In this conversation, Coach and I talk to past swimmer's Michelle Heitkemper, Sally Mills, and Laurie Dreyling. These three joined Coach in 1981, his first year at Tell City, and by the time they were Seniors, joined with Karen Ludwig, were on Coach's first state relay, the 400 Free Relay. These three formed the base of Coach's swim program at Tell City, from lifeguarding to teaching swim lessons and future swimmers how to swim, their impact lasted for years after they left.

Eric swam the 200 and 500 freestyles all four years of high school, but during Sectional his Senior year, Coach made a surprise move and pulled him from the 500 and put him in the 100 free where he placed 3rd. In this conversation, Coach and I talk to 2004 Tell City graduate, Casey Rapsky. Casey was a 3-month a year swimmer for Coach, but recently picked up the sport of triathlon. Last year she placed 6th at Ironman Chattanooga and was only 30min from nabbing a qualifying spot for the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. If you listened to the podcast with Beth Godthaab, Sheena was the Freshman who beat Beth in 200IM her Senior year.
