Hello again, Welcome, It's Connoser's Corner. This is Jordan talking wine today with Ken Hoggins of Ken'swineguide dot com, the only guide you'll ever need as far as I'm concerned, Ken, with the summertime here just about You've got some suggestions for us.

Speaker 2

Yeah, as the weather gets warmer, I try to find ideal wines for summer, and I've got two winners here for your listeners. We'll start with the twenty twenty three Shardnay from Bob Holey. Bob is known for his top notch reds, but we'll start with this ninety two point summer styled Shardnay, which shows you can really make a

really good white wine as well. It was medium bodied, balanced, round fresh, got some saline and mild pineapple custard flavors in there, some KMMLT and almond, and i'd served as Shardnay slightly cool with some chilled crab cocktail.

Speaker 1

Sounds tantalizing. Do you have a second choice for summertime?

Speaker 2

Yeah? Next up is Martha Stuman's non vintage. It's called host Flirtation Number four Rose from California. It's twenty nine dollars. We recently interviewed Martha and the panel was really impressed with their Nero Devola based rose that she made, and it was medium, body balanced round. It was very carefree in mouthwatering, some lemon, verbina and red cherry flavors in there. Saline green apple was really delicious, crowd pleasing and easy drinking.

Ninety two plus rose also with crabcocktial, but perfect for a hot summer day.
