Speaker 1

Good morning everybody. Corey Hughes bloody history. So we're continuing on today with the David Ferry File. This is going to be a David Ferry File two, Section one, Part one, and it's going to start off with a memorandum March ninth, nineteen sixty seven to al Oser Executive Assistant District Attorney from Sergeant Tom Duffy and Officer CJ. Navarre. Reference interview of Charles Holliday residing seven thirteen Herald Street, Algiers, Louisiana.

March seventh, nineteen sixty seven, at seven thirty pm, Officer Navarre interviewed a mister Charles Holiday. This interview was conducted by phone at three six two, five oh eight seven. Mister Holliday stated that he was a member of the CAP the New Orleans Airport Squadron from nineteen fifty four and I teen fifty six. In nineteen fifty sixty he

went on active duty with the US Air Force. Mister Holliday related that he knew David Ferry from being a member of the CAAP, further that Faerry was a weird character he heard the late. He heard that later mister Ferry was within Airlines the only thing that stood out was the fact that Ferry mentioned several times that he had a drug or combination of drugs that he could take, and no doctor could say he didn't die in natural death.

Mister Holliday related that he also never did personally see David Ferry mix any drugs, also that he has never gone to Dave Ferry's house. Mister Holliday stated that five or six boys were close to Ferry, and one of them was Tommy Bowman, who was present at who at the present time is not residing in New Orleans and it's unknown where he is. Also a Mister Penegwy, p E n E. G u Y, Charlie Robertson, and Phil Cousins, who had a brother by the name of Pete Cousins.

Charlie Robertson is a captain in the US Navy and stationed in California at this time. The Cousin brothers may be residing here in New Orleans. It is unknown where mister Peneguy is now residing. Mister Holliday stated that most of the group he was connected with and cap resigned at the same time in nineteen fifty six and entered various branches of the Armed Forces. Mister Holliday stated that Miss Durr d u r R would have pictures of the entire group because she was always there when they

were on maneuvers or inspections. Miss Durr d u r R was the commanding officer of the Female CAAP. Captain Ferry would tell them that they were training for guerrilla warfare because this was the most effective way to take over a country. The group had rifles to train with that had led poured into the barrels. Mister Holliday stated that Captain Ferry resided on Clay Street in Kenner during

the time he was with the CAAP. Further that some of the boys, especially Tommy Bowman, would go to his home. Further that at this time Captain Ferry had a Stintson Voyager aircraft in running condition. Further that he thinks this aircraft was wrecked by a hurricane in nineteen fifty seven or nineteen fifty eight. That's kind of a blurry header in this document. I can't really tell what it's what.

The header says, got an address, New Orleans, Louisiana, November twenty fourth to twenty ninth, nineteen sixty three investigation made by Special Agent Anthony E. Garrett's Special Agent in charge John W. Rice Lee Harvey Oswald assassination of President Kennedy. So this is an FBI document synopsis. Investigation disclosed that information furnaced by Jack s Martin to the effect that David William Ferry associated with Lee Harvey Oswald at New Orleans and trained Oswald in the use of a rifle

with a telescopic lens. Also that Ferry had visited Dallas several weeks prior to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy is without foundation. Jack s Martin, who has the appearance of being an alcoholic, as the reputation locally of furnishing incorrect information to law enforcement officers, attorneys, et cetera.

Details of investigation. At five pm on eleven, twenty four to sixty three, Donald Mitchell, fifteen oh one and a half General Taylor Street, New Orleans, rear basement apartment, called at the office and was interviewed by Reporting Agent. Mister Mitchell stated that he shares this apartment with one J.

Phillip Stein aka Jerry. Mister Mitchell advised also that the telephone in this apartment is in the name of Hermann S. Coleman, Assistant District Attorney, Parish of Orleans, New Orleans, Louisiana, for the reason that mister Coleman formally shared the apartment with j. Phillip Stein, but that Coleman recently married and moved from the apartment. The telephone in question is twin Brook one

Dash six, seven oh three. During the interview with mister Mitchell, he stated that sometime during the afternoon of Sunday eleven twenty four to sixty three, Jerry Stein answered the telephone in their apartment and the person calling was endeavoring to contact Hermann Coleman, explaining to Stein that the reason he was trying to get in touch with Coleman was that Coleman had written a story about an individual known as Ferry, and that Ferry was a hypnotist and had either taught

or had something to do with Oswald being taught how to use rifles with a telescopic lens, also indicating that Ferry had a collection of rifles. The caller also informed Stein that Ferry had been in Dallas about two weeks prior to eleven twenty four to sixty three, and that Ferry had been corresponding with Oswald. According to mister Mitchell, the person making his telephone call said his name was Jack. No last name given. An asterisk next to that paragraph,

and it says Jack Martin in handwriting. Subsequent to the interview at Donald Mitchell, several attempts were made to contact Hermann s Coleman. At eleven PM on eleven, twenty four to sixty three, a telephone call was received from J. Phillip Stein. He said he did not know Jack's last name. Stated that the FBI had been investigating Ferry several weeks prior to eleven, twenty four to sixty three. Ferry said to be an airplane pilot and allegedly has flown supplies

to Cuba. Stein stated that Jack told him that Ferry was said to have been in Dallas several weeks previously, further that Ferry is allegedly a homosexual. Stein stated that he was told by Jack that Ferry had been training some civil Air Patrol boys in the use of foreign made arms and allegedly trained Oswald in the use of a rifle. Stein stated that Ferry is said to be rather intelligent, that he allegedly had a PhD degree and

as a hypnotist. He said that Herman s Coleman, a forman newspaper a former newspaper reporter, had written a story about Ferry about two years ago, and that the story had appeared in The Times Picky Union, a New Orleans morning paper. Stein stated that according to Jack, Ferry is alleged to have been communicating with Oswald and that both were allegedly engaged in the same type of work. He said that Ferry was believed to be living in the

Louisiana Avenue Parkway Avenue Parkway area, New Orleans. At eleven ten pm on eleven, twenty four to sixty three, reporting agent received a telephone call from Herman s. Colemany said that he was an assistant District attorney for the Parish of Orleans and that he was calling from the District Attorney's office. It was apparent that mister Coleman was reluctant

to talk about Ferry. Finally stated, however, that the District Attorney's office was conducting an investigation on their own with regard to Ferry, and that Ferry is actually David Ferry, White male, forty two, one hundred and ninety five, five foot eleven wears a wig, having suffered loss of hair in blotches. He said that Ferry has a record at the New Orleans Police Department Bureau of Identification, that he'd been arrested several times and charged with moral offenses involving

young boys. He said that Ferry at one time lived on Atherton Drive in Metorie, Louisiana, a suburb of New Orleans. Mister Coleman stated that at the time of his telephone conversation with his office, had ten police officers investigated for the District Attorney's office scouring the city for David Ferry, and that in the event Ferry was picked up, he would notify me. No request was made of mister Coleman that Ferry be picked up and held for this service.

At twelve thirty five am on eleven twenty five to sixty three, Assistant District Attorney Hermanes Coleman telephoned the reporting agent at his residence, at which time he advised that he had received information to the effect that I'm confused. I thought Coleman was a was an article writer, was

a newspaperman, not a district attorney. So oh oh, well, I'll continue on, at which time he advised that he had received information to the effect that David William Ferry had left for Dallas on Friday eleven, twenty two sixty three during the afternoon, traveling in a light blue Comet. He also advised that Ferry reportedly had a plane and may still have it. He said that at the time of his telephone conversation with me, Ferry was alleged on

his way back to New Orleans. Mister Coleman stated that it was his information that Harvey Lee Oswald was in Fairies Civil Air Patrol Group in New Orleans. I need to point that out. It says here in text Harvey Lee Oswald. Mister Coleman stated that it was his information that Harvey Lee Oswald was in Ferry's Civil Air Patrol Group in New Orleans some years ago, that Ferry allegedly had a fraudulent charter, and that the Civil aeron Nauts

Board check on it. When pressed for all for the full name of the informant thus far referred to only as Jack, mister Coleman stated that he was just a fellow who worked around the police headquarters building, and that Jack did not want to become involved in this investigation and for that reason did not want his name mentioned in any way. Mister Coleman was informed that Jack would have to be interviewed in person by representatives of this service.

During the late afternoon of eleven, twenty five, sixty three, Special Agent in Charge Rice received a telephone call from Herman S. Coleman, advising that David Ferry had been picked up by representatives of the New Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office and that he was being questioned in the District Attorney's office at that time. Mister Coleman informed Special Agent in Charge Rice that Ferry would shortly be brought to the First District Police Station where he would be booked.

At approximately seven pm on eleven twenty five sixty three, Special Agent in Charge Rice and reporting Agent interviewed David William Fie White, male forty six, dated birth three, eighteen eighteen, at Cleveland, Ohio, five eleven one ninety ready complexion, brown eyes, Where's dark brown, kinky wig with a reddish tint, false upper tooth. Resides at three three three zero Louisiana Avenue Parkway, New Orleans, former address three three to one Atherton Drive, Metaie, Louisiana.

Ferry stated that he had lived at one seven three oh two Laverne and six eight zero one Pear Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio. David William Ferry stated that when he was employed by Eastern Airlines, he flew mostly to Houston, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and Brownsville, and various intermediate points. That he sometimes flew to New York via Atlanta and Washington. Fairy insisted that he was in New Orleans on Thursday, November twenty first, nineteen sixty three and on Friday, November

twenty second, nineteen sixty three until about nine pm. He said that he is positive that he was in New Orleans on the dates mentioned because he had been in court in connection with a trial involving Carlos Marcello. He stated that he departed for New Orleans about nine pm on eleven, twenty two sixty three and drove to Houston in Galveston, Texas with two companions, Alvin boboof about nineteen or twenty years old of two four two seven Alvar Street.

Oswald used to live on Alvar Street when he was When he was born New Orleans and Melvin Coffee, about twenty six to twenty eight years old, six eighteen North Pierce Street, New Orleans, that he was driving a nineteen sixty one blue Comet ford Or station wagon with nineteen sixty three Louisiana license, having bought the car from Delta Mercury, Inc. Twenty two oh one Canal Street, New Orleans, about three

or four weeks previously. Charles Graham, salesman Ferry, stated that he and his two companions mentioned above, returned to New Orleans about nine thirty pm on eleven twenty four to sixty three, and that he telephoned attorney g Ray Gill, by whom he is employed as an investigator, several times, that at Gill's suggestion, he left New Orleans about midnight the same date and drove to Hammond, Louisiana alone, where he stayed at the Holloway Smith Hall on Sycamore Street

at the Southeastern Louisiana College, where he has a friend Thomas Compton, who does research in narcotics addiction under a doctor Nichols under federal grant. He said he left Hammond about one pm on eleven, twenty five, sixty three. That

would be Sunday and arrived New Orleans about three PM. Then, immediately upon arriving at New Orleans, he contacted Attorney Gill, who accompanied him to the Orleans Parish District Attorney's office, where he was wanted for questioning in connection with the Oswald case. During the interview with Ferry by Special Agent in Charge Rice and myself, he stated that he left New Orleans on ten eleven sixty three via Taca Airlines for Guatemala and had returned via the same line, arriving

New Orleans on ten eighteen sixty three. He stated that he again left New Orleans on ten thirty sixty three via Taca Airlines for Guatemala, returning via the same route, arriving New Orleans on November one, sixty three. Ferry indicated that he had made those trips to Guatemala for Attorney g Ray Gill, and that the trips involved some investigative work having to do with the Carlos Marcello case. David William Ferry emphatically denied that he had been in Dallas

for the last eight to ten years. As the interview with David William Ferry was about to end, he stated that he had a very good idea who had reported him as having associated with Oswald training him in the use of rifles with telescopic lenses, etc. That he was firmly convinced that one Jack S. Martin, he resides at the corner of Esplanade Avenue and North Pryor Street, had

made this false report concerning him. He stated that Martin makes a practice of hanging around the offices of various attorneys, courtrooms, et cetera, and is well known locally for furnishing false leads to law enforcement officers, attorneys, et cetera. Subsequent to our interview with Ferry on the night of eleven twenty five, sixty three, he was interviewed by FBI agents at the First District Police station. On eleven twenty six, sixty three.

It was learned the FBI agents had talked with Jack S. Martin, who admitted that he had been the informant with regard

to David William Ferry. That Martin had admitted to FBI agents that the information which he furnished Assistant District Attorney Coleman was a figment of his imagination and that he had made up the story after reading the newspapers and watching television, that he remembered that Coleman, a former newspaper reporter, had written an article or story about Ferry a couple of years ago, and that he pieced the whole thing together in his mind and had given it to Coleman

as fact. On the night of eleven, twenty nine sixty three, especially Agent in Charge Rice and Reporting Agent interviewed Jack S. Martin at length in his small, run down apartment located at one three to one one North Prior Street in New Orleans, which he shares with his wife and six year old son. Where's that interview? They're just acknowledging it's an FBI interview, So where the fuck is it? Where

the fuck is it? Martin, who has every appearance of being an alcoholic, admitted during the interview that he suffers from telephonitis when drinking, and that it was during one of his drinking sprees that he telephoned Assistant District Attorney Herman S. Coleman and told him this fantastic story about William David Ferry being involved with Lee Harvey Oswald. He said he had heard on television that Oswald had at one time been active in the Civil Air Patrol and

later heard that Ferry had been his squadron commander. Martin stated that Ferry was well known to him, and that he recalled having seen rifles in Ferry's home, and also recalled that Coleman had written an article on Ferry, and that Ferry had been a marine and that had been with the Civil Air Patrol. Martin stated that after turning all those thoughts over in his mind, he had telephoned hermin S Coleman and told in this story as though

it was based on fact rather than his imagination. In view of the above, this phase of the investigation involving William David Ferry will be considered closed. Well, that's interesting, right, So just because Jack Martin's crazy, they're dismissing the entire fairy thing. That's what it says right here in black

and white, right in front of me. In view of the above, this phase of the investigation involving William David Ferry will be considered closed undeveloped LEADS case remains open at New Orleans pending submission of several additional reports covering investigation thus for conducted, after which the case will be closed. Here and investigation discontinued in accordance with the Chief's instructions. The chief's instructions, so the Chief is closing this thing

down on David Ferry. Next Document FBI November twenty seventh, nineteen sixty three. Frank Karachi, co owner Club five hundred, five hundred Bourbon Street, advised that he never met Jack Lee on Ruby, but was aware of the fact that Ruby was in New Orleans looking for dancers in about June nineteen sixty three, at about the time Jeanette Conforto was completing her engagement at the show Bar club on

Bourbon Street. Karachi recalled that one night, probably in June, he and Nick Carno, his partner, were in his office when his night manager at Cleve Dougas, came into the office and said there was a man who ran the Carousel Club in Dallas out in front who wanted to talk to Karachi about hiring some dancers. He told Dugas to tell this man that he knew of no dancers available other than Conforto. He told Dugas to tell this person to go to the show bar and talk to Conforto.

Karachi stated that neither he nor Carno met this individual, and that he had concluded that this individual was actually Ruby since he has read in the newspapers and heard on television that Ruby operated the Carousel Club. Karachi said he did not know Lee Harvey Oswald and had never heard of him before the assassination of the president November twenty seventh, nineteen sixty three. Looks like a new document.

Alfred Pecoraro, twelve oh five North Rampart Street, student at Louisiana State University, New Orleans, advised that he's publicity chairman of the New Orleans Council for Peaceful Alternatives and Sounds Like Communism, and as a member of the Socialist Study Group in New Orleans, which meets regularly at various locations throughout the city. He said the last meeting of the New Orleans Council for Peaceful Alternatives was in June of

nineteen sixty three. Pecoraro among his acquaintances are William Edwin Clark, Lionel Hampton, Mitchell, John d Bass, Bill Hogan, Robert Hoffman, and Dave Hoffman. Pecoraro described Dave Hoffman as a political He said the others generally traveled in the same circles as he does Pecoraro in parentheses. He noted that Hoffman last year was editor of the Reed at Tulane University. He stated Hoffman resides on Decatur Street, New Orleans, in

the area of Esplanade Avenue. Pecoraro advised he was certain that he never attended a meeting of any group contemporarily with Lee Harvey Oswald. He examined Oswald's photograph and stated that he could not say that he has ever seen this man in person. Pecoraro advised he most certainly had never attended any gathering where assassination of presidents was discussed, and that any group with which he has associated advocates peace,

and that he would not sit through such discussions. Went to President Kennedy's death, Pecoraro had a discussion with Lionel Hampton Mitchell about Oswald, and Mitchell likewise stated that he had never seen Oswald on any occasion in New Orleans. Another FBI document, November twenty ninth, nineteen sixty three, jesse R Corr the third three h two two Saint Charles Avenue. Jesse Corr involved in the chain of events that got

Oswald on television. A pr man at the Trademark. He stated that he was presently director of the jesse R Core Public Relations Firm located in Room two eleven International Trademark one three four Camp Street, New Orleans, Louisiana, and added that he was also presently doing public relations political work for his client, Robert F. Kennan, candidate for governor State of Louisiana. I see. He stated that, Okay, I

gotta point this out. This has to be like one of those injection points for when the CIA gets involved at the political level. Right, So, jesse Corr works for his own PR firm inside the Trademark building. He's a close associated Clayshaw. Clayshaw clearly CIA CIA tend to only associate with CIA for the most part, especially in a

professional setting. So if Jesse Corr CIA and he's handling the campaign for governor, it means the CIA approves of this governor, it is pushing for him to get elected. So it seems like that's probably the case in every election in every local jurisdiction period. He stated that some time during the middle of the month in September nineteen sixty three, when he was conferring with political associates at

the Roosevelt Hotel, New Orleans, Louisiana. He heard a rumor that someone was picketing the International trademark and telephoned radio station WDSU to inquire if the trademark was being picketed.

He stated that he was informed that it had been reported that pickets were located at this mart, and Corr added that he was aware that this mart had previously been picketed by extremist groups, the names of which groups he had never been made aware, but explained that to his knowledge, they were small groups of males, but predominantly females, who picketed both City Hall and International House at New Orleans, as these buildings had displayed the United Nations flag, good

for them for picketing. Corr stated that he immediately went over to this mart to see what was going on and noted that this location to persons who appeared to be handing out leaflets bearing the notation hands Off Cuba and stamped with the name L. H. Oswald forty nine

oh seven Magazine Street, New Orleans, Louisiana. He stated, at this location he immediately conferred with a friend of his and trademarked associate named John Alice, owner of the John Alice and Company Import Export Firm International Trademark one twenty

four Camp Street, New Orleans, Louisiana. He stated that Alice showed him a handbill similar to the one described above, and Kor added that he was so angered with the entire idea of someone passing out such handbills that he immediately wadded the handbill up and threw it in the face of the person passing out such handbills. Corr stated, in addition, he cursed this individual and called him a communist.

Kor explained that the person at whom he threw this handbill moved his head slightly and did not speak to him,

but gave him a cold and icy stare. Corus stated that on this occasion he did not know the name of this individual, but explained that without any doubt, this individual was directing the activities on this occasion at the Trademartin further explained that it was not until November twenty second, nineteen sixty three, when Lee Harvey Oswald's picture appeared on television, that he was aware that the individual who was passing out these handbills on this occasion was identical with Lee

Harvey Oswald. He advised that neither prior to this occasion nor subsequent to it, had seen this individual, with the obvious exception of seeing Oswald's picture on television in connection with the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. He described Oswald as being under thirty five foot eight inches tall, one hundred and fifty pounds, appearing frail, with his hair

thinning in front, and appearing dark but not black. Shortly after the above described incident, Corps stated he went to his office in the Trademark and while there received a telephone call from someone located at radio station WDSU who inquired of cor if a cameraman had arrived at the Trademark. So that's not how it went down. Corps contacted Corporan, not the other way around. How would Corporand have known

otherwise to send someone out there. Nobody fucking knew except for cor And in this line from god Day to corp and then to Corporan, right for whatever? These motherfucker's so full of shit. He stated that he informed the person who called from this station that while he was observing the activity at this location, a photographer from this

radio station was observed to be taking pictures. Korr was furnished copies of approximately six photographs taken by radio station WDSU on this occasion and picked out an individual from among persons represented in these photographs as identical with the individual he saw at the trademark during September nineteen sixty three, and added that this was the same individual was, in

his opinion, identical with Oswald. Core continued to examine the photographs referred to and picked out a white male described by Corer below as being an associate of Oswald's on this occasion, but added that he did not know the name of this individual. Korr added that as he recalled, only the two persons described were observed to him to pass out handbills on this occasion, and he stated that he saw no other person handing out these pamphlets among

the persons pictured in the photographs which Korr observed. He identified the file named persons and added that these individuals were present on that occasion as spectators of the activity at the trademark. Jay It says Ihara e Har, but it's probably Ebara, identified by COR's Japanese who operates an import export firm named Cosuga and Company Limited. On the third floor of the International Trademark one twenty four Camp Street,

New Orleans, Louisiana. John Alice owner John Allison Company, Import Export Firm, International Trademark Missus Isaac Dolores neely named by Corr as his former secretary and presently associated with the

New Orleans Press Group, New Orleans, Louisiana. Corr stated that he possibly observed the activity at this mart for twenty to twenty five minutes at the time in question, and added that since he thought this information might be useful to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, he then telephoned that organization and reported the nature of the activity described above. All right next one handwritten heading Ferry dated eleven, twenty

seven sixty three. David William Ferry was interviewed at his residence thirty three thirty Louisiana Avenue, Parkway and was advised of the identity of the interviewing agents. He was advised he did not have much to did not have to make a state much of a statement, but that any statement he did make could be used in court, and that he had the right to the advice of an attorney.

Ferry stated that at the time of the Bay of pigs invasion of Cuba, he was very embarrassed and concerned over the lack of air cover provided the Cubans who were engaged in the invasion, and that he severely criticized President John F. Kennedy, both in public and in private.

He stated that he does not recall specifically what he said in making these criticisms, and that he might have used an offhand or colloquial expression like he ought to be shot to express his feelings concerning the Cuban situation. He stated that he has never made any statement that President Kennedy should be killed with the intention that this be done, and has never at any time outlined or formulated any plans or made any statement as to how

this could be done or who should do it. Ferry stated that when it came to serious discussions when the question of impeachment of President Kennedy arose, he opposed any impeachment proceedings. Ferry said that within a year prior to the first Russian spotnik, he recalls being quite critical of the US space project and the defense program. He said he had also been critical of any president riding in an open car, and it made the statement that anyone

could hide in the bushes and shoot a president. Ferry also advised that he has been accused of being a worshiper of President Kennedy because he is a liberal and strongly believes in President Kennedy's civil rights program and fiscal program. Ferry stated he's never loaned his library card to Lee, Harvey Oswald or any other person at any time, and that his library card, to the best of his recollection, has not been out of his possession since it was

u who was issued to him. He exhibited New Orleans Public Library card number m L eight nine four thretey seven, bearing the stamped lettering n RPD in the upper left hand corner. Ferry said that the letters and R meant non resident and the letters P D meant paid. He related that at the time he obtained this library card, he was living in Metairie, Louisiana, and had to pay

for the issuance of the card. The library card shows it was issued in the name of doctor David Ferry three thirty one Atherton Drive, and an expiration data is shown as March thirteenth, nineteen sixty three. Ferry stated he has no recollection of knowing or having met Lee Harvey Oswald in the Civil Air Patrol or in any business

or social capacity. So that's not really too far outside of the realman possibility because Ferry had been doing the Civil Air Patrol stuff for years and Oswald was a shy kid who just hung out with ed Va Belle and he only went like three four times, if even that. So for Fairy to say he had no recollection of him makes a lot of sense. And I do not believe he interacted with Oswald in New Orleans in sixty

two or sixty three at all. Zero evidence for it. None. Oh, there's a bunch of hearsay that doesn't have any corroboration. Fairy stated he's never owned a telescopic site, a rifle equipped with a telescopic site, has never used a weapon equipped with a telescopic site, and does not know how to use one. He also said has never instructed Lee Harvey Oswald or anyone else in the use of American

made or foreign made rifles or firearms. Ferry said that while in the Civil Air Patrol, he assisted in firearms instruction at Civil Air Patrol Bivouax for range safety only. Ferry claimed he has owned a Stintson one fifty blue and white single engine four passenger monoplane registration eight two nine three K, and that displane has not been airworthy since the license expired in the spring of sixty two. Fairry stated he's never flownly Harvey Oswald to Dallas or

any other place in Texas at any time. He said that the plane would have access only planes he'd have access to would be rental planes. Hmm. Okay, So this next one another FBI document, the Harvey Oswald assassination, President Kennedy, Special Agent Garretts, and John Rice again. Okay, more stuff on the Jerry Stein phone calls. We've already gone over this. I can skip over this stuff. They do that a

lot in some of these documents. Lots and lots of duplication. Okay, we're back to another document, factual background for reasons stated and discharge of Captain Ferry. I think this is just an update to the previous outline of offenses he had committed and been no prosse. So let's go over one

more time. During sixty one and sixty two, the following criminal charges were brought against Captain Ferry and Orleans and Jefferson Parish based on sworn affidavids and complaining witnesses in Orleans extortion NOL prost January fourth, public intimidation of state witness. That's the Cruchet stuff. I think the cruche stuff should be coming up. We'll get to it at some point. That was NOL prost January fourth, and Crimes against Nature

no prost November fifth, sixty two. Jefferson Parish. Indecent behavior with a juvenile contributing to delincncy of a minor all nol pross November fifth. And then there's no listing on what this charge here is, but there's another one one O three to oh eight it just is not guilty February twenty third, sixty two. And then two or charges unknown no prost No number fifth sixty two. So those are whole slew of charges, mostly around the David Ferry

interactions with Al Landry Eric Cruche. And there's one more L and not al bobof he hung out with like three different fucking l's. The following information, which should have been revealed in the application for employment or on the pre employment physical examination forms, were discovered during the investigation. We've already gone over this all the lists of stuff. He was refused to allow Fairry to continue in the

seminary because of emotional instability. Emotional instability is code words for he was a pedophile. Faerry was treated for his mental problems by A. K. Gardner and Wilford Gille of Cleveland. After above treatment, Ferry reapplied Saint Charles and was refused. Yeah, we covered all this stuff all right. Next one we have looks like a Jim Garrison document, a memorandum on Ferry, Sergeant T. Duffy as from Sergeant T. Duffy and Detective C. Navarre,

probably of the police Department. Interview of Mike Finnie residing at fourteen eighteen Berman in Algiers, Louisiana, telephone three sixty one, five eight five seven, March six sixty seven. Mister Finnie was interviewed in regard to his connection with Silvil Air Patrol. Mister Finney stated that he joined the CAP in fifty eight and was in the New Orleans Airport Squadron. This was the first time he had met David Ferry. He was also in the original Falcon squadron that David Ferry

had formed. There were originally about ten men in this outfit. He stated that he remained in the Falcon Squadron until about sixty one, when he found out that this was not a valid branch of the CAP. Mister Finney stated that while he was connected with the CAAP, he never met Oswald or never heard his name mentioned. He also stated that mister Larry Atkinson was a friend of Dave

Ferry's at this time. He also stated that of mister al Cheremy, that's al Cheremi al Andre was in the New Orleans Squadron and that he was a very close friend of David Ferries. It is his recollection that al Jeremy joined the Marine Corps in the summer of sixty two. He also stated that he knew a Johnny Johnson who was a member of the squadron at the time, and that Johnson, as far as he knew it, was a student at Tulane University. He stated that Johnson lived somewhere

either in Los Angele, in Algiers or Gretna. He may live on Newton Street. Finney stated that a Major Morell was the head of the CAP New Orleans Squadron and that he was also a very good friend of Fairies. He also stated that Johnny Johnson's mother had told him that Ferry helped Morel a number of times with many problems. At this time, Morel was a shoe salesman in New Orleans, and it is his understanding that Morrell left New Orleans

and is staying somewhere in Texas. He stated that on occasions when he was in the CAP he stayed overnight at David Ferries's house. Johnny Johnson and Al Jeremy also stayed at David Ferriyes's house overnight. He stated that A Bob Boyleston was a cad at commander in the CAAP and he was also a good friend of Fairies, as were John Rion and Al Landry. It is mister Finney's understanding that Dave Ferry had a disagreement with Major Morrell, and at this time Ferry broke away from the New

Orleans Squadron and formed the Falcon Squadron. While in this office, Finny was showing pictures of Oswalt clay Shawguy Banister, and several others, and he could identify only Dave Ferry. All right, that brings us to the end of that section. We're going to start on David Ferry File two, Section two another memo. August first, nineteen sixty one. Oh, it's a letter, okay.

So David Ferry gets in trouble at Eastern Airlines for being a pedophile, and Sergei Arcacia also known as Sergi Arcacia Smith, he writes a letter to Eastern Airlines and he tries to get David Ferry out of trouble. This other also other times, and I think this is what

we're about to read. He tries to get David Ferry excused for like a month at a time in order to go on like some Cuban runs right, tries to get him out of work because Faerry is a guest, telling him he can't do it because he can't get out of work. So that appears what this is here in front of me, So let us continue. August first, sixty one, Mister Sergi Archaja Smith, Cuban Democratic Revolutionary Front

two seven Balter Building, New Orleans, Louisiana. Dear mister Smith, the request made in your letter of July sixteenth to Captain Rickenbacher has been given careful consideration. Unfortunately, we will be unable to give Captain Ferry a leave at this time for several reasons. In the first place, our flight crews are all badly needed at the present time due to the volume of our flight operations this time of year.

In addition to this fact, Eastern found it necessary several years ago to establish a policy of not granting leaves of absence without absence with pay for any political reason. This policy has been followed for many years, regardless of the company's sympathies for the political cause involved. I'm sorry we're unable to grant Captain Ferry a leave as requested. Yours sincerely, j R. Halliburton, Executive Vice President, Eastern Airlines CC do a whole bunch of people at Eastern Airlines.

This must be the original letter. The heading on it is a Cuban Democratic Revolutionary Front, New Orleans Delegate two O seven Balter Building, New Orleans, Louisiana. Captain Eddie V. Rickenbacker, Chairman of the Board, Eastern Airlines, Inc. New York, New York. Dear Captain Rickenbacker, as you know, the above organization is the provisional Cuban government until such time as Fidel Castro is expelled. It is on behalf of that organization that

this letter of request is written. It is requested that you send to us for two or three months. Your Captain David W. Ferry, let me explain this request, Okay. So I love it when he says this. He says, this is the provisional Cuban government until such time as Phil Castro is expelled. Like what he's saying is he's the fucking wan Guido of motherfucking Cuba way back in sixty one. This is hilarious. They never had a fucking chance. It was never the I don't think it was ever

their fucking plan to replace Castro. Ever, it looked so good for the CIA to have a communist off our shores. I mean, give me a break. The whole story we've been told is retarded. When the FRD was originally organized under the demands of the US government, the FRD was up front for the efforts of the CIA to reinstate democratic government in Cuba. The effort of April seventeenth failed, as you know. Thereafter the morale the Cubans in exile

and the underground within Cuba fell to zero. Then along came Captain Ferry. He strongly prodded our whole organization until it was revitalized. Thereafter, dissident elements were removed, fund collecting began, the underground was reorganized, and the reharrassment of Castro has begun. Efforts to unsee Castro have been proceeding along the paramilitary lines outlined by President Kennedy and within the framework of the US Neutrality Act. At this time, our efforts aren't

nearing a climax. When this climax is reached, the position of Castro should become rapidly untenable. Thereafter, our disruptions of certain imports have already created substantial unrest. We labor under and its kind of blurry and severe time handicap. It looks like at this time there are forty five MiG fifteen aircraft, forty five MiG seventeen, and we have seen three MiG nineteen. We are certain of two IRAM hard installations.

Numerous watercraft are held by Castro. The whole is to be aimed at the Republic of Panama in December, when the US is tied down in Berlin. Therefore, we must move intelligently with speed. Cubans must retake Cuba for the sake of all the Americas. The reinvigorating of our program was the result of the prodding of Captain Ferry and his associates here in New Orleans. Through him, we've been able to get the best advice in affairs political, economic,

and military. Further, he has helped us straighten other affairs. As a result, our organization is running smoother ever every day, and our operations have begun. In addition, Captain Ferry has been assisting in obtaining needed equipment. Likewise, he has been assisting in the handling of the refugees. Since events are approaching a climax, we sorely need his advice on a

day to day basis. Knowing your own often demonstrated patriotism, we are requesting that Captain Ferry be given either a sixty or ninety day leave with pay, so that the work at hand can be completed. At this time, he holds in his hands so many threads which pertain to the security of the Caribbean area that no reasonable substitution could be made. We hope that you will review this request with favor. Likewise, any other help or service service

which you may give us will be greatly appreciated. Signed Sergeia Arcocia Smith, Official Delicate front eight Revolutionario Democratico FRD. So I just love how he's straight up says here in this letter. When the FRD was originally organized under the demands of the US government, the FRD was to front for the efforts of the CIA to reinstate democratic government in Cuba. So just let the cat out of the bag. Why don't you all the way back in

nineteen sixty one. So I love when people say that they there's no evidence for the connection of the CIA to Ferry and his whole crew down in New Orleans. It's like, go, fuck your dumb self, It's ridiculous. This whole thing is CIA start to finish with some Office of Naval Intelligence lingering in the background. So let me see what they have next for us. No, next we

start to move into some of the church stuff. We have a letter from the Holy Catholic Apostolic Church, Sacred Congregation of the Consistory Patriarchy of Antioch, Government of India, Act twenty one of eighteen sixty AD Orthodox That sounds like a under bullshit, sounds like some Jack Martin stuff. But this is where we will pick up. I'm enjoying this.

We'll pick this up tomorrow. So I'll see you guys then. Also, I'm doing a lot more episodes of my bloody history World War II on substack, and so you still have a chance to get a free book if you sign up for a year of my substack, and so that's gonna do it for me, guys. I will see you guys tomorrow. H eight
