Reporting Sexual Violence and the State

Welcome back to Consensual. Today, Reagan and Leah have a conversation over the school and police's involvement with cases of sexual violence. We break down some terms, and have a conversation about reporting, and how the current laws surrounding sexual violence play out for survivors, especially those under 18, and in the public school system. Looking at data from our 2021 consent survey, we reflect on how real people are affected by the legislation in place, and what options we have to make schools a safer space. Thank you for listening!
