EP 11: How to NOT be Racist During Halloween 101

Check out our 11th episode with Zoe and Alina! The two talk about cultural appropriation and the roots of internalized racism within POC (spoiler alert: yes... it is because of white people and colonization). In this episode the girls talk about the appropriation of cultural tattoos written in Mandarin and Arabic, blackfishing, dream catchers, mehndi (aka: HeNnA TaTtOoS), and also boys in maid costumes... don't ask, just listen. The episode focuses on how POC have been negatively effected regarding their ethnic features and how these features are now seen as "beauty trends".
