ames Bonnett comes back on the podcast to talk about his recent fastest known time (FKT) of the Hole-to-Hump. It is a run that starts at the Colorado River at the bottom of the Grand Canyon (elevation – 2500’) and ends at the summit of Mt. Humphreys (elevation – 12,633’ – Arizona’s highest point) covering 72.2 miles with an unofficial time of 16:44. He also discusses pacing Jim Walmsley as he set a new course record at the 2019 Western States 100-Mile Endurance Run.
