Episode description

Sarah Hyndman is the author of the book Why Fonts Matter (Gingko Press), a keynote speaker and the founder of Type Tasting (www.typetasting.com). She explores what happens to your brain on words: from sight to senses.

As a designer-researcher Sarah has been a typosensory expert since 2013. She has co-published papers with Professor Charles Spence of the University of Oxford. Sarah combines her findings with collated research. She translates this into multisensory experiences and interactive demonstrations. Her talks are packed with audience participation and live experiments. Her experiment-themed events are designed to engage curiosity.

Sarah creates experiences that transform what audiences feel, think, taste, smell and do.
