SQ1 2019 SPECIAL: Our next guest is Mardis Bagley, a Creative Director and Industrial Designer based in San Francisco. He creates products that connect user experiences with brand stories. He believes in a design process that creates sustainability through desire. By creating experiences that surprise and delight, he connects with users on a visceral level. During our conversation, we talked about how he got his start in design, and went from the Midwest to the Bay Area, having worked at Ammunition, Matter, and LUNAR. Mardis now works with his wife, partner, and designer Phnam Bagley at Nonfiction, a design studio specializing in industrial design, branding, strategy, and packaging.
