotch brand tape. Stanley also said that Martin had been keen to use devious methods, and when queried by me as to this, Stanley said that he Martin at times had carried a gun. Martin is reported to have been an investigator for mister Ooh,
Jack Jermillion. Is that the right name? Jack Germillion is what it looks like, j R. M I L. L I A. An Attorney of General of Louisiana. That name you're probably looked into, all right, and that it says continue, but then it cuts off. Let me see if it picks up again here. No, it doesn't, so we will call it here for today. This is a good place to leave off, and we will pick back up, continuing on with his Eastern Islands investigation. It's a David Ferry.
