Episode description

Black Hollywood live host Katerina Cozias interviews Zachary S. Williams.

It is not often that at 16 years old one can say that they have had the privilege of acting alongside one of the world’s most respected women, Oprah Winfrey―unless you are Zachary S. Williams. Zachary plays ‘William,’ a youth raised in a dysfunctional home who is mentored by a local bar owner named ‘Mavis,’ played by Oprah, on the new OWN drama “Greenleaf.” Zachary’s character finds solace in playing the piano, a role enhanced because of his extraordinary talents as a musician. The show tells the story of the Greenleaf family and the secrets, lies and corrupt morals of their Memphis megachurch. Williams also co-hosts a local Tampa TV show “Rays Rookies;” a show designed to engage youth fans of the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team.
