This week we explore the chilling case of Mackenzie Lueck, a 23-year-old University of Utah student whose life was tragically cut short on June 17, 2019. Mackenzie, a bright and vibrant young woman, was reported missing after a late-night Lyft ride. Her bound, burned, and buried remains were discovered weeks later, sending shockwaves through her community and beyond.
In October 2020, Ayoola Ajayi pleaded guilty to Mackenzie Lueck's murder and was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
