Kaoru Ishibashi is a singer/songwriter, composer and classically trained violinist who has played with Regina Spektor and Of Montreal until forming Kishi Bashi. Kaoru joins Dwyer to talk about his journey from flunking out of engineering at Cornell, playing chess in the orchestra pit, drinking, GG Allin and making his way into the skinny white guy world of Indie Rock.
