In December 2003, 13-year-old Daniel Morcombe set off for a day of shopping to buy Christmas presents for his family. That was the last time his parents, Bruce and Denise ever saw their son. Daniel Morcombe was abducted and killed in an event that sent shockwaves around the world. 16 years on, Bruce believes Daniel's death has saved thousands of other children from the same tragic fate. The Daniel Morcombe Foundation is a legacy to a young boy who every Australian holds close in their hearts.
