Dennis Cunningham is a legend among civil rights lawyers. He sued the Chicago Police Department for the murder of Black Panther Fred Hampton, he fought a lawsuit on behalf of the inmates of Attica and he represented famed environmentalist Judi Bari when the FBI manipulated facts that lead her to be falsely charged as a terrorist.
