Booking Second Doses

Under Alberta's newly expanded vaccine rollout, anyone who got their first dose in March can now receive their second shot. Anyone who received a dose in April can start booking June 14th, and those who received it in May can start booking June 28th. 65% of Alberta's population now has received their first dose, with over 466,000 being fully immunized. The province says 96% of Covid-19 cases since January 1st have been from people who were not vaccinated or had received their first dose within the last two weeks. Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta's Chief Medical Officer, will give her next update at 3:30pm this Thursday.
