Episode description

Trial: Difficult circumstance, allowed by God, purposed to sanctify your life and make you more like Jesus. Consequence: The natural result of unwise or poor decision-making. James 1:5 Psalm 139:23-24 John 16:8 The pathway out of consequence is REPENTANCE Luke 5:31-32 Acts 3:19 The pathway out of trial is PATIENT PERSEVERANCE James 1:3-4 Hebrews 12:11 Difficult circumstances of life are not evidence of God's absence. Trials are evidence of God's sovereign, full, no-holds barred battle with the old you to bring about the new you. Consequences are the fertile soil for God's primary work--redemption. Psalm 130:7 1 Corinthians 1:30
