Episode description

The Toronto International Film Festival just concluded, this year the fest did a hybrid model offering both in person and digital screenings. We talk about the biggest news stories, who won the awards and review films we watched.

Read Rachel's review of Belfast.

Some digital screeners were leaked online, causing the festival scene to reevaluate the hybrid model.

No movies were sold during this year's TIFF.

Steven Soderbergh re-edited and re-released his 1991 Kafka, now called Mr. Kneff.

Alanis Morissette disowns the documentary Jagged that is about her.
