Welcome to the Command Center Podcast. I'm Julie Donaldson. The six and five Commanders welcome the Atlanta Falcons to FedEx Field for a week twelve matchup with Thanksgiving right around the corner. Fred Smooth Logan Polson helped me craft the perfect recipe for a strong finish to the season. You got everything right here, everything everything that you possibly now you use the stop of course, not, of course, not at the frozen Brussels sprouse, the pumpkin pie, which is
Fred's least favorite. But look, this is it. This is Thanksgiving. This is how we do it. This is our so our way, and this is how Washington is going to get the victories to close out the season. Fred, I'm gonna let you start some. Thanksgiving is like your holiday. It is my holiday. And for the main course. You know when you got the turkey and you got their dressing and you got everything you need. This means this is the cent apiece in my sin apiece. Oh, big boys.
I love big boys. This feel like baking. Miss John Allen, mister house of pain, mister mister dog didn't make people sweat. The group is my main course. Like now you want to know my side you're kind of you're stuffing dish where I am. And now you want to talk about my sides. My side, I take a list side of terry pie. I love terry pie. I take a list side of it. I take also a little up Curtis Samuel in there. You know I want to put them Yes,
no, no no, mister Bruss. Healthy. Don't look it on outside, but healthy in my dessert, My dessert, my dessert. It's Heineke. Because he has a rubber a rabbit's foot in his pocket. It's Heineke. If honekey comes to your Thanksgiving, everything's better. I don't know why it's better, but everything's better. He might be I would say that Jesus sweet, it's sweet victory between He's all right, you gotta top that. I can't disagree because I think the main course is definitely
the turkey chicken. Right, And that's the defensive line. Yeah, they're playing out of this mind, and so by extension the defense, right, that's the group. Put a little stuffing in here, stump that in the box. Right there we go. I'm not coming to your house. And then I think, I think I think you hit right in the head. Right the offense is a complimentary piece, the thing that makes the meal go. The gravy, cranberry, saucy. Yeah, that's
where the offense is that right. They're supporting the main meal, right because because turkey can be all a little bit dry, a little bit boring, don't do it right, right, So I think that's it. So I think all those pieces are going to compliment in a nice way. And they know where they are. They know where their bread is buttered, so to speak. It's on the defensive side of the ball, and everything else compliments. And so I think that's where I would say all my sides of the offense, defense,
and special teams. Terry Pie love that. Curtis Samuel. I don't think he's Brussels sprouts because I think he's more fun than that. Maybe sweet potato pie, And I think that's where we're at. But when you're talking about the run, but you didn't break up your dessert. Who does terry dessert? But the run game? What is the run game? Maybe like a nice brisk or sometato the potatoes, I love it. Give me some. You know. That's contribute for all of your news and analysis, be sure to tune into Command
