On episode 26 of Concussion Talk Podcast I talk to Dr. Carmela Tartaglia. A concussion researcher and neurologist at the Krembil Neuroscience Centre's Memory Clinic in Toronto, in July 2016, Dr. Tartaglia was awarded the Marion and Gerald Soloway Professorship in Brain Injury and Concussion Research, a joint appointment between the University Health Network (UHN) and the University of Toronto, and the world's first professorship focused on concussion research.The professorship is thanks to a donation to encourage continuation of the work of work being done at the Canadian Concussion Centre by Dr. Charles Tator's team.We talk about concussion and CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy) research. We touch on memory as well.
