Hi there, This is coconnas Ru's Corner. I'm Jordan Rich, always out and about talking with restaurant tours, and today it's the owner of Preza Restaurant on Fleet Street in the North End, Anthony Catarano and Preza is celebrating twenty five years of fine dining. You've got a lot of fans, Anthony. Tell us about your cuisine, you.
Know, the restaurant kind of set out. It stand after my grandmother's town in Italy which she was born, a little town called Prezzo, which is outside of Salmona in a Bruzzo. And there it's like a lot of simple dishes, you know, like homemade pasta, polenta, you know, meat sauce and ragus and things like that. I also a couple few times that I went to Italy spent some time up in the north and that's sort of my favorite
food up there, real rich buttery. So it's kind of a blend of both, I guess, you know, like a little bit of northern Italian mix, a little bit of the influence from a Bruzzo. We have a large wine list. We have almost five hundred different labels on the wine list. That sort of sets us apart a little bit too, is just sort of the uniqueness of the food and the wine list as well.
In our next segment, I'll talk with Anthony about what makes Presa so successful beyond the great menu. The website, by the way, is presapri zz a dot com. This is Conserna's corner. WBZ, Boston's news radio
