Episode description

Coach Massey is a graduate of Aldine High School where he played Quarterback for the Mustangs. He attended Texas A&M while earning his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. He has coached at Cy-Fair High School, Texas A&M University, University of Florida, Conroe High School and Katy High School where he spent eight years as the offensive coordinator – before coming to Deer Park in 2003.

He works as a director for the Greater Houston Football Coaches Association, and is a past Board of Director for the Texas High School Coaches Association. He is the Executive Director for the Bayou Bowl, the Texas vs Louisiana High School All Star Game. Coach Massey was inducted into the GHFCA Hall of Honor in 2013. He and his father, Barton Massey, are the only Father/Son inductees.
