Episode description

Some of the most important people in my life have ties to New Orleans whether it's because they were born there or because they lived the bulk of their lives there. With Mardi Gras just ending, we see how many people come down here to party and dance with us, but how many of you would help New Orleans in the time of need? In this series, we are going to talk about the time New Orleans, and the people of Louisiana needed help the most and help came all too late. I'll be talking about what happened before, during, and after Hurricane Katrina. By the end of today's episode you'll be able to answer the question: Was New Orleans doomed from the start?
