Episode description

Welcome to this minisode of Color Decoded! Today we will learn about how scientists color pictures of stuff from space. The Hubble Space Telescope has taken breathtaking images of distant regions of space for much of the 30 years it has been in operation. One of the reasons these images can be so moving is that scientists generate beautiful colors alongside the data they collect when making observations. We will explore the kinds of images astronomers, physicists, and cosmologists can create with the information they collect!
