Croix I actually had to divide the previous podcast into two parts because it Was like 17 minutes. I'm like, you know what? I'm just gonna direct divide it into two parts. Yeah, so
Where were we last time we were talking about? Uh the first day of me being there Uh, do not rent it with the center line and uh, yeah, those bastards asked me on my last day of being there for like
$500 deposit and they were like, oh there's sand everywhere. We gotta it's gonna be like 350 I'm like doesn't say that in the contract guys always read the fine print Does not matter if they're rushing you because I felt like I was rushed those bastards um, I felt like I was rushed that's why like I signed everything and um Yeah, I guess I shouldn't have I should have went for somebody else But that's okay because I actually disputed my charge with american express for the 350 dollars
And yeah, I got it back. So yay Um, yeah people, uh, I swear it's like What are you charging 350 for for 10 minutes of them vacuuming the sand like it wasn't even enough sand like Like fuck you center line in st. Croix virgin islands Bastards, but uh, yeah. Anyways, I have fun regardless. So, um, i'm gonna talk about that now When grocery shopping everything was pretty affordable. Um, I actually looked at the rent prices
Because i'm curious how people live where do they live? How much does it cost? It was like, uh, 1 700 something It's pretty affordable. Um because I pay a 1500 Plus utilities and water and everything. So it's not bad Um, and it's savannah. Oh, I don't know. I'm not a big fan of savannah. So uh Yeah, savannah georgia. It's a touristy town. So but st. Croix lay back very beautiful nice people nice people
I would be very popular there. So let's just let's just say that black guys seem to like me So I think it's because of my assets but um And uh, yeah when grocery shopping got some groceries, um went to Few churches that they had Uh, and then started going to the beaches. I did not oh, oh, yes So the first beach I went to was the rainbow beach was just Popular for some reason. I don't know why it's just a beach and there's like a little restaurant on the coast so I met a dog
Dog was nice and fluffy. He was kind of not very energetic, but he was so cute um, so I went to the rainbow beach then I went to like Other beaches that were along the coast and then it started getting dark. So i'm like, you know what i'm gonna sleep in the car
Why not? Um, because I can actually find a hotel room that late because it was getting pretty dark at 6 7 pm Uh, yeah, so I did go I did go swimming and this guy he came up to me and he started talking to me and Yeah, it's like in some situations you shouldn't be as nice Because I should have just told him like look i'm not interested. I just wanna like be by myself right now
I'm not feeling very great or whatever. I just killed my boy. I don't know. I don't know. Um, should not have been nice because Right after I left that beach where me and this guy met he started talking to me He he was at the next beach that I was in and I saw a family at that beach and I almost wanted to befriend them and say hey that guy is fucking stalking me. So anyways, um
Um, so I left that beach. He didn't he did not throw me to the next beach So and I kept on driving, um, and I watched the sunset and I started preparing for the nightcap and I Had such a hard time falling asleep because it was humid so I'm like, you know what? I'm gonna go for a skinny day because nobody was around. It was very deserted area And I did that. It was very nice water was perfect and
I did see some plankton like the glowing plankton and I told that plankton to say hi to spongebob. So SpongeBob SquarePants Um, yeah, so Yeah, I was skin and dipping in a known area and Not knowing what's in the water. I mean, i'm sure there's sharks somewhere, but I swam with sharks before I was fine Uh, so after that I felt that oh, yeah, you know now that I got Poured yeah that got in the water. I'm gonna sleep good. Hell nah
So I actually decided to sleep on the beach. I brought a blanket. I brought a towel so I could like lay on something brought my traveling pillow and And I tried falling asleep and I could not I'm like what is going on? Like I'm supposed to be tired Because the day that I arrived because I couldn't sleep on the plane. I should be tired Hell nah, I was not so I went back into the car and I'm like I started falling asleep So I woke up maybe like 5 6 a.m. I probably had three hours of sleep
Maybe less but I was still energetic. So I decided to go hiking to the lighthouse which was my next destination and Started hiking the hike was supposed to take probably like an hour or so It took me 15 minutes because I just said fuck it. It kept going
I don't like hiking in steep areas if it keeps going up. I'm like nah Screw that i'm done And I tried to cheat the hike by kind of cutting off the Road, I guess Like I saw that if I kept going straight towards the coast instead of like in a zigzag I might see the lighthouse take a picture and then head back As soon as I stepped in something bit me I look at the bushes Poison ivy. Yay. I never I never had That experience with poison ivy because I mean I try to be careful when I go hiking
I think it was poison ivy. I don't know because my legs started tingling And and that was that and it's I had like a red area But I did not have a rash which usually what happens after poison ivy. So maybe it was something else And I started thinking oh my god, what if what if my legs are gonna go numb?
What if it's some kind of poisonous plant? Who do I call? There's no signal like oh no The whole time I was on the islands I probably had half the time signal so I had a signal half of the time And what's gonna happen like somebody has to be here But I was fine Yeah, and then I started going beach hopping from one beach to another beach And so the way that island is is that on the island The way that island is is that on the eastern part you have Frederick's end
Area and on the other side you have Christian sand or said can remember So yeah, I was in the Frederick's end went downtown explored downtown and then I Yeah, healthy beaches on some of the beaches. There were not a lot of people on one of them, which was a resort actually That was just me there and I'm like what is going on? Why is nobody here? Like usually people go swimming on the beach every
Single day. I mean I would be at the beach if I lived there and I went snorkeling and it was fun and I got a few souvenirs including a coconut that I brought with me actually and yeah And then I went to this uh residency that had seniors in it and They had the most gorgeous view and there was tennis courts. There were like bougie bougie stuff And i'm like, I want to live here. This is nice. This is great. I could live with seniors. I mean
They probably would like me. I don't know women might not but i'm sure older guys Will like me because that's what usually happens. So Yeah But uh, anyways, and then after that, I went to the christian sand saw point udall
Which is one of the tourist attractions. It's basically a sun clock and uh, yeah and then on the way back from there I saw two cars that were broken into and that led me to have a little bit of pdsd experience because I had something similar happen years ago and um My mood kind of went down But I visited but but then I went to I went to see fort uh christian sand Oh, one of the most gorgeous places i've seen probably because it's it was very historic and you're overlooking
the fort and the fort is overlooking to the city and it's just guys, you should go there like Visited because I did not I probably spent less than a thousand on a plane ticket and um around like 500 or so on rent in a car because renting a car there is expensive But then again, it was a company with whom I rented so do not once again do not use center lines Don't do it Go with avis and budget because that's where most people went actually Um, yeah, and then I did get a hotel my last
night there so it was the hotel was at the fort sorry fort for the vixen and I mean it was okay. I mean I didn't have like a the city view or anything, but um, it was I still had a nice view I watched golden go. Um, sorry. It was golden palace while I was falling asleep and I was like i'm finally on the bed I finally have a shower and getting the scent of every
Particle of my body that I have because sun gets everywhere. So um Yeah, then the next day I actually went to see the beer drinking pigs Which was great You pretty much Get to this place, which is like in the rainforest you buy a beer and buy like Give two dollars to the cashier to see the pigs and you you you basically poured the beer into the pig pig's mouth So that was an interesting experience Uh, yeah Yeah, pigs are cute They're so adorable and And you can't pet a pig there
Otherwise they go berserk and they get drunk on you and stuff. I mean I would think so so I would think so. So Uh, yes Great. Um, it was a good trip. It was a good trip. Um There were a few times my signal was lost, but I can I just keep driving along the coast and uh and along the highway and uh, yeah, I probably spent maybe like 70 bucks on food because I did dine in and I had food to take
With me to the hotel, but it was a great it was a great trip. So I would highly recommend going if you haven't been and uh, yeah, so this was it, um, my next trip is gonna be to kawaii in hawaii island, so hopefully that will go well, I know it will be raining and cloudy, but Hopefully there will be some sunshine for just just for me and a few other people. So I don't know
