The government of Canada is making an investment in mental health programs for Black LGBTQI+ Canadians. The funding will be used to research information on the experiences and barriers faced by LGBTQI+ individuals as they navigate services for mental health, substance use, addictions, sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections, and criminal justice involvement.
