This is Co Op Chronicles, episode 11. Welcome back to Co Op Chronicles. I'm Pint Sized Geisha, and with me I have Black Label. Hello. And as Leigh. Hello. And today's episode is about Movies. Movies. Yeah, we're gonna talk about movies. About movies. I had no idea what today's episode was about, by the way. Like, none. At all. Yeah, we're talking about movies. Yep. Yep. Yep. Um. Yeah, before that though, I am gonna talk about the whole, well, I guess talk about that we're not gonna be here.

We're not gonna have an episode next week. Yes. Sorry guys. Yeah. We're gonna be out of town. You're gonna be out of town. We've got very important ness, important business to attend to. Important ness. Important ness. Important ness business. But we'll drop to, um, when we come back. The following week. Yeah, when we come back. Yeah. Um, but, I am gonna play this AI thing, which is gonna be the next topic. Oh, or at least one of our topics. And this shit goes hard. Just had AI make it for us.

We hope you enjoy it. Yeah. We gather round the mic, Tales of nights and dives, Gaming when worlds collide, Hopes come alive, Resilient gaze should check, Black labels where it's at, Movies and stories told, Secrets to unfold, Co op Chronicles, come and join the ride in a world where fun resides. Oh, I like that. Co op Chronicles, hear the stories, feel the vibes. Lo fi beats, they flow, as we share what we know. D& D and gaming talk, every journey we embark.

Life's so fun, now that's the plan, in our little podcast clan. Women leading through the air, join us if you dare. Chronicles, come and join the ride, in a world where fun resides. Go up Chronicles, hear the stories, feel the vibes. That shit's crazy. We should have that as our opening. That shit is crazy. I just typed in like What this is what I typed in to make that chill step lo fi hip hop podcast called coconos hosts Azalee, Geisha, Black Label.

We talked about gaming, hobbies, D& D, movies, fun, and stories. And I came up with that shit. That shit blows my mind. When you go on like little breaks during your streaming, you should just play it. Yeah, that shit's crazy. I'm just, yeah, we're gonna talk about that next, in a future episode. Why is Label where it's at, and it's just Baz and Geisha, check. Yeah, we're here. But it said, on the, on the bottom it says, um. Women leading through the air.

And I was like, why does it say, how does it know that? What? Why is it? Yeah. Well, Geisha. Maybe they associated it with a lady. I like, I like the Come join us for a night of, in Funland or something. Yeah, it's pretty cool. It's crazy. I don't know. It's absurd. Chat GPT. Suno. Just, shit's insane. It's like, I don't know. But let's get into the topic. We're talking about movies.

Um, also I wanted to pull up a, a Somebody commented on one of our posts about the movie thing and I was like, oh, that's pretty cool. Somebody commented nice That's what we're going to talk about a movie they suggested Even though I've never seen it, but I should probably pull it up and act like I know what I'm talking about. What's it called? Cloud Atlas. Oh, I've heard of it, but I've never seen it. It's with Tom Hanks. It's like a ten hour movie, isn't it? Is it with Halle Berry? Oh, it is.

Halle Berry's in there too. And Tom Hanks. It's Tom Hanks, yeah. I've never watched it. Yeah, so they suggested it. What's the hour count on it? The what, for how long it is? Um, isn't it like they have different realities and different universes or something? Um, length, two hours and 52 minutes long? It's super long. My goodness. Um, it was a bb. viv92 on Instagram that suggested it. Well now, Black Label has to look into this. I have to watch it.

No, I said I was going to watch it because I like Tom Hanks. Oh, it's based off a book. Yeah. Yeah, and I was like, Cast Away is like one of my favorite movies with Tom Hanks. It's so emotional. And I don't like emotional movies, but that movie got me. Okay. Maybe I'll read the book. Alright. I need a new book. Okay. So our, uh, opening question is, uh, What's the most epic movie marathon, um, you've ever done and why is it so memorable? Isha, the Lord of the Rings

extended edition . This shit's long, so long, but I love it. I swear. I think I love it. I think, uh, me and Sean, like every week we probably do a Harry Potter marathon all the time. Yeah. I, I, man, I don't know, between Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Yeah, the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings all extended edition. Let's go. But I like the Harry Potter stuff too. Yeah, that's a tough one. I like all three of those. I would watch all three of those.

Just back to back to back to back. Yeah. I wanna do like an alien, um, marathon. Oh, we did that like two months ago. We like credit or marathon. We did that one too. We did that right after. Yeah. We were like, oh, let's watch this. You, I want to do, um, when they have the, uh, they have the marathons at the, like the local EMC. Oh yeah. Mm-Hmm. . They have like the. Lord of the Ring or whatever, Hobbit marathon. I a Lord of the Ring one coming up soon.

I don't think it's a marathon, but I think it's maybe like the anniversary of one of the movies. I think it was a Twin Towers or something. But one of them, they do have like a marathon and you like take breaks after each movie and stuff. It's kind of cool. Maybe it's Star Wars. Maybe it started at like 10am. Yeah. Yeah. What was I gonna say? I was gonna say something. Oh, why is it so memorable? Were you gonna say that or no? No, um. God, it was, I just had it.

I think it's memorable watching like a marathon of it a movie or a show because you're like watching those people grow up in Like movie. Yeah, it's crazy. Like I remember like first harry potter movie They're like little babies and then the last movie they're just like so much. Oh, yeah, there's like Big grown ups. Yeah, I know this isn't a movie, but it's like with the stranger things Like I was watching she said she started when she was 10 and now she's like 20 It's crazy.

And then uh, they talked about how that one lady said she had a crush on him and he was like She was like 30 Or something 11 who one of the stranger? Uh stranger things characters He said he met a lady who said she had a crush on him when he was a kid and she was like 40 years old So she would have been 30. That's so weird I saw that the new season's coming out soon, right? Yeah, I don't know. I believe another season's coming out soon. Yes, I think the final season is coming out.

I never, I stopped watching after the last season. Or I haven't watched the last season. Yeah, I haven't watched it with the Vecna guy. I have I've watched all of them Okay, so, uh favorite movies personal favorites. What? What are your all time favorite movies and why or what makes them so special? The hobbit, okay I'm gonna be a broken record this entire episode. I don't know. I remember I okay I remember watching the first lord of the rings and I was in high school.

I was with my I was living with my aunt and my uncle at the time And their daughter my cousin deborah rented this movie, right? And then I saw the cover and I was like this looks lame like this is gonna be so stupid But they wanted to have a movie night So I had a movie night with my aunt my uncle my cousin and then afterwards i'm just like I fucking love this movie I don't know what it is about it, but I fucking love this movie. Is it like the storytelling? Is it the characters?

Lord of the Rings? I think I liked it just because I was always into fantasy games like Final Fantasy and like wizards and spells and elves and stuff so that like really made me like it a lot. Yeah. Well, I think like when I say the Lord of the Rings, I'm encompassing the whole entire, like the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings, like everything that the book encompasses, right? The books encompass. And I don't know, just this adventure of it.

And then like, you know, Bilbo, he's like, I don't want to go on an adventure. And then he goes on an adventure. And then like, it ties into, um, Frodo's adventure. And I like, I kind of am like this big, um, I don't want to say believer, but I like when books or stories or movies or anime have like, like, a prophecy type of thing, where it's like something happened thousands and thousands of years ago. But now thousands and thousands of years later, it has these repercussions or this outcome.

I like that the story played out over a long, long ass period of time, you know? Yeah, and like the Witch King of Angmar is pretty damn cool. You talk about this all the time. I talk about him all the time and like the villains are cool, like they're badass villains and I don't know. I mean they all started and I think the overall theme For me, in the Lord of the Rings, is how greedy man can be. You know, and the consequences of it in that particular story. Yeah, for sure.

Yeah. I think the Lord of the Rings is so good because it's considered high fantasy. So the background and the lore to it is so large. Exactly. And it gives you so much room to create. The story on picture. Yeah, and like tolkien Came up with this whole map this whole fantasy plus lore plus like its own language and everything right? It was just made out of his imagination and it's just encompassing Like all aspects of that world He thought of yeah It was incredible. What about you miss?

Uh, repeat everything. I just said. Yeah I think my favorite will um You It's gonna be Doom. Which one? The one with um, The Rock. You liked that? I love that movie. You know how many people hated that? I love that movie. Me and Sean watch that movie all the time. The best part was when he went in first person. Yeah, I know. That was the best part. No, the whole movie is great, but that's like the coolest part. Yeah, like a lot of people hate that movie. I love that movie.

I've never seen that movie. The Doom movies that follow it are terrible. It's like the best one in that franchise. Every other one is like, Awful the soundtrack's pretty good in that too. Actually, it's very good. It wasn't was it the one with Ice cube, was that a doom movie? Or because he's like on him. He's like on mars and they're like fighting like alien zombies, dude I don't even look this shit up now I don't know. It's definitely not mars.

I don't think it's a doom movie zombies you've been it. I don't with ice cube I just know that one of them is with this chick Not cool There's like no memorable actors in the other ones Ghost of Mars. Oh. That's different. Ghost of Mars. Okay, that's completely different. That shit's weird too. Yeah, I love, I love the Doom movie. Yeah. It's so good cause I just love the concept of just like this other world where demons come into it. Parallel.

Yeah. And then they're like, cause the whole concept of it. The concept of Doom is that there's this portal to the, like, to the, like, underworld, like, the demon realm, and then they're coming through, and you gotta stop them, and you gotta kill them. It's so cool. I love it. I think, uh, I mean, obviously, Loyal Marines, Hobbit, John Wick, Harry Potter, those are all good movies. I think my all time favorite movie is Boondock Saints, with the brothers. I mean, you got the tattoo.

I do got the tattoo, with the brothers, and they're just like , they're, he's like, these guys are pros, , and they're like falling down from the rafters, getting their feet tied up and they're just spinning, like, do, do do do, do, do, do it. It's just such a great movie. The way they put it together, the concept of it. Mm-Hmm. . I just liked how they, how. They, he was always there investigating and trying to figure out like what they're doing.

Oh, they must have did this but then it shows in like reality what they actually did and they were so bad. Yeah, I love the concept with the William Dafoe. Yeah, he's such a good, he loses his mind in that movie. He started out like really cool and calm like he's the shit and then at the end he's like fucking Like, oh, what is he, what is happening? Yeah, I've only seen that movie one time so I don't know what you're talking about, but okay.

No, I was gonna say, um, another movie marathon that we should have soon, Black Label, is the Underworld movies. Those are pretty good. Mom loves those. The last one. The last one is kind of iffy, but the first like two, three, I don't remember the third. Oh, I do remember Sonya. Yeah Mom really liked those movies. She loves them. Yeah underworld would be a good one Okay, what movie do you think everyone should at least experience once?

No, i'm just joking I think um, i'm gonna say a grave encounters because it's it's such a Good, bad, horror movie, that it's like set in like an insane asylum and they're like um, like a ghost hunting group and they're making a show about it, but it's so good cause it's so like, oh my god, and it's amazing. You gotta watch it. Yeah. I think for me it would be like one of the M. Night Shyamalan movies cause they're so like, what the fuck, at the end, you know?

Like the village, that would be a good one, just because for that experience of like, are you fucking kidding me, like at the end of it, you know? Like. Yeah, the elevator one was pretty interesting too. What was it called? Was it called elevator? Is it where the devil? Yeah, and they're all stuck. It's called devil. Oh, I've never seen. Well, they're all stuck in the elevator. That's devil would be fucking name. Yeah, that shit's it's, no, it's not. You should watch. You should watch it.

No, you should not watch it if you don't, if you don't like that kind of stuff. Oh, yeah. I don. It's literally the devil is like, yeah, the devil's in there killing each one off. And by you don't know. And you don't know who it is. Yeah. So like the devil possessed somebody and he's just No, it's like there's, so the, there's a guy in the elevator, he's like the red herring where you're like, he's the bad guy. Yeah. You know, he's the, but it's the whole time each person is like dying somehow.

But then at the end, there's like this crazy twist and you're just like, yeah, it's terrifying. It's an interesting movie. I don't want it. Well, it's one of his movies. So, you know, it's a twist. Yeah. Um, what do you think? I think he just made that one movie that just came out. Watchers. That's his movie, right? Yeah. Yeah. Dakota Fanning. I think it looks cool. I think that's based off of that house. Oh, maybe not like the Watchers house.

People are saying it's like, from what my friend told me, I don't believe it, but she's like, it's like, Biblical in origin, but I was like, there's no way it doesn't really seem that way, but I don't know. I would uh, suggest water world Oh, that's a good one. I really like water world Even though I was like, just because, you know, when was it made? Like 90s? Yeah, 80s, 90s. And could you imagine, like, the world just underwater? Like, I feel like it would be like that.

Like, people just start developing fins or whatever, gulls in their neck. Gills. Gills, sorry, yeah. Like a golem. Gulls. They got gulls. You know, they got gulls to get fins. That makes it like gallstones. Gallstones. Whatever, whatever. What is it called? I should know this. Like you have the goal to talk to me. It's for your gallbladder. Yeah. Can you share a memorable story from a time you watched a particular movie? I shared one. My first encounter with the Lord of the Rings. Oh, okay.

Yeah. That was mine. I have a funny story. Um, I think I've mentioned this before, but Sean has never watched like, The nun movies so we sat down and we watched the first nun together And it was like we watched it at night He had all the lights off and there's this one scene and it freaked him out so bad that he like jumped and screamed Really and I screamed and we're just like What that would be what we watched. Yeah, we watched it when you guys brought it.

I think you brought it up and watched Yeah, it wasn't that bad. I don't even remember but it was so funny and it's just the most memorable movie You Moment ever for me. I think the part where he was just like locked up in the gray in the in the tomb in the like Great in the coffin. Yeah in the bell. That would suck. It reminds me of that movie. Um Buried with ryan reynolds. Yeah, you know, he said he developed. Uh, like a What is it where you don't like? Claustrophobia.

Yeah, claustrophobia from that movie. Um. That sucks. What about, uh, what about you? Oh, I guess that's your memorable. I think, I don't know if I have a memorable story from a movie. I have, I kind of already said my other one on our last podcast about, um, watching The Exorcism of Emily Rose, like I went to the movie theater. I wore my rosary for like three weeks afterwards. That's my other one.

I think uh, the One I could think of is because like I really love paul walker After the fast and furious movie I became A freaking a ricer. I got a ricer. Yeah, I got a honda hatchback. I see remember my little white honda It was like it was like so loud. Oh, yeah a ricer. Yeah It was a nice it was a nice little car. Yeah, I liked it. I enjoyed it. Then you had to get a big boy car Yeah, you know have you ever done a themed movie night? What was it? How did it go? Yeah, we we just discussed it.

Yeah, right Yeah, we kind of touched the base. Yeah, each of us in our own way. We do like a themed movie night Yeah. Yeah. We kind of start the movie and we keep going. See, I don't ask these questions, but you guys always continue on with your answer that covers the questions I have later on. It just naturally happens. Yeah, okay. So, what is your, or what are your favorite action, scary, and fantasy movies? What makes them stand out? Wait, what? My favorite? Repeat the first one. Action.

Oh, shoot. I'm not a big action. John wick. Say John wick bead. Keanu Reeves younger. And he was listening with his short hair. The short hair was man. He was handsome. Okay. Yeah. No, I don't like the long hair. Scary. Oh, scary. Scary. Scary would be Hannibal. That's kind of scary to me. Is it? Yeah, because like, really? This could be like an actual thing. You know? I mean, it probably is. Like I said I think it's considered like a Yeah, it's a scary genre.

I don't watch scary movies about, like, demons and the devil. I watch scary movies about, like, people. Or, or, you know, another good one is, um, like, Wrong Turn, where people, like, the cannibals, or Cabin in the Woods, where it's, like, the infection in the water. I guess that Cabin in the Woods would be a good one. Where, like, there's a dead body in the water, and you drink the water, and you're just, like, all fucking falling apart. You're like, anything supernatural, can't do.

Anything like, human, real life stuff, I can't do. I'm like, the complete opposite. I hate, like, the Saw movies, I hate those. Yeah, Saw movies, I can handle. I'm just like, oh, okay. I like those movies. Like, House of Wax, when she cuts the Achilles. Oh my god. Oh yeah, that one was a little bit, like, Paris Bilton y. Yeah, that one was rough. What about your fantasy movie? Lord of the Rings. Okay, we're just, we don't need to touch on it, we get it.

Okay, um, another, No, no, no, no, no. You just gave me fantasy. I was trying to think of my runner up. Harry Potter. Okay, that's fine. Harry Potter. Okay, what about you Azalea? Action, scary, fantasy. Action, I would say The Tomorrow War, I think it's called, with uh, Oh, Tom Cruise? No, he's, it's uh, Isn't that the one where he's like, he's dying and comes back to life? No, that's um, And Rachel McAdams? No, not Rachel McAdams. No, that's called something else.

The Tomorrow War is with um, I'm gonna Google it. The guy, I don't remember what his last name is. Not Chris Pine, the other one. Chris Pratt, yeah. Oh, that was an interesting movie. I liked that one, that was a good one. What's the one with Tom Cruise? Dude, the ending was so sad. Well, not even the ending, it was like the middle. And, oh my god, fucking so sad. I love that movie, it was so good. Fucking made me so sad.

But he also like, He's like, all right guys, like he took a bunch of new people and he was like, all right, we're gonna survive. I'm gonna help you survive. We're gonna do this. Tomorrow is the one with Tom Cruz. Yeah, that's a good one. But yeah, he did his best to help everybody out. Yeah, I was like, I love this. And then the guy, when he goes back to his time, he's just like, I hid the whole time and I'm a coward. And I'm like, I would hide too! I don't blame you!

But then he clutched it up at the very end. He did. That was a good movie. Scary? Scary is I have so many scary movies. Grave Encounters! That was such a good scary movie. I love that movie. I've never seen that movie. I've never seen it either. You guys gotta watch. There's two of them. Grave Encounters 1, You gotta watch them. I promise you. Well, maybe, maybe not Geisha. Cause she's not into that kind of stuff. But You should watch a plug label.

And then, fantasy, I want to say Harry Potter, but also, I feel like, I really like the dark crystal. Would that be fantasy? Yeah, I guess. I guess so, because it's like, yeah. Yeah. It's like little gelf wings. Mm hmm. I like the, yeah. I like the dark crystal. Yeah. Um, okay. So, favorite action. Man, I can go like far back and stuff, but I would just keep it here Uh, I would say like john wick. I really enjoy john wick the movie like all of them just because He's badass.

The first one's so iconic. Yeah, it's like a baba yaga. Yeah, baba. Yeah fucking pinto He's like did you hit my son? Yeah, he's like yes. Yes, I did um Scary I wanna, I'll probably say like Annabelle or What's that one movie with uh, not the one with Ryan Reynolds but the older one. I mean obviously it's the same movie. Annabelle, that was fucking freaky to me. I mean when I was a kid though and I seen like Candy, when I seen Candyman as a kid was terrifying.

Um, Oh, Puppet Cemetery was pretty scary too. Yeah, so what was it? Children of the Corn was really freaky when I was a kid. The movie with the gremlins? That was kind of spooky. That was kind of spooky when you were a kid? It's just kind of freaky. Shucky, when I was a kid, oh my god. What was the old one? I watched it and I think it might have made me afraid of clowns, yeah, the clowns from Outer Space. Yeah, they eat your brains and shit. That one's terrifying.

God, I think that's what made me not like clowns. They're aliens, but they're just as clowns. They got like a clown tent. And they eat your brains. Yeah, they stick straws in your fucking head. Oh my god. Suck your brains out. Yeah, it's literally terrifying. Brain juice. Yeah. Fantasy. Man, there's so many good fantasy movies. But I like that one fantasy movie that nobody likes, um, What's with Smith and his son? After Earth. After Earth, yeah. I really like that movie.

Can I change my action movie? Or Equilibrium, I love that movie. That's a good one. I've never seen that movie either. With um, Chris, what's his name? Pratt. Christopher Evans. No, he was a Batman guy. Christopher Oh, um Wasn't that his name? Am I thinking Am I wrong? I don't know. I'm drawing a blank. God, he was the psycho killer guy in the movie American Psycho. Yeah, you know American Psycho? Christian Bale. Christian. Christian. Be Bale Christian. Be. Thank you.

Not Christopher. Not Christopher. This is a C name. It was a ch name. Yeah. Christian Bell. Yeah, that was a good movie. I wanna change my action to Thor. Thor. Okay. Yeah. I mean not uh, Thor. Uh, Troy. Oh, Troy. Oh yeah. It was like Thor. Thor. I was Thor's good. No, I love Thor was great too. Mind your business. Yeah. But compared to. Oh yeah, well, cause fuckin Prime, Brad Pitt, oh my god. Yeah, Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom, and Muscle E, like the Spartans, like the 300 movie.

What's the other one? What? You got Brad Pitt, you got Orlando Bloom, and the third guy. Russell Crowe. No. No, no, no. What's that movie? What's he in? He's from the, he's the Hulk guy. He's the Hulk guy, the first one. Um, Ed Banner? No, that's the Banner. That's the character's name. What's his name? Hold on, I'm looking it up. Troy Kast. Cast. Oh, Eric Bana. Eric Bana. It was almost like Eric Bana. Eric Bana. Orlando Bloom was in it. Yeah, when he was young.

The dad from uh, Brad Pitt. Game of Thrones was in it. Sean Bean. Sean Bean. That was a good movie. Yeah, that was a good movie. I want to change mine to um, I keep wanting to fucking say Thor. Troy. Now that I think about Troy, it makes me think of 300. 300 was good too. I remember when 300 first came out. I saw it twice in one day punted the shit out of him. We skipped school Yeah, we skipped school to go watch it.

And then after school we went to go watch it again I saw it twice the day came out that was with the transformers I skipped and I watched that movie so many times the first transformers. Yeah, the first two transformers were really really good I liked when shia labeouf was like losing his mind and he's like kitten calendar kitten calendar And then Um, okay. Okay. What movie genres do you think this is still question four?

This is just the second part of it What movie genres do you think are the most enjoyable and why? I think a hard question. I think fantasy. Well, I guess it just depends on the type of person you are but I think fantasy because I like the imagination part of things Yeah, I like supernatural horror That's a good one. Oh Anything that's like paranormal supernatural. I like that kind of horror. Yeah Thank you I don't know. It depends on my mood.

Like sometimes as a, as a, as a woman, you got to ugly cry it out. Right? So you put on a movie, that's going to make you cry. I've never seen you cry in a movie because I don't need an ugly cry, but I'm just saying if I had to ugly cry, it would be the Moulin Rouge if I, if I had a bad day and I feel like blowing up the entire universe, I don't know what it would be, maybe some action movie. Really? If I had a bad day, I'd watch, um, coyote ugly. I love that movie. That is a good movie though.

It is a great movie. Oh, like maybe, oh, you know what? Uh, Studio Ghibli movies are the best. When you're feeling down? Like Spirited Away, such a good movie. Man, Howl's Castle is a good movie. Howl's Castle, such a good movie. Princess Mononoke is like my favorite of all time. I think Spirited Away is my all time favorite for Studio Ghibli. I think my, the first two animes that got me into anime was Ghost in the Shell. And then Akira. Akira was fucking. I like that movie. Akira?

Yeah, That's a crazy movie, man. That's a good one. I had, I used to have a sweatshirt that was like a Destiny shirt. And it was like a Titan walking up to his like, Car, but it was like Destiny instead of like Akira. Yeah, that's pretty funny. Okay, um, we have like 21 questions, and we're on question 5. So you guys need to stop answering the questions ahead of time. Sorry. No, because then we can just skip those questions. We're saving you time. Okay, okay, you're right, true.

Exactly, we can just skip them. How do you feel about mixing genres in a single movie night? Like, which ones would you say go well? Like, if you would, would you watch an action then hop over to a scary? I think I do that a lot. I watch, like, if we watch a scary, I'm definitely watching a happy movie after. I'll be watching a scary movie and then Harry Potter right after.

Yeah, but like, that, you know, if you're watching, or if you're watching a sad movie, you have to watch an action movie, I think. Not Right after. Yeah, right after. Or a comedy movie. But a lot of our movies we've watched lately have been like, same genre. Like we watch like, um, like movies coming out are just kind of bland to me. Yeah, like every time we watch a movie we always end up watching like, excuse me, like, the first, the second, in the same night. Mm hmm, yeah.

Have you guys watched the movie Imaginary yet? No. No, what is that? It's pretty good. Well, it's about this lady, she like, when she was younger she had an imaginary friend, and then when she got older her stepkids One of her stepkids gets an imaginary friend. Is this the one with Ryan Reynolds? No, that's if. Um, turns out this imaginary friend is the same one that she had when she was younger.

And it's this whole diabolical plan from this like, this like, other world being that like, captures children. He's a terrifying teddy bear. Yeah, it's really scary. No, I mean, it's not really scary, but like, the concept is scary, but they made it in a way that it was like, hilarious. Yeah. Um. Okay, um, how, how, have you ever discovered a new favorite genre through watching movies? No. Not really. I like to stick to a specific genre. Yeah, it's hard to change.

It's like, with music I can listen to different stuff. I've been listening to like, music lately. And you're like Yeah, but it's easy with music. With movies it's really hard. Yeah. But I feel like lately we've just Not had time to watch any movies lately. Yeah, like we rarely sit down and watch a movie now. Yeah, it's hard Um, do you prefer classic films or the modern movies lately and why? That's a hard one.

I think I prefer classic I mean, I guess it just depends on what genre and like the type of mood I am in because I used to watch like, I'm, I'm down to watch some like old school stupid movies like um, the witches when they turn the little kids into rats and stuff like, like those type of old school movies or speed. But I just prefer like CGI. Like the graphics, the visually. I like visual. Yeah. It gives me like a nice feeling when it looks good.

Not that I didn't like it back then, but now it's like crisp, refined. 4K. 4K. I just prefer the older movies because I feel like, They have more s more substance. Like the new movies sometimes come out are kind of like boring and plain. This isn't a This isn't a question, but I feel like the genre that really annoys me the most is probably Christmas movies. Yes. I fucking hate Christmas movies. I hate Christmas movies.

I hate the fucking whole concept of like, Oh, I'm gonna make my my Partner's family for the first time on christmas shut the fuck up. There's good movies about christmas that are not hallmark All hallmark movies are just although some are like the old school ones where it's what's that one movie? It's like a hallmark movie where like the step mom is like evil and like wiping her kid down with bake off I don't know about that.

I mean, I feel like that one movie with ryan reynolds and fucking uh, what's her name? The sandra bullock great movie The proposal? Yeah, the proposal. That's not a Christmas movie. Yeah, but, it's like, it reminds me of like a, one of those Hallmark Christmas, yeah, cause they go in to like, meet their family. Okay, look, there's one movie, one Christmas movie that I will watch every year cause it's so good. Santa Claus Down the Street?

No, it's called The Spirit of Christmas and it's so freaking cute. I love it. Sounds horrible, I'm not watching this. It's so good. I hate Christmas movies. I hate Christmas movies and I hate Christmas songs. It sucks. Why are you playing the laughing thing? It's cause of her stupid thing. Oh. I hit the wrong button at first. Just cause you guys are Grinches doesn't mean everybody else is. You know what a good Halloween movie is though? Scary Godmother. Hocus Pocus. Hocus Pocus.

Well, Hocus Pocus. But if you're like a child, like a little kid, Scary Godmother is so good. Scary Godmother. Halloween Town. It's the cutest movie in the world. And we can't bring up like Nightmare Before Christmas. Those don't, those don't count. Those are like. Yeah, I agree. I think you can't count those. like the lovey dovey happy ending Christmas movie, ugh. But if it's like Krumpus and somebody's gonna die on Christmas, What's that Santa movie that just came out?

Violent Night. Oh yeah, Violent Night. It's very good. He's fucking people up. It's very good. Oh, like bad Santa Claus? Yeah. Oh, I don't like that one. Violent Night is pretty good. Me and Sean launched it. Okay, um. No, we're not gonna eat. Well, I guess, okay, okay. We can answer this, part six. Star Wars. I think Star Wars holds up and I don't care what anybody says Star Wars old school really good. Um, Yeah, they set the boundary for graphics.

I don't care what anybody says Star Wars was amazing Yeah, I think Star Wars was ahead of its time because they like had the 3d models of like the at ats. Yeah Just fucking legos of things yeah, it's pretty amazing. It's pretty cool. What do you guys have any classic movies? The Those aren't classic. Those aren't classic movies. Those are new waves. No, but Lord of the Rings came out so long ago. That's like 2000s. Yeah, no, we're talking about like 90s and 80s. Like 70s.

Classic movie, The Dark Crystal. It did come out in the 2000s. It did come out in the 2000s. What do you mean? Uh, 2001. It's two years old. No, that's not a classic. Anyways, like the nineties and the eighties. Yeah. I like the dark crystal. Dark crystals. Really good. Um, ultimate movie planning. Okay. What are your top tips for planning the ultimate movie night? The Shining. What do you Me and Shawn plan for like the following weekend. So we'll come up with like movies that we want to watch.

And then we'll plan for the weekend. Like alright, we're gonna watch them in this order. Oh, Titanic. And we're gonna have like snacks. And like we'll order food and stuff. But we have this whole plan. We plan out a week in advance. Yeah. They get, I feel like if you're going to have a movie night, especially at my age, man, you get to like, make sure you sleep in and you get some energy drinks and then you play coffee or take a nap in the mid day and then, and then you're, you're good.

You're good for the night. So. And just get snacks. Yeah. I want to have one of those movie nights you see on Instagram, like outside big screen. Yeah, like you have the wall for it. Hang lights. We do have the wall you there between the garage door and yeah, we could do that big cushiony couches and like you the, or we could just post up and put it on the garage door. Mm. Yeah. I have your neighbor. You could have like a neighbor. Ooh. A little. Little. HOA group. Little HOA moving. Right.

Your neighbor would love you. Yeah. I mean, they already love us. Yeah. Yeah. Only, only one neighbor lives here. Only one neighbor. Well, he's my buddy over here too. Yeah, he fixed our garage. Yeah. He fixed our water pipe. Okay, how do you decide the order of movies in a movie night? Do you go chronological, thematic, or another order? I would say chronological. Yeah, you usually, even if they come out after, you would, you usually google to see how to watch it chronologically.

Like American Horror Story. Or, uh, Aliens. Yeah. Cause they had like a, what is it, what was the one movie that came out? It started with P. Prometheus. Prometheus, oh yeah. Oh yeah, Prometheus and then the other one after that. There's a new one coming out, Rhombus. Yeah, that looks insane. Yeah, I'm excited for it. Sigourney Weaver is producing it, I think. It's gonna be great then. Yo, have you seen the trailer for Borderlands? Mm mm. The game? Mm mm. The movie? The game movie. You never?

Oh my god, it looks good. I haven't seen it yet. Is Borderlands that game that you played? Yeah, it's like the cartoony with a little robot. It's good. Yeah. I'm trying to figure out who's the It's the chick that I have a crush on. You have a crush on? Borderlands movie. He has a crush on a CGI character, guys. Oh, Cate Blanchett. Cate Blanchett. Yeah. They did Galadriel. God, she's so awesome. And Helena, from Yeah, Helena. Helena. She was badass in that movie.

She's badass in like, every movie. I loved her in, um, Oceans 8, I believe she played in? Yeah, she did. She played the cool hipster The cool sidekick. She was very nice. I liked her in, um, Benjamin Button. Oh yeah. That's a good movie. It's so sad. I can't watch that movie. It's too sad. Okay. Comfort and snacks. What are your must have snacks and drinks for movie night? How do you set up your viewing area to be as comfortable and immersive as possible too?

I can say Black Label needs soda, popcorn, and gummies. Gummies. What's my favorite candy? Milk Duds. Milk Duds. Those are the worst candies for you. They are the worst candies. They gave me so many cavities back then. Yeah, they get like stuck in your teeth. But they're delicious. What about you guys? She already answered it for me, I'm good. What do I need? You need soda. I would say popcorn, but you don't really eat popcorn. But if I do want popcorn, which popcorn do I want?

The white cheddar ones in the bag. Yep. And then, do you, you don't usually get gummy. Yeah, you like gummies too, but you like chocolate too. Yeah. I don't know, I don't know what's your go to candy. It kind of just depends on my mood. Yeah. Cause you like those one chocolates, what are they called? With the stuff they're filled in? You know the brookdale ones yeah with the rat with the fruit in them. Yeah. Yeah With the like the chocolate covered.

Yeah blueberry ones What what about you as a leaf? I like, I like like kettle chips, like that crunch. Oh, those are good. Yeah, I need a good kettle chip. Either the um, Hawaiian ones, the sweet and spicy ones, or just like a plain salt one. They hurt my gums. I love those chips. Those chips are really good. Kettle chips are my favorite. And if I had to get like a candy, it'd be like Red Vines or Reese's, cause those are my faves.

Yeah. Yeah. Oh, and I guess a beverage, maybe like a, if I, if I wanna order it, I'd be getting a bubble tea. But if I just have it in the fridge, just like a, like a mountain dew or a root beer. Mm-Hmm. . Um, how do you handle breaks and intermissions do during a movie night? Um. Do you get, do you usually pause it if like one of us or one of you go to the restroom? She does that all the time and I'm like, you don't have to pause it. And sometimes I plan accordingly.

Like, I'll take a break when some shit's going down and it's like getting a little scary and I'm like, I go to the bathroom and I come back out and I'm like, oh, babe. You didn't have to pause it. Nope, we're pausing it. Why? Sean says the same thing, he'll be like, Alright, I'm gonna go to the bathroom. I'm like, I'll pause it. He's like, No, no, no, keep watching. I'm like, I'm pausing it. I don't want to watch that scary part. Yeah, cause you don't want to watch the scary part.

I'm like, we have to share the scary, I gotta go. Men. I guess. Scaredy cats. How do you handle breaks? I just hold it. Okay. I'm waiting. Yeah. Do you guys plan any activities or discussions during breaks to keep the energy up? No. No. I don't. No, we just keep going. Let's go for it. We already, we've watched this movie like a million times. We're just trying to enjoy the, we're trying to enjoy it. Okay. Dream movie lineup.

I already, I have a feeling I'm going to hear the same ones that we've talked about. Heard all night if you could create a dream movie lineup with any movies What would it include what movie would you choose for a first time viewer for your or of your favorite genre? Go ahead and answer your favorite movie line up, Geisha. Uh, Hobbit, Lord of the Rings. Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings. Okay, thank you. What about you? They're so good!

You know what, movies, I think someone who really likes horror genres, or like, suspense, is the Mimic series. The mimics, or not called the with, but it's called Mimic. Yeah, with the roaches. Yeah. Yeah. The little kid with Like Spoon. I think those are, yeah, I think those are movies are, oh my God, the little kids over here. Just the concept of the series is that the roaches were overrunning the city and kids got really sick.

So to counter that, they created this, um, genetically mutated kind of roaches that they released into the city to kill off the regular roaches, which worked, but then the mutated.

Um roaches grew into big ass fucking smart so much that they became like beings with like a like a subconscious like sentient and they could like mimic humans because they're Like shells made like a human face when they close their little claws and you can never see them because they'll be in the shadows They're so fast.

It's so scary but it's like the first movie is like they like try and save this little boy the second movie is like um This guy, he's like really sick so he can't leave his apartment, and then he finds these creatures, and it's just crazy. Yeah. You gotta watch them, they're so good.

I feel like, I wouldn't say it's my dream movie, cause obviously my dream movie would be like, the fantasy ones we've already said, but like an off topic movie type genre that, I would suggest is like, Natural Disaster. One's like, Twister, or like, The Day After Tomorrow. That's a good one, yeah. There's a new Twisters movie coming out. I've seen that. I've seen it. I'm gonna watch that. Or like, Volcano. I don't know if it's called Volcano, it's with Pierce Brosnan. The James Bond guy.

Now I gotta look it up. Volcano. You know what another good one would be? Like the Conjuring ones. Oh yeah. Those are good. All of the Conjuring series though. Like the Annabelle, like all of them. I watched those and those weren't so bad. Dante's Peak. Oh. 1997. You know a good movie? Devil's Advocate. Oh that's a good one. Keanu Reeves. Keanu Reeves. That's a good one. And uh, what's his name? I can't think of his name. What the fuck is his name? He starts with a P. Keanu. Pachino. Pachino.

Oh, yeah. Pachino. Was it, is it Al Pachino? Al Pachino. Yeah. I don't know if I'm saying it correctly. I think you're right. Um. I also like, uh, the Final Fantasy movie. Crysis 4? Oh, no, that's the game. No, uh, I don't even think it has, it's just Final Fantasy, uh, something. It's like Cloud, um, and they're fighting off, um, Sephiroth, The spirit one? No, that's not the spirit one. That's a good one, though. That's a good one. But that's not the one. Yeah, it's not the one.

Okay, um, If you could watch a movie in any setting, Uh, for example, the Millennium Falcon, Hogwarts, Or in, uh, the Castle of Rodan, Or whatever you would say. I don't know, Lord of the Rings. There is no Castle in Rohan, by the way. Whatever, where would it be? Which, if you could pick any setting, which setting would you want to watch a movie in? Room of Requirement? Yes. It's gonna give me everything I need? Yeah, I agree. Dang. I would definitely choose someplace in Hogwarts.

That's such a good idea. Maybe like the Great Hall? You know how like the ceiling will change? Oh my god. What if you could like, it just like, it's the projection. Oh, on the ceiling. So you're all just like laying down and like the food just floats to you and shit. Yeah. It's like, oh my God. Yeah. Or like, you know how the back of the TV will go like blue or something? If it's the ocean? Mm-Hmm.

. What if like the, the ceiling was like, turned into an ocean or an ocean scene or, yeah, I a fire for like a fire scene. Yeah. I don't think you could beat the hog where it's area. Yeah. In a movie thing. It's so hard. 'cause it's magic, magic, magic. It's magic, you know. You know what that's from? Yes. Okay. If you could have any character from one movie make a cameo in another movie, who would it be and what would they do? I would Hmm. That's a hard one.

I would want to see fucking John Wick. Just roll up in some motherfucking hobbit area. It's like you fucking kill my dog Yeah, or maybe like john wick in silence of the lamb, uh, wait, what why so you can just kill him Oh, that would be that would just be like the end of the movie or like the beginning John, we're gonna have to beat up beat up like some little people like uh, or how about hannibal in um, Uh wrong turn Keep joining them people and eating them.

It would be like that one movie with um, God, that one guy. He's a handsome man. I think, I think he's, I think he's gay. Um. You know who I'm talking about? Oh, Luke Evans. Luke Evans. God, that handsome man. He is very handsome. Um, well, he's in a movie where he's like, he kind of like comes off as a normal person, but he's like fucking a psychopath killer. We tried to watch this movie, like, he's like in somebody's body. Somebody's body. He's like hiding in somebody's body and he comes out.

It was like a low budget movie. It wasn't that great, but. Psycho movie. No one lives. No one lives. Yeah. Or how about like, Gerald in the Lord of the Rings? Oh, that'd be freakin badass. That'd be pretty cool. Cause there's like, monsters. Yeah. The big spider. Yeah. It'd be like, fuck. That'd be amazing. Okay. That's a good one. I say Gerald in the Lord of the Rings. What about you, Eslie? You have a character? Hmm. This is a tough one.

I had my answer, but then you started talking about stuff and I was like, Oh, that's amazing. Oh, I was thinking how he could be in Harry Potter. He can turn. He can be like an animagus, but not really. Who's how from how's moving castle. Oh, okay. Okay. He could be like, he can turn into his bird form and he'd be like an animagus. So he technically has magic, but different. What if Hal was Dumbledore's bird? That would be amazing. It'd be fucking weird. He has like this whole secret life.

Yeah, he's just He's like, I'm actually one of the rooms that he can turn into. Yeah. His little sections. Okay, um, if you could change the ending in any movie, Which would it be and how would you change it? I would probably I would change thor Thor, I want a happy ending thor You mean troy troy. Why do I keep saying thor jesus? This is my dyslexia. I tell you I wish um interstellar ended differently. That was so sad. Yeah It was like this says i'm not.

Oh, is that the movie with jennifer lawrence? No, no, that's passengers. That's a fucking sad movie, too no interstellar is with um Uh, what's his name? The guy, he's like, we were talking about him all last time with Uncle Steve. He was like, mm, Intertel. What the fuck are you talking? He made the whatcha talking about tequila. Oh, Matthew mc, Matthew. Okay. Jesus. I couldn't think of his name. You the gun. He goes, he goes, oh, he does the Hmm. Thing too.

He does it in um Oh, WA Wolf Wall Street. Wolf Wall Street. Yeah. But yeah, but that movie really, I think the whole movie is really sad. Not just the ending, but I feel like certain places. Parts in that movie could change to be happier, but the whole movie's sad. Yeah, there's so many movies. There's so many sad movies. Yeah, like the, the passenger was sad. It was very, it was sad for everybody. It was sad for everybody.

And then that one movie, I can't even think of the The ending cast away was devastating. Yeah, jesus man. It's such a sad ending Um, how did it end? He lived no. Yeah, but she moved on even though she really loved him. She moved on so Looked for him though.

Yeah, and he had like all the maps and stuff and was like, yeah for you for like years Yeah, and she loved him and he hadn't like realized like, you know She has a kid with this guy and they moved on It's devastating and it and didn't she keep him going and stuff like the mail of other people? And then he delivered the mail to that that lady at in the middle of nowhere I don't remember. Cause he, he had it with him. Yeah, and he delivered to her at the end of the movie.

Is that the one where he like, didn't open it? Yeah. Yeah. What was it? I don't remember. I don't think they showed it. Yeah, I don't know. And then, um, John Wick. Uh. The dog. Whoever didn't watch that movie. No, John Wick dies in the last movie. Sorry for spoiler alert. I don't remember. John Wick. It's been out for a while. Yeah, it's been out for a while. I thought there was another one coming. And then he died. I mean, I feel like that was a good ending. Like, he had to die.

Yeah. Because, you know, he's just a killing machine. But it was, it was sad. And it was cool because he got the Asian guy to live, but still. Okay, you go, Geisha. I forgot the question. You said Troy, actually, never mind. I did say Troy. Um, if you could add or remove scenes from any movie, what would they be? Like a director's cut type movie. This is, I don't know. At the end of Don't Worry, Darling, that. The ending was just so, it was so abrupt. I wish there was more.

I wish she like, it showed her like moving on with her life and kind of trying to integrate back into society. I just wish there was more to that movie. It was so good. Yeah, I mean I didn't like the ending to Harry Potter. I wish there was more to it. But I guess they're, they're supposed to be releasing something new with his son. But I don't like how they just skipped after like years and like, oh, they got, they hooked up and they got kids. His son has a whole screenplay.

Yeah, I know, I know. But I'm just saying, I didn't like how they just, sped up like 10 years or 20 years or however long it was. Well, they defeated the bad guy. They just lived their life. I guess. I'd prefer them not to have the world. I'd prefer that whole train scene not to even be in there then. This might be an unpopular opinion. As an individual, Ron is great. As, um, a partner to Hermione, I hate it. Oh, yeah. Absolutely hate it. He's not attractive.

He was so mean to her like the entire series. He's, he's not funny. He's lackluster. He's, yeah, Harry Potter should have been with Hermione. I don't think Harry Potter should have been with her, but I just don't agree with Ron being with Hermione. It was just, he was just so mean to her. Harry Potter should have been with the Asian girl. Cho. Cho, yeah. Because I, uh, the sister was not it. She was not it. But, but Cho was wanting some of her, some Edward. She was wanting some Team Edward.

What's his name? Diggory? Yeah, Cedric. Cedric Diggory. Cedric Diggory. My boy! That was so sad. Dude, that was devastating.

so close to crying because that actor did such a good job so sad god i was devastated it was his boy it was his boy okay like disrespected him yeah if you could um replace the soundtrack of a movie with another which ones would you swap oh i don't even know i don't really pay attention to the music really although the music in the lord of the rings is pretty good how about you put like lord of the rings music or is all like epic and like You know like gospely not really necessarily gospel

like folklority, you know with the high pitches to like doom Yeah Yeah, I mean, that'd be pretty funny. Yeah You know, I don't know. I really wish It's it's not a movie, but I wish they would I mean to be honest They kind of did but like I wish they would take like the cyber track or cyberpunk Uh soundtrack and like put it in like I don't know, like a, not John Wick, but a movie like that. Cause that's the cyberpunk soundtrack is phenomenal. Phenomenal. It's good. This is a hard one.

Yeah. Okay. It's all right. It's all right. I don't know how you guys are going to remember this. Um, nostalgia and reflection. Uh, first movie experience. What was your first movie you remember watching and how did it impact you? Chucky Oh, dude, I could think.

Yeah, I remember like it vividly We were at like my dad's girlfriend's house and they were watching chucky and they told me this is a scary movie And then I was in the room I came out to go to the ice box to get like a drink of water or something and I got distracted and I started Watching chucky and it was scary and I was like, fuck this and left Yeah, and then it was the wrong thing Afterwards, um I think, uh, hmm, I think the first movie I remember watching that was like really hard

for me was, uh, I went to the swap meet, uh, on, on South Tacoma, um, but they used to have a drive in theater, and, uh, the first movie I watched there, I mean, obviously it's not the first movie I watched, but I remember it, it was, um, Nightmare on Elm Street. That movie freaked me out as a kid. Yeah, and I had nightmares for a long time and you would have to walk. Yeah, like it was a huge lot, like a huge lot in like to get to the snacks and all the like the like the session area.

It was a far walk and I remember walking all the way to this spot without mom and dad in the dark watching that movie and I was lost and it was scary, but I found my way, but it was freaky. Um, I don't think this is the first movie I watched. But it's the first memory that came to mind. Um, when I was younger. Um, Me and you had separate rooms. Dakota was still a little baby.

So I was in my own room And every night I would wake up and I'd get so scared, but I couldn't go like bother mom and dad So I would put the like scooby doo vhs In the player and I would just rewind it And then play it to go to bed. Yeah to help me go to sleep in the dark I wonder if I remember watching because it was always on repeat. There was a scooby doo stuff on there.

Okay That's I don't remember which Scooby Doo movie, but I remember playing Scooby Doo movies when I was scared and I fell asleep to them. The best Scooby Doo movie is the Zombie Island one. I agree. I agree. Hundred percent. Okay, Zombie Island, and then the um, The witch one. Yes, the witch one. The hex girls. Are you talking about the cartoons? Yeah. Okay, okay. Cause I was thinking, like, the real, like the ones that, the digital. No, no, no. The old school, like.

The digital one they did with, um, his nephew was so horrible. Spooky Island. That's spooky. Yeah, so good though. You like that one? I love all the Scooby Scooby. No, no, no, no, that's the real one, right? Yeah. Oh, I didn't know. Spooky Island with Scrappy Doo. Yeah, and he was the bad guy. Yeah. Yeah, I hate it. I like that one. I like that one too. I could not. I like the monsters one. I like the first one. Why does Kevin Hart remind me of Scrappy Doo? I don't know.

But the zombie and the witch ones were the best. Just saying. Those were the two best ones. Um, how have your, uh, Exactly. We're gonna put a spell on you. How have your movie preferences changed over time? I don't even know. I've always liked scary movies. Yeah. Yeah, I think I've always liked scary movies. I've always been avoiding the occult movies. I dislike thriller suspense movies. It drives me bonkers. It drives Black Label bonkers, too.

Like, I like those movies, but I cannot watch it with Black Label. I'm just like, it's obvious! Yeah, and I talk a lot. So much talk really during the movie and it's not just like with her if i'm by myself That's how I fucking watch movies. Like i'm like sitting here. I'm like, are you fucking so stupid? Like, how do you not? How do you how do you not see this? Or it's like the ones that get me the most is we're watching a movie And damon would be like oh Why'd you do that? You're so stupid.

Why'd you do that? Why'd they do that, babe? Like, I don't fucking know, but they did it, and you can't change it now! She gets so mad at me. to shut up. Watch the movie. Yeah. Yeah, I am. That's why I like horror movies, cause you can't, you're so into, you're just like And then suspense, I'm just like, Come on! They're right there! Yeah. Um, What's the longest movie you've ever watched? Did you manage to stay awake through it all? I don't know.

Man, there was one movie that was fucking long, and I can't think of it. I don't know. I don't think I've ever watched a really long movie, thankfully. Yeah. Um, I try and keep it short and sweet. Yeah. I think like an hour and a half, hour 45 is a good sweet spot. Yeah. Um, I, I'm trying to think. Oh, here we go. Um, oh, that's a long ass movie. I didn't realize that was that long. Titanic was really long. Oh yeah, Titanic was really long. Remember back in the old days, there was two VHSs.

You had to like write when it was like, Draw me like you draw your French girls. It stopped and you had to put it in. Yeah, it was two VHS movies. You had this you're making me feel super old right now. I we didn't have a lot of privileges as children, so I don't remember it having very much. But yeah, it was two. You had to like stop and put in the second cassette tape to finish the movie. Yeah, Lord of the Rings, uh, Return of the King was actually 3 hours and 20 minutes, 21 minutes.

That's a long movie too. Is that the extended edition? I don't know, but Harry, or not Harry Potter, Avatar, the new Avatar was really long too. Oh that's true, the new Avatar was lackluster. Yeah, it was, yeah I didn't really like it. It was sad though. The old school Cleopatra movie, guess how long this was? 3 hours. 4 hours and 4 minutes long. The one with, what's her face? 3 Um, I don't know. Are you over there holding your mic like a g?

You're just like i'm holding my belly Because I want to lean back. Yeah, i'm just holding my mic. I'm holding it with my tummy right now. Cool. Good story. Yeah um Have you ever watched a challenging or confers or a controversial movie? How did you feel about it? Yeah, I watched a lot of those and I couldn't watch them. Um, What is that movie with um? Hold on. I like the lincoln lawyer. I think that's what it's called with matthew mcconaughey You Is that what it's called?

Yeah. I know he's in that movie, but I don't know what it's about. Yeah, I like that movie. I don't know if it's controversial, but it's kind of controversial to me, because it's like a black man's blamed for, um, a r word, um, but it was a bunch of white men. Yeah. It was like, um. American History X with Edward Norton. Yeah, I was thinking of that one too. I can't watch movies that are like racist. Yeah. Like racism. It gets me heated, but I'm just like, Oh, I hope you get what you deserve.

Especially when it's like a historical one and I'm like, I already know the history. I'm like, man, I fucking, I just hate watching historical stuff. It's, it's, but it's so good. Cause it's just like. It's not bad. The ending's not, like, bad, but, like, the movie's bad, right? But it's, like, a good kind of outcome, I think, for a movie. Yeah. Um, have you ever had a movie night go wrong? What happened? How did you handle it? I don't know.

I think, like, you just don't like watching movies with me in general. Cuz I talk a lot. You talk so much. Even when we watched, uh, Five Nights at Freddy's with all the kids. You just kept talking. I kept talking. And like, I'm sorry, but like, the kids pick up on your talking and then they'll talk. And I'm just like, everyone's talking. The girls talk. Stop talking, be quiet, and watch the movie. Yeah. And they're all asking questions like that. Why are they doing that?

Well, you need to be more interactive with each other. You are just like No, it's a movie. Why would you be interactive during a movie? You're watching the movie to find out the plot of the story and the ending of the story. You know what? I'm just gonna start watching movies by myself. Go ahead. I will. I would be perfectly fine watching movies by myself too. Questions should be held at the end of the movie because then you can have a discussion about it. Exactly. My god.

Because you're going to ask a question and then it's going to be answered like 30 minutes later in the movie. Azalea, can you please ask, or answer the question now? What was the question? I'm so into your guys questions. Have you ever had a movie night go wrong? Um, not go wrong, but we kind of have like movie nights where one of us falls asleep early. Yeah, yeah. Where we're just like, it's just a long day and we're just like knocked out an hour into the movie.

Have you ever watched a movie that didn't, that you didn't expect to like but ended up loving? The Lord of the Rings. Yeah, you remember I thought I was like, this is so stupid. Yeah, I ended up loving it. I don't think so Oh, you know, I have another one the moulin rouge that is my guilty pleasure movie I love that movie Yeah It's my go to. I think my go. I think my guilty pleasure is coyote ugly and you know, I have some So many guilty pleasure movies.

Um, what's that movie on Netflix, babe, that I watch all the time? Uh, documentaries about murder. Would you, we should do a topic about your vision, your vision, fire. So I fucking love that movie. Yeah. She does watch that movie a lot. What about you? Hmm. I don't really, I can't think of one. Okay. Okay. What do you put on when you're just like, I love this movie and I'm just going to use it as background noise. Doom. Because I know everything about this movie.

Doom. If it's on like Prime or Peacock or Netflix, it's getting played. I think the movie that I fell asleep to the most was probably Underworld. Hmm. I used to play that movie back like all the time. I love Underworld. Um, have you ever watched a movie recommended by a listener? No, but I will watch Cloud Atlas. Yes. Yes. Um. How do you involve friends and families to your movie nights? Do you have fun family traditions or rituals? Yeah, we, uh, slay a sheep, and Drink its blood?

Drink its blood. No, just kidding. We don't do that. We do not do that. Um, You guys have movie nights with the kiddos sometimes? Sometimes. It's hard. It is. It's really hard because everybody talks all the time. God, I just wish they would just stop talking and asking questions. They have like, you know, Inside Out 2 is coming out soon? Yeah, I'm probably not gonna watch it. I'll probably cry. Dude, the first one was so sad. Bing bong. I was crying.

This is about, like, the daughter growing up and the mom's like, yeah, I'm probably not gonna watch that. It's, I heard it's, And I'm like, I'm all about it. Yeah, no, isn't it already out? It's already out in theaters. Um, maybe. It probably just came out recently. Cause I seen a clip of a mom watching it. And it was like 10 minutes in. And she was like, yeah. And then it was like halfway in. And it showed the mom bawling. And the daughter was just watching it. I'm gonna cry my eyeballs out.

Yeah. Um, There's no fun activities when you watch a movie. No, you're just watching a movie. Okay, rapid fire questions, alright? Quick, fast. Okay, fast. Favorite movie snack? Red Vine. Chips. Uh, Milk Duds. Most overrated movie in your opinion? Oh, I don't know. The second Avatar. Was that even rated high? I think Avatar in general for me. Yeah. I don't like that movie. Okay, The Notebook. That's a good one. Um, a movie you can watch over and over without getting bored.

Probably all the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Hobbit. Fire Saga. John Wick. Or Grave Encounters. Okay, these are hypothetical scenarios. Now Rapid Fire No More. If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? That's a hard one. Because I would choose The Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit or Fire Saga. The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit would be like, you know, when I want to sit down and pay attention and I want the super adventure.

But I would like Fire Saga just for like goofing off, having fun, makes me happy. Yeah. Puts me in a good mood. That's a tough one. Yeah, this is a tough one. Cause I really like the Conjuring movie, but That I could watch the rest of your life though. But Harry Potter number four, the Goblet of Fire? Yeah. I would say Firestalker. Firestalker. Just because fire saga puts me in such a good mood. It makes me happy.

Yeah, I like this part number four I like the second hobbit With the the dragon smog smog the desolation of smoke. Yeah Um, it's so good. We need I like the rapid fire like we need more rapid fire questions We should just do a whole episode of just rapid fire questions. Uh, I mean, that'd be ridiculous, but okay. It'd be pretty fast. I like the rapid fire questions. Just add more rapid fire questions for Geisha.

Okay, if you could, if you had to live in a world of one of the movies you've watched, which one would it be? Harry Potter. I want to be a wizard. I'd be a pretty good one. Or a witch. I like that one. I like that one. Yeah, I'd probably say Harry Potter area. But I would want to be a wizard, not like a freaking, um, what are they called? Moogles? I wouldn't want to be a muggle. I'd totally be a, uh, what's it called? A Pureblood? No. A, um Twilight. Oh, a Death Eater? A Death Eater.

I would love to. This one. Oh, a Death Eater. I'd totally be a Death Eater. I would want to live in, uh, Twilight. Just to be bad. Be a vampire. Oh my god. Sparkle in the sun. Sparkle in the sun. Glistening. You guys are funny. Fast. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Um, did you have one? That's in Harry Potter. Harry Potter is such a good, like, fantasy world to live in. Cause it's like, it's not that dangerous. And if you have magic, then it's like, you're kind of okay.

What's that, we saw this one meme where he was like, Avada Kedavra ing everybody and he's like, I only need this one spell! Oh yeah, uh, yeah yeah yeah. And he's like, Avada Kedavra! He's like what I don't play that shit about a cadaver. I only need one spell. Yeah, I'm like, no, I'm not no I'm not there's no talking Summarize these are our final thoughts. Okay summarize your thoughts on a movie night. Why are they so enjoyable? Family friends watching a movie eating snacks. That's what I think.

I Would say the same It gives my brain time to just relax, because I'm just focused on something that's like nonsensical most of the time, and I'm just like, yes. And there's some movies, like, I totally forgot all about Fire Saga, Eurovision, that movie just puts me in a good mood. Like, I don't know why, but I just love that movie so much. It's just, it's my happy movie. Next time I'm mad at you, Black Label, just put Fire Saga on. Okay. Like on all the channels. Watch her watching it.

Wherever I go. Yeah. Here in the birdhouse. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay, well that was it, um, I would like to thank, uh, our, what, our, the person that said to watch Cloud Atlas, Bviv, Bviv92. Bviv, Yeah, Bviv. We will definitely watch it. Um. We would like your thoughts on the next podcast about it. Yeah, we, yeah, it's very important whether, whether it's one person or not, you know, it's cool. Yeah, we like the interaction.

I'll try and get Sean to watch it with me so we can all have opinions on it. Yeah, and um, yeah, again, we're not gonna be here next week. We'll have two episodes the following. Okay. Yes. Yes. Um, please don't miss us too much. Yeah. Don't miss us too much. And I'm, I'm playing that other song on the outro or not. Okay. That shit's, that shit's hard. It is going to be like two minutes, but we're listening to it. So whatever. Um, you want to close this out?
