5 PM ET: Iran blasts, state capitols threatened, winter storm & more

More than 100 people were killed and almost 200 people injured in twin explosions that rocked Iran today. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer says there’s been some progress in negotiations over US border policy, but sources say major hurdles remain. Multiple state capitol buildings were evacuated today after officials across the country received a mass email threat. A source tells CNN an imam has died after being shot outside of a New Jersey mosque early this morning. And, parts of the East Coast could see their first substantial snowfall in almost two years.
