Hi, dear friends. Jordan Rich here with Connoisseur's Corner. Joining me today to talk about wine is Ken Hoggins of Kenswineguide dot com. Please sign up for a free newsletter. You'll thank me for that. What about some beach and pool wine suggestions? Ken?
Yeah, Well, we're going to start out with a twenty twenty three dry Creek Vineyard fu may Blanc from Sonoma County. Probably get this for about twenty one bucks or last. This fuume over delivers. It's the second vintage in a row. They've hit it out of the park. It's round, it's fresh, its mouth watering.
It's got white.
Grapefruit and tonic water flavors. A little lime zest and passion fruit in there, finishes dry. Its flavors of the city drift away nicely. A pair this ninety one pointer with some grilled swordfish.
Sandwiches, perfect to take to the beach. How about a second choice of wine?
The Finger Lakes is loaded with very good, well priced dry reslings that are perfect for the summer weather. The twenty twenty Lahoma Vineyard Reestling from Apollo's Praise for twenty two dollars is an absolute steal. I found it to be meat and plus body balance, mouth watering and tad zesty.
Some grapefruit and white peach flavors in there, a little ginger tea and white pepper.
It's dry. I'd served this ninety two point w reestling chilled while hanging out on the beach or the pool on a hot summer day.
Refreshing in every way, as is the man. Ken Hoggins of Ken'swineguide dot com, Connoiser's Corner WBZ, Boston's news radio
