Episode description

Good afternoon, wartime Players! As you’ve surely noticed, the Russian invasion of Ukraine is bleak and worsening by the day. As it usually goes with these televised war events, we’re being fed a story of convenience by our corporate press: Putin is an evil dictator with nothing but death and destruction on his brain (brought to you by Applebee’s!). But is there more to it than this explanation as shallow as a James Bond movie plot? Could it have something to do with the United States’ murky past with Ukraine? Or with the nonstop expansion of NATO into old Soviet territory? Or our perpetual dick wagging contest with Russia? Sounds like something only a comedic television president turned real-life president could handle; good thing they’ve got one of those! Let’s dive into some recent history and see if we can uncover a more logical scenario that, at times, might even edge into tinfoil hat territory. As always, thanks for listening! Please like, subscribe, comment, and share with friends and enemies. Until next time, stay safe out there.
