Combining food and her deep desire to connect with and help others, she followed her great grandmother’s footsteps in the path to become a Registered Dietitian. Her training at Western Illinois University and an internship at the Memphis VA Hospital lead her to a career in outpatient counseling and bariatric nutrition therapy.   In these positions, Carlee realized many of the disease states (upwards of 80%) her patients suffered with were actually preventable. She knew she had to dig deeper into preventative health, which lead her to NutriSense and Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM). With her love for food, experience in behavioral counseling, and a little help from cutting-edge technology, Carlee is on a mission to stop preventable diseases and help people live their healthiest lives.
