Episode description

Gardening heals me. Being with plants gentles my thoughts and helps me let go of pain. In this episode that I'm dedicating to a dear friend I lost earlier this year, I invite you to join me in that space - sit with me in my backyard, and this time let's not talk about anything.

Let's just be together, outside.

Earlier this year, I lost somebody really important to me. Uh, it was my friend Marcello. We'd known each other for 20 years. We'd moved to New York together. we'd been through so much together and it's been with me, um, since it happened. And one of the things that's really helped me through this really difficult journey of just kind of accepting things as they are and learning to live with it is being able to come out into my garden.

Just see this guy get to know some of the new plants feel more connected to the place that I live. So I wanted to do something a little different for this episode. I wanted to dedicate this episode to him, and so what I'm gonna do, I'm just gonna spend some time in my garden and invite you to spend this time with me as well. I'm not gonna talk, we're not gonna learn anything today. I just wanna spend this time with you, um, and the plants and the dirt. Use this time, however you want to use it.

Think about people who you love in your. Just relax or let your mind wander. Yeah, so let's get to it. Okay, Thank you so much for joining me on Plant Time for Clippings. This is to.
