This week Jeff pays tribute to a singer who was a huge part of the 1960's and 1970's musics scene. She was loved all over the world. "She is widely known for the 1971–72 global hit "Brand New Key"; her 1970 version of "Ruby Tuesday", which was originally written and recorded by the Rolling Stones; her composition "What Have They Done to My Song Ma"; and her 1970 international breakthrough hit "Lay Down (Candles in the Rain)" (inspired by her experience of performing at the 1969 Woodstockmusic festival).[3][4"]" (Wikipedia citation) Lets remember Melanie and raise our coffee cups to a wonderful singer. Enjoy this cup of coffee with Mary B's 5th son.
