This week on Comics and Chronic Jake & Cody are in for another Half Baked episode & they’re discussing the Robert Eggers film Nosferatu starring Lily-Rose Depp, Willem Dafoe, Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, Emma Corrin, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, & Ralph Ineson. “ A gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake.”
But first, Cody shows off his Christmas gifts. Is this movie over hyped? When compared to Bram Stroker’s Dracula the answer absolutely! This movie is NOT the best movie of the year. Werewolves are sexy AF. Is Robert Eggers hit or miss? The Witch & The Lighthouse are way scarier. Jake fell asleep during the movie. The movie is beautifully shot, has great acting, is sexy, and amazing cinematography but still doesn’t BUSS. NEPO babies make a return this episode. Does Nosferatu cuck Nicholas Hoult? Does the movie have enough vampire lore? Cody mispronounces Guillermo del Toro’s name for the millionth time. Is this movie underwhelming? Cody & Jake rank their top 5 Vampire movies.
