Camp Pekiwewin is a space near the REMAX field for homeless and impoverished individuals to spend their days and nights, and gain access to basic needs including water, food, toiletries, and first aid. The City of Edmonton stated earlier this week that they want to work towards finding an end-date for the camp as part of a solution to tackling the homeless crisis in Edmonton.
