Episode description

The Edmonton Valley Zoo is back, with some newer guidelines, including a daily attendance limit of 200 tickets per half hour time slot. Pets, balloons and bubbles are some of the new things not currently allowed to attend the zoo per the Covid-19 restrictions. One of the other additions is that the zoo currently operates on a one way route through the entire park. While food and beverages are still sold, all of the indoor animal exhibits may be closed or have one way access, but the elephant house will be closed. It would be important to also note that the public water fountains have been turned off. To attend the park you will need to pass the usual questions asked per the times (like travel outside Canada, symptoms, close contacts). Patrons will also need to purchase tickets and a time slot via movelearnplay.edmonton.ca. Masks are also encouraged but not mandatory. Current hours are 9am-5pm seven days a week New Zoo Map; https://www.edmonton.ca/sites/default/files/public-files/assets/ZooMap_Winter2020-21.pdf Produced by Jarret Kamm.
