Guest Speaker Andy Hawthorne
Jesus’ words shocked His audience because they were offensive to the culture of His day. Jesus’ words still challenge culture and call us to a radical life of generosity.
While invited to the home of an influential ruler Jesus gave key insight on how to live a generous life. 1. Jesus first addresses the guests on their pride and arrogance. Luke 14:7-11 2. Jesus secondly addresses the host on his selfishness. Luke 14:12-14 3. Grace empowers us to be generous to more than just our friends and family, it will extend to our enemies. 4. To experience God’s grace we must first come to Jesus’ table.

Paul writes through out the Bible about about the Power of Generosity, join Pastor Dave and discover what the Bible says about finding joy in Generosity
You can expect to find joy when you put your trust in God.
In chapter three Paul uses his personal testimony to teach us how to find the joy only God can give.
God designed His “house” to be full of joy - finding this joy means getting the focus off ourselves and helping others.
The Night before Jesus Christ was crucified He made a very strange statement that nobody who heard it understood. He said, "In a little while the world will no longer see Me. But you're going to see Me because I am alive and you're about to come alive."- John 14:19 Join us as we discover what Jesus meant when he said we would come alive.
In Following Jesus, we discover the pathway to joy is through humility and the journey is very countercultural.
Finding true joy can be elusive, but the apostle Paul gives us great insight in his letter from prison to the church in Philippi.
In this message Pastor Dave Koop begins a new series on joy, based on the book of Philippians written by the Apostle Paul. In this letter Paul wrote to the Philippian church we see the word joy used 16 times, today we unpack how we can find joy in building strong friendships.

We live better when we understand how to eliminate the toxic thoughts in our mind.
Guest Speaker Dr. Caroline Leaf Relating with members of the opposite sex can be frustrating and difficult, but it doesn’t have to be. Successful relationships begin in the mind (which seeks understanding) and, through the choices we make, will end in the spirit (which knows truth). Men and women have been created to complement one another through their own unique strengths; we are exponentially better together.
We live better when we understand we must think about what we think about and choose our thoughts wisely.
We live better when we practice praying for others and with others.
We live better when we can care for the burdens of others and allow others to care for us. Share each other's burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2
We live better when we share a meal together, both physically and spiritually.
God has designed us to live in a spiritual community, and in this setting we can cultivate lasting relationships with others.
