Episode description

On today’s Collider Dailies, John and Maggie talk about the news that the upcoming Star Wars series, The Acolyte reportedly has a release date, as well as the reveal that Michael Abels, the composer best known for his work alongside Jordan Peele in his three feature films Get Out, Us and Nope, is set to produce the score for the series which stars Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-Jae, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Rebecca Henderson.

After that, they talk about Uncharted 2 getting an update from actor Mark Wahlberg, who told Screen Rant that the script is complete and he was told to start growing his mustache for the sequel to the video game adaptation from 2022.

Finally, they lament the cancellation of the Audible Original series Slayers: A Buffyverse Story, a follow-up to Buffy The Vampire-Slayer, which was announced to be not getting a second season by the podcast's co-creator Christopher Golden.

All of that and more on Collider Dailies!
