Episode description

Gerald and Dr. Jamye Banks explore the challenges racially marginalized students experience on campus and how students who identify within this demographic can persist through these challenges. Through different approaches Dr. Banks refers to building community, emotional intelligence, and offering perspective to students who are not of a racially marginalized community. By making space for racially marginalized students on our campus, we can re-shape their experiences at the University of Michigan.
