Time for a postgame Look, it's your La Clippers. This is Clippers Locker Road, brought to you by Cedars Sinai, the official health partner of the La Clippers, and by Putschonga, official travel casino of the LA Clippers. Breaking down today's action with the pre and post game voice. If you're La

Clippers, They're locking in every game every night. Adam Osland Big time defense being played in Big D by the Dallas Mavericks as the Clippers are held to ninety points and lose Game three by a final score of one on one to ninety. Welcome in your postgame show. This is your Clippers locker room show. I'm Adam Oslin coming up on the Patriot Am eleven fifty. We'll have clipperstock for you. Eight seven seven five to two zero eleven fifty eight seven

seven five to two zero eleven fifty. But first back out to American Airlines Center with your voice of the Clippers in Carlo Jimenez Carlo. In this one, the Clippers just once again could not get their offense unglued. They were stuck in mud. There were some uncharacteristically performances from Paul George and Kawhi Leonard James Harden had a hot first half but really cooled down after that, and the Clippers just didn't have enough to keep up with Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncis

down the stretch in this one. No, I mean at the end of the day, and then the Clippers they got it close a couple times, but they just couldn't get over the hill. Kyrie, Irving and Dallas built that lead in Irving really kept them aflow nineteen points in the second half for him. The Clippers couldn't find a rhythm offensively. Credit Dallas. I mean

it started with the Lobs early. I thought they were excellent attacking above the rim, something we hadn't seen all series with something they had done all year. Second in the NBA and dunks since acquiring Gafford and Washington. And so for the Clippers, there's a lot to think about in this one. I thought, obviously, the first thing that jumps off the page of me at him nineteen turnovers allowing twenty nine points. Not gonna win a lot of all

games when that is the number. But there aren't positives to take away from this one. Norman Powell was excellent seven for eleven of the game. He had twenty one off the bench. It was great to see him get in rhythm of eats zubats once again. I mean, I mean, you've been screaming it from the mountain, yelling it with your signs and posters. But nineteen points on eight for eleven, I thought he remained well. James Harden

being aggressive shooting the basketball. What was interesting to meet at him is Tyl looseid. He wants PG and James to shoot ten or more threes. No one got to ten threes in this one, and see if the Clippers have more of a considered effort to shoot the three next time. But at the end of the day, the Clippers lost the game, and you got a chance to salvage that all on Sunday. You can win that game. And this game goes into the bank as just another loss for the Clippers. But

the pressure mounts big time for Game four, no doubt about that. They have to regroup and they have to refocus. Here I'm looking at Paul George, who once again got into foul trouble early and it just seems to take him out of his offense. Just taking eleven shots in this ball game. I know he only ended up playing thirty minutes, but it's not enough.

He either has to get it going. The Clippers are in deeper trouble against this Dallas Mavericks team because Kawhi Leonard quite frankly, did not look right in this game. In fact, he looked better on Tuesday night where he played thirty five minutes. Tonight just twenty five and ended up being a blowout late,

so they took him out of the ball game. But you could see the timing the turnovers that he was having just so out of character for Kawhi Leonard, who's so sure handed with the basketball, with those big hands, and he had four of them and they just looked I don't know, it was foreign to me seeing Kawhi Leonard have those type of turnovers. You could see the rhythm, the timing isn't there, and Paul George has to lead in those situations one hundred percent, and he struggled in this one from the

field just three for eleven, one for five from three seven points. If you're looking at the Clippers side, Paul George isn't going to have a game like this again in this series. I mean, he just doesn't have back to bet games where he's not scoring double figures. Hopefully, this is a game in which you know, we're talking about Kawhi Leonard taking a step forward next time, finding a little more that rhythm, not a step backwards like

he did from game two, and Terrence Man's gonna hit a shot. Russell Westbrook hopefully attacks the rim a little bit more and gets inside the lane. The Clippers, there's things to take away. You're gonna have duds in the playoffs. This was, no doubt a dud for them. I thought they're excellent on their defense on Luka Donci Chatham was the best it has maybe been in the playoffs. I mean, twenty two points to get there on twenty

five shots. They made him work. This is the guy who averages thirty two in the playoffs, highest among active players, thirty seven against the Clippers, and he had twenty two today and had to get twenty five shots to get there. Three for thirteen from three. The Clippers have the blueprint on Doncic. There is no doubt. It's the question of can you do it offensively? Not probably what we thought we would say during this series, but

that seems to be the sigma the puzzle for the Clippers right now. I'm gonna hold back on going that far with Luca Doncis because he could obviously go for a huge Game four, but I agree with you their defense has been very good. Russell Westbrook early on, I think took him out of a rhythm, but it was a hot blooded, chippy ball game with ejections including

PJ. Washington and Russell Westbrook. Late. Russ was playing with a ton of emotion out there, but it just felt like there were a couple runs that Dallas had where Russ was forcing things on the offensive end, taking some tough three pointers. We know that's not his shot, and he finished just

zero of seven to nineteen minutes. We like the energy from Russ, but I think he's just got to rein it in a little bit here, and the Clippers just have to regather themselves a little bit heading into that game four, because, as you mentioned, they're in the lions Den right now, and the Dallas Mavericks seemed to feed off that energy from Russell Westbrook, booing him every time he had the basketball, every time at the free throw line

when calls went against him. It just seemed like it almost gave the opposition energy in this case, which is something we're not used to seeing. Yeah, I mean he became enemy number one in this building, which is nothing

new for Russell Westbrook. I mean that's he's been enemy number one a lot of his career and a lot of buildings in the NBA, but definitely tonight in this one, felt like he gave them an extra step while he gave the Clippers an extra step to begin the game with the way he had blocks and steals. Clippers, something's gotta click for this team at him, because they just they didn't have it going early. I think Paul George started three for four. I think he missed his last seven shots in this game.

I have to get double check that it was either three for four or two for three one of those. But really really struggled down the stretch the offense. I think if James Harden doesn't have it going, I mean we talked about it, but the stretch with plumb Ley's on the floor for seven straight minutes that it felt like the Clippers maybe had an opportunity to get Zubotz back into the game earlier. I think if you're tylu Adam keep off eat to

Zubats on the floor. Give it to him. He's been so good for this Clippers team, so good, I mean, I hope he gets seventeen shots again in Game four. The Clippers don't have to get too fancy. Feed Big Zoo, get out of the way, play old school basketball. I know everyone's in love with the threes and the big time shots, the step back, the isolation plays, but I'd love to see the Clippers post Zoo up until Dallas stops it two possessions in a row. No, completely,

they're over complicating things. They have an advantage there with Big Zoo, who was eight of eleven for his nineteen points, but only getting eleven shots when you're by far the most efficient guy out there, that is, getting the best looks at the basket and playing with force, and to only get thirty two minutes after playing just thirty three in game two. To me, if anybody's gonna play forty minutes in Game four, it's gotta be a vitza

Zoo bots because we know how good he is on the defensive end. Two when he's given you great offensive possessions, it's really a bonus, but it's necessary in this series against the Dallas Mavericks. To me, that is a path to victory for this Clippers team with the struggles with the jump shooting going on right now, find Big Zoo for some easy ones early and often. And speaking of we got an early contests coming up for Game four on Saturday.

Make it Sunday in Dallas. Tiptime is at twelve thirty. We will have your pregame show starting at eleven thirty. Carlojmenez, my guy, great call. Coming up on the Patriot AM eleven fifty, we'll have Clippers Talk eight seven seven five two zero eleven fifty

eight seven seven five two zero eleven fifty. But well, we have a moment. Let's pause ten seconds for station identification here in Los Angeles Clippers Audio network. This it is LA Clippers Basketball AM eleven fifty k EiV, Los Angeles about and iHeartRadio station. Clippers ended up. It seems far too respectable for the final score, shooting forty five percent from the floor, but the

problem was they only got up seventy shot attempts. Dallas had eighty six sixteen more why offensive rebounds eleven to eight in favor of the Dallas Mavericks, and the Clippers had ten more turnovers, nineteen turnovers leading to twenty nine points. Just beating yourself at that point, self inflicted wounds. Can't win a ball game, can't win a play off game when it's played at a slower pace

because you're supposed to be valuing possessions more and you have nineteen turnovers. Ugh, you're just putting yourself in enough hill battle and the Clippers were after getting off to a quick start twenty three to eighteen in the first quarter. It's not as if their offense was great, but Dallas was missing early on. And I'm certainly not putting it on one guy. I'm putting it on a

lineup I didn't love with Evitza's zoo Bots being out. It was Mason Plumley at the center position, I want to say, late in the first quarter, early in the second quarter, and the Clippers got beat up something fierce. I thought they let go of the lead when they led by six at twenty six to twenty, and really, we're only scoring because James Harden was knocking down threes and just got scorching hot. It wasn't running their offense,

it was just Isoball Harden got hot. They found him. It's not sustainable him hitting four to three pointers in the span of I want to say, about four minutes, and when those stopped falling, what offense are you falling back on? How do you get back into a flow? The Clippers never really did. They led by eight after a James Harden make it seven three

pointer at the nine oh eight. Mark Luca answered right after that with a three of his own, and then Dallas started to make their run and they went up after Derek Jones three pointer at the six point fifty mark, thirty seven to thirty two, and I don't believe they ever looked back after that. The Clippers scored just eighteen points in that second quarter. They got doubled

up thirty six to eighteen in favor of Dallas in those twelve minutes. But the lineup that was out there, I first guessed it it was a mere coffee next to I want to say it was Mason Plumley, Norman Powell, it was Russell Westbrook out there, and James Harden that five without Kawhi because he's dealing with the right knee injury, without Paul George because he got into foul trouble. That was in early momentum swing where the Clippers just gave it

right back. Leading by six, not a huge number, leading by seven, not a huge number, but the Clippers at least were playing good enough defense and had some semblance of an offense, and then it just went away. They relied on isoball and not a system out there, and they fall one one to ninety in Game three in Dallas. More on this box, who are coming up? Plus we'll have Clippers stick for you on the Patriot Ame eleven fifty eight seven seven five two zero eleven fifty eight seven seven five

to two zero eleven fifty. We'll talk about some of the emotionally charged plays in this game. Russell Westbrook with a flagrant one and then later being ejected. He and PJ. Washington russ in nineteen minutes over seven one point four from three is really the number that stands out. More Clippers postgame locker room coming up next here in Los Angeles Clippers Audio Network streaming Clippers basketball the first

round of the NBA Playoffs continues. Back to more NBA Playoff basketball right here on the LA Clippers Audio Network. Clippers fall in Game three, one on one, two ninety another inept offensive performance and Kawhi Leonard doesn't look right. Fact, you looked worse in this game movement wise, production wise, nine points in twenty four minutes, four of seven shooting. He still outscored Paul George, which is pretty inexcusable. PG thirteen three of eleven. He's not

the one dealing with an injury. He's dealing with foul trouble and it seems to be affecting him and getting into his head. Three of eleven from the field, seven points in a game three where the team that wins Game three wins a series after it's tied one to one seventy four percent of the time. So big loss for the Clippers, who were led by James Harden with twenty one. While that damage was done in the first half, Norm Powell

was very good bounced back performance from him after the first two games. He had twenty one off the bench, four of six from three. Well, what stings is Luca was seven for twenty five. You can't lose that game when Luca is that off and looked hurt himself, left for a little bit with the knee injury, came back in still had some critical plays, and then Kyrie Irving with I want to say it was nineteen of his twenty one points in the second half, big shots fall away three to his left.

Insane, Clippers in trouble down two games to one. Game four is coming up on Sunday, pregame at eleven thirty, tip off at twelve thirty. Outside of Los Angeles, we were leaving you until then. You hear me right now, your host on your home for the Clippers. They were in attack mode, Adam Ousley. Oh,

this is a tough one, Clibernation. They fall in Game three, one on one to ninety in a game where two one three probably had their worst playoff game together. We'll talk about it here on Clippers Talk on the Patriot AM eleven fifty eight seven seven five two zero eleven fifty eight seven seven five to two zero eleven fifty A, Madame Moslin, this is Clipper's Talk. We'll get to your phone calls. I think we'll hear from Will Updyke,

from Clips and dip gonna hear from the head coach post Game two. Clippers started off leading after the first quarter, but something that stood out to me that was alarming right off the bat was Kawhi Leonard was taken out at the six minute mark of the first and he didn't come back in will. He only had played four more minutes in the second quarter, so ten minutes he played total in the first half. To me, that was a bad sign.

I don't know if we'll hear anything about how he's doing on the right knee, but playing less minutes after playing thirty five in Game two Tuesday night and only playing twenty five tonight isn't a good sign. Neither was his lack of aggressiveness and the uncharacteristically bad turnovers by Kawhi. He just looks out of sorts, and I was really hoping he could build off some of those flashes he had in Game two, because I'm here to tell you this with everybody

saying, well, maybe they shouldn't play them at all. They're better without Kawhi Leonard. They won Game one without him. They won Game one because of fluky hot shooting from the outside, where they hit eighteen threes. That masks a lot of their issues offensively right now, and there are issues. You scored ninety points in a ballgame, you have nineteen turnovers, you unravel against Dallas, and this defense that I tried to warn everybody about that has

been top ten the second half of the season. Much to be concerned with with this Clippers team and that performance. I said on Twitter, I don't know if you can have a burn the tape light game in the playoffs. You want to learn and adjust and you have to watch it. But if there was ever a game where you would just light it on fire afterwards, kill it with fire, it would be this one. Kawhi Leonard doesn't look right because of his injury, and Paul George doesn't look right because he can't

stay out. A foul trouble was even worse in this game. Picked up three fouls in the first half. Fourth foul, I want to say, early in the third quarter. Looks frustrated in his own head, wondering why in a game that they've been calling so loosely, with the physicality out there, why he maybe is being targeted. He was frustrated last game about it.

There were some tiki tak calls. There were also some defensive lapses by the Clippers that just can't happen, and Paul George has to stay in the game, and I mean even when he's out there, stay in the game. Seven points on three of eleven shooting one of six from the outside cannot happen. When you know Kawhi Leonard is battling through entury, you're the other guy. James Harden pulled his weight to some degree. He kept the Clippers

afloat in the second quarter by just going nuclear from distance. Finished with twenty one points seven of thirteen shooting five elevate from the outside. Probably should have gotten up more than thirteen shots, but Paul George space cadeting in this game. He got into it with coach lou on the bench after his fourth foul, and Russell Westbrook got into it with the Dallas Mavericks and their entire fan base. Russ was bringing great energy initially, great defense on Luka Dancish caused

a couple of steals. The Clippers were in control up twenty three to eighteen after the first quarter, but that foul I believe on Josh Green on the breakaway dunk where Russ did go for the block, but he still got a flagrant, and he got the fans up in arms and energized their fan base in the Dallas Mavericks team. He ignited the wrong team. His emotions completely got the best of them. He ends up getting ejected in the game later on after a hard foul on Luca where he had him spinning, and then

Luca came over to say something and Russ pushed him. PJ. Washington pushed Russ. He pushed him back. It was just a circus, just out of control. Can't happen, not a game like this. Gotta stay level headed, channel your emotions the right way. He's been great at that with this Clippers team. He's been their heartbeat, their soul at times, the

drama of this team. And then some tonight in a game where he went oh of seven and took to awful three pointers when the Clippers were making a run and chipping away at an eighteen point lead that I want to say they had down to six in the third quarter momentum killing three pointers from Russ. It's not his shot, it's not what he does, it's not his forte, it's not why he's the top seventy five player of all time. You have to be careful, you have to play within yourself, and I just

felt like that was a little too much hero ball. I'm not saying that's the reason the Clippers lost the ball game those minutes. As I mentioned earlier in the postgame show, with Mason Plumley playing seven straight to start off the second quarter, ineffective minutes at that. He didn't look good in Game two, he didn't look good in Game three. Don't think he played any in the second half. Now I ended up getting three more somewhere. Didn't like

that lineup. I believe it was Plumbley, Russell Westbrook, a mere coffee, James Harden, and Norman Powell, who actually did have a good ballgame. They need more from him. In thirty minutes, he had twenty one points, four of six from the outside. But this offense looks clunky, unfocused. They look like that intentionality is missing. And if you want to say it's because Kawhi Leonard and they're trying to force things with him, I

didn't think they were in this game. I thought he tried to ease his way into it more, get into the flow, only taking seven shots when he took seventeen on Tuesday Night speaks to that. You want to say it's about Kawhi Leonard, I think you're missing the big picture. I don't think the Clippers offense was very good in Game one, outside of hot shooting from the outside, going fifty percent from three and making eighteen of them. I

think it covered up an offense that hasn't looked good so far. And the Dallas Mavericks, especially since Game one with Jason Kidd calling him out for a lack of physicality, have been the tougher team out there defensively, and they must have gotten close to ten lobs in this game after I want to say, not having more than one he won the first two games. I don't know if coach lou was out chess matched because coming into it we all thought,

oh, they're gonna go small with Maxi Kliba. That's been effective for them, and they threw him for a loop because Gafford started off quick. He had a couple of putbacks, Derek Lively had thirteen off the bench, a couple of blocks. Their bigs played much better, and the Clippers continue not to give theirs enough opportunities Beatza Zubots can't only take eleven shots in a game where everybody else is having trouble scoring outside of him and Norman Powell,

and he only plays thirty two minutes. Still played thirty three Tuesday night, like he could have gone the entire second half. They took him out to go small. They got beat They were minus four tonight. He's eight of eleven in his thirty two minutes and has nineteen and eight. Give him more run. Where's the desperation, where's the urgency? It's the playoffs, It's game three? Whin are a Game three in a series tied one to one wins the series seventy four percent of the time. I would have let it

ride further. I don't understand how Mason Plumbley can go seven straight minutes in the second quarter. It was bad basketball. He just hasn't been good enough the last two games. He's an older player, doesn't have the same ability he used to. Daniel Tye still hasn't sniffed the floor in this series. I get you're trying to match him up. I guess against Derek Lively because of his size, but his defensive instincts aren't very good and Dallas was thriving.

With him on the floor, He very quickly was a minus ten out there. The Clippers were up seven. You can say it wasn't because of a sound offensive system, but a system and James Harden his nickname, was at least getting it done from the outside. Hit four three pointers. But defensively they're just letting Dallas off the hook, playing big plumb. In that second quarter, where Dallas was most successful, scoring thirty six points, they

doubled up the Clippers thirty six to eighteen in that second quarter. To me, that was the first big turning point. That lineup in the second quarter, without Kawhi out there, without Paul George out there because he had his third foul, and without a Visa Zubats in there. That the RUSS flagrant on Josh Green, which got Dallas into it, got him hot. That

was the first big turning point. But then in the third don't understand why when it's a six point game, Russell Westbrook is out there taking two, yes, wide open three pointers. There's a reason for it. That's part of Dallas's game plan to give him wide open shots like that. It's a six point game. The Clippers have just gotten back into it, and Russ has back to back missed threes. He was already oh for two. I think at that point, why is he taking a third, let alone a

fourth. He didn't make a shot in the game, and I thought we might be seeing a replay of what happened in Game three and twenty twenty one down nineteen with the Clippers come back. They were down eighteen in this one in the third quarter and they just started playing low IQ basketball. As Patrick Ewing would say, do you practice that shot? Is that your shot? I know russkn hit some clutch ones here and there, it's not a shot,

and it wasn't necessary. They had a pass go right through his hands from Viza Zubots after he had a turnover trying to find Big Zoo, and the Clippers still stood that Zoo had a big and one Norm Powell was fouled on a three and they had it down to six points in the third that was their shot. Instead, Russ started taking the long type of shots.

It's not his game. He should have been attacking, getting downhill, getting two on the basketball and finding others because it's just killing your space and playing four on five out there. Because they're not even guarding Russell Westbrook on those

threes that he missed. I don't know if it's pride messing with them, as Marcelos Wallace would say, in a way, I don't know what it was, but I think he got too far into an individual battle because emotions were high as he was chirping with players out there, the crowd was on top of them. But it just ended up being out of control. Can't happen in a playoff game, especially in a game where you just battled back

and had it to within six after you were down eighteen. Clippers lose one on one to ninety in Dallas in Game three to the Mavericks, Quick time out. We'll come back. We'll get your phone calls. Eight seven seven five to two zero eleven fifty eight seven seven five to two zero eleven fifty is the phone number. I'm at a Mosland and you're listening to Clippers Talk

on the Patriot AM loven fifty, Bill Mavericks and the Clippers. This is the NBA Playoffs on the La Clippers Audio Network stream us anywhere you go on the iHeartRadio app. Welcome back in I'm out of Mosland. After the Clippers fall in Game three one on one to ninety to the Dallas Mavericks. They had nineteen turnovers. Kawhi had some turnovers that were just head scratching, strange to see type of miscues with his handle, which is one of the best

in the NBA. That to me says he's just not right. Yet you never see that from Kawhi eight seven seven five to zero eleven fifty eight seven seven five two zero eleven fifty. I'm out of moslind you're back in on the Patriot AM eleven fifty after the Clippers go down two games to one in this best of seven series. I got a lot of calls here Corey in La. You're on Clipper stack with Adamasen. Yes, sir, how you doing well? I think you heard. What's up? Corey? How you

doing? Honestly, in a vacuum, I would say, you know, Game two we had the excuse of we just shot like crap and Kawhi was coming back. And Game three, on paper, it's an eleven point game. We shot better than them. We basically won all the stats except, as you mentioned, turnovers and second chance points, which obviously when I think they had eighteen more shots than we did. I think I want to say they had like five or six offensive rebounds on the first quarter. Dallas.

Yeah. But so you know, like the optimist in me says, oh, you know, like we're just playing like, you know, crap, and these are things we can six. But you know, when a guy comes back from the inflammation and he plays thirty five minutes, you can kind of chalk it up to being rusty. The rotations, say, were a little bit worries. So obviously you play six minutes I think in the first quarter, then you sit for eleven minutes, and you play a total of

twenty five minutes. That's when I knew something was up. Corey he goes out at the six minute mark, and I'm waiting and I'm waiting and I'm waiting. I thought he was going to start the second quarter, and Kawhi Leonard didn't come back. My guess is it was either a twenty five minute restriction or thirty which is not good because he just played thirty five on Tuesday night. Yeah, so that's not trending in the right direction. But did you see so the first play of the game, he got an end one.

I think and he looked a little bit shooken up, shaking up. But I think what stood out to me was if you remember the sequence where he had the dunk and then the value he hung on the rim, yeah, for maybe ten seconds, looking like, as long as I touch the ground in slow motion, I'll be okay, you're right. Otherwise this is gonna this is going to sting. So I just like, I'm not a doctor. I'm just a lifelong self hating Clipper fan, the most loyal fan

based in the world. But uh, I just don't I mean, I'm not a doctor, like I said, but me inflammation, I don't see how you go from thirty five to twenty five and clearly are injured and then expected to Just I don't think this is a rust thing, is my point. And so yeah, I think we're clearly the better team when we're healthy. I like we've been. We've been. We've been doing a fantastic job on Luca and Kyrie, and you know, their defense are defensive ratings great,

their offensive ratings not great. In the series, we're holding them, you know, to one hundred points. But Kawhi is just not right, and so I think it's just it's unfortunate and it's it's honestly, it's dejecting as a Clipper fan. Just year after year. Just yeah, this this era somehow become more frustrating the lobstate, and I feel like a doomer right now. But I just when he hung on the rim for ten seconds and then came down, that to me just said a lot. So anyway,

that's my rant. It's a fair point, Corey. I appreciate the phone call. Calling on Sunday, hopefully under better circumstances. This era is being defined by injuries right now. That's the truth. The Clippers losing two games where Dallas only scored one hundred and one points to ninety six points is unfathomable. When coming into this series, everyone would have thought, oh, first to one twenty wins, who gets more stops? And now this all right?

Kawhi Leonard didn't look right. That was an important moment. I was excited by the fact that he was able to get up for that allue. But remember he's a left leged jumper. He uh doesn't need his right leg necessarily to get up off the ground. It was coming back down afterwards. I was extremely concern for Kawhi right after that first stint, because I thought he was going to come back to start the second quarter. When that didn't happen, I knew something was up. Gilbert in West Covina. You're on

Clipper staff with that, Am Austen, what's up, Adam? First time caller, A long time listen. I love your show man disappointed, you know the Clippers. I think that's the last time we see Kawhi Leonard this year, and I'm good with that. They should start a mere Coffee like in Game one and let the other guys handle it because it's it's it's not gonna work out. He even said it right now in the press in the postgame presser. You know, if he was gonna play, it's going to

be limited. So I think we've seen the last of Kawhi Leonard. Here here's my question, Gilbert. Can they win this series without him? Yeah? Absolutely, I think they can. I love a mere Coffee's energy, Russell off the bread off the bench, you got merman, Palace, got a step up, you got a good game today, And yeah, I think we can. I think we can do it. You know, I think Russell Westbrook's uh, you know, the lot when you got a key up for that against what's his name. I think that was the message to

send men's team, you know, and I like it. I think we uh, I think we have the next game hashtag fire Lawrence Frank, I'm out. Yeah, great, dismount there. I was gonna say, appreciate the phone call. Look, I don't know realistically if they can win this series without Kawhi Leonard. I thought they could compete. I think it's possible. I think it's a lot to ask, especially down two games to one. Now, that's what concerns me. They're in this whole. They need

a victory coming up in Game four on Sunday badly. Jose and Downey can't go down three games to one, right Jose, No, you can't, and honestly you can't. You're I gotta say they're not serious about winning if you're not giving the ball to Zoo as much as you can down there,

Like you said, he could have gone way more minutes. But even like to go back to Game two when they win up what like six points with like seven minutes left in the fourth, you could have mugged up the game by giving Zoo the ball under there and it's still kid has still hasn't shown that he has somebody to answer Zoo under the basket like that. It frustrates me to no end, Jose, I've been talking about it all season long, really for years. They forget about Zoo. They don't get him involved

enough. There's an easier way to win ball games, and it's scoring paint points with the Vita Zoo bots. I want to say, in the first half of this game, the advantage in points in the paint was drastic. It was thirty two to fourteen Dallas with a ton of lobs in there, and I viatsa zubats all right, how do you keep him out for seven minutes? For Mason Plumbley did? Did he ask to stay out that long? It was baffling to me. Yeah, yeah. And then and you're

right, the shooting was fifty percent. Uh the first game was gonna be uh it. Obviously they weren't gonna stick to that. It wasn't gonna be fifty percent. No. I mean, if you can at least give you the average of you know, what they were averaging, what was it like, thirty eight thirty nine percent, you have a good chance of that. But I mean, if you're gonna play Kawhi when he's not right, you're not gonna be able to rotate. Well, you're not gonna be able to

generate the shots that you usually would would when he's out there healthy. So at this point, might as well just sit him out. I mean, at least I feel like some of those fouls were they were rotating late. I mean, I'm not saying that they were making up for Kawhi, but if you can't, if he's not that mobile, you're gonna be making up for him, You're gonna get to uh rotate late or over. Well. Oh, look, defensively, they've been good with Kawhi, that's not the

problem. On offense, they've been bad. But I'm not just gonna put it on Kawhi and make that the excuse. Oh, Kawhi's back has thrown them off. They don't have the chemistry, they don't have the same flow. What does that have to do with Paul George picking up all those fouls? What does that have to do with that that's on he got He picked up too many fouls. He picked up too many fous the third game of this. Yeah, I appreciate the phone call Jose, I do. We

just got a lot of calls. I want to make sure to get to everybody. Henry and Garden Grove. Henry, you're on Clippers sock without a Mausland Adam. Look, I've been a Clippers fans who the Gemmy Manning Ken Norman days. I'm so frustrated with you know, Terrence man A Mere Coffee has these wide open three pointers and they keeps freaking missing. I don't get it why these guys are I'm not I'm not starting a game talking about Terrence

Mann and a Mere Coffee. When Paul George and Kawhi Leonard combined for sixteen points. Oh yeah, that that that's also look at I guess can we start with the stars. And I don't even want to start with Kawhi because I know he's playing hurt. No, I don't know why to talk about Kwai. Kwai is playing with one with one with one leg, Dude, he should be on the bench. PG drives to the hole and he does his crazy stuff where he tries to pass his ball. He has open shotsing

doesn't take them. It's frustrates stay on him. I don't get what's going on with his mind is playoff peak. I don't know what's going on. I just don't get it. Oh look, I thought overall he was good the first two games, twenty two points, probably not enough, could have been more aggressive in game two when he only took fourteen shots, he made seven of them. Everybody else was struggling, and he started off hot and did not stay aggressive tonight. The foul trouble clearly took him out of this

one. Clippers lose one oh one to ninety in Dallas in game three, Game four coming up on Sunday, Kawhi Leonard post game say he's trying to help the team. He wants to play in game four. Has it looked right? If you want to talk about whether or not he should be playing right now, we can do that. Eight seven seven five two zero eleven fifty. I'm at h Am Moslin and you're listening to the Patriot AM eleven fifty. Back to more of the NBA playoffs on the LA Clippers Audio network.

Clippers getting friend zoned in Big d They lose one o one to ninety in Dallas to the Mavericks. I'm at a Moslin. You're listening to the Patriot AM fifty eight seven seven five two zero eleven fifty eight seven seven five to zero eleven fifty. If we have time a lot of calls here, we'll get to coach lou. But I

saw this from Kawhi Leonard. This was my fear all along. He said his need did not respond the way he wanted it to after the first game. He's confident it will come around. That was the big question mark. You played for the first time in almost say month. How is it going to react? Is the swelling gonna subside? Is it going to increase? He didn't look good out there. He looked worse than he did Tuesday night. I know, Clipper Nation, I'm with you, Uh, Harold,

Oh, Harold in North Hollywood, Harold, what's up? You're on clipperstock with a am Ausland and a nice talking to you. You know, I really think they should shut down Kawhy for the season. Wait, the guy who says they shouldn't load manage them? Now now you want him shut down? I thought you guys you want him to play through all these injuries all the time, Harold, I never said that. Really, we'll go go on. What do you think the solution is to winning this series? Oh,

there's no solution. They look so miscongobulated on offense tonight. I couldn't tell what they were running and Dallas didn't play that well either. I mean Harden had it off night. I mean Westbrook, my bruin. He's not helping the team. He looks like he's out of control. I don't think who's doing that good at job of coaching this team. All right, Harold, I appreciate the phone call. I mean it tracks that Harold would call in tonight. Hasn't called in a month. Clippers are down two to one,

scores ninety points in Dallas. Yeah, def Con three At this point, I don't know Marvin in downtown Los Angeles. Now I know Marvin still believes that this team can win the series with out Kawhi. Leonard, Marvin, am I misquoting you? Hell no, we talked about it. Have a big believe I even mentioned it that it would have been best to kept Kawhi out of the first round. But nonetheless, it is what it is.

But the evidence was in the first game, even without they were able to win the game because they played more of a team they have, Marvin, Is that what it was? Or did they just go fifty percent on three pointers which isn't sustainable, because that's what I saw in game one. They hit eighteen threes. They hit eighteen threes. Yes, was it great process or just hot shooting? It was? It was both a little bit of both. Also, Dallas didn't show up in game one, and I

appreciate the phone call. We're short on time, but as soon as Jason Kidd got to the podium after Game one, he called him out for their lack of physicality. Since then, Dallas has been bullying the Clippers. They've been the tougher team. They've been in attack mode. And Daniel Gafford woke up early in this one. I didn't think they could win the series if he didn't get back to playing the way he had been since the trade deadline.

First two games, he was miserable, got banged up, got injured, left both contests back in Dallas. This is what happens role players. Their confidence returns. Maxi Cliba hit a big three pointer late in this one, but we all thought, oh, they're gonna go small again. They're gonna run things with Maxi Kliba, And I think this hot start by Daniel Gafford through the Clippers for a little bit of a loop because their big men showed up. He and Derek Lively in this one. Uh, Javier Lbrights,

Xavier, what's up here on Clippers? Sock? Hey, what's up? I having called in a while. But you know what, it's the same, same, same thing. You know, It's happened the last couple of years. And I told you this a couple of years ago, and you had a Noah Eagle. I said, Man, the Slippers they gotta win the next couple of years, and and every time the playoffs starts, Cowhi is always something with that guy. And at this point he has to play. I mean, you're right, they cannot win without him. They

cannot win. What can they win with him playing like this though, is the question? But I mean he's your superstar, Adam. I mean you're gonna go, well, look, they're not gonna they're gonna they may get out of the first round without him. Maybe they're not gonna win a championship. They're not a contender without Kawhi Leonard, so sooner or later he has to play for them to reach their ceiling right correct at this point, then you then then we could do this, just rest them for game four.

They're gonna be down three to one, resting for a couple of days and bring them back game five. I mean, if that's maybe that will work. I mean, that's the only thing, because it's not working the last two games. So maybe a rest in game four, get him back at home and let him play him my game five, and then maybe he's back. But at this point, I mean, and you're right, you got it feat Zubach, I mean, what is title doing. You gotta Seebach

that this is a bad habit. I appreciate the phone call, hobby Er, it is good to hear from you. Hopefully we do it again on Sunday, but it's a bad habit built up over years of Eata zubats getting lost in the shuffle, and now when he's most effective and you need him most, you're reverting back to just forgetting about him, over and over again. Seven minutes with Mason Plumley on the floor. I'm wondering if Coach lou was asked about that post game. We'll hear from him next Quick time out.

Clippers lose one on one to ninety in Dallas in Game three. They are down two games to one in this best of seven first round series. I'm out of Mousland and you're listening to the Patriot AM eleven fifty streaming Clippers basketball the first round of the NBA Playoff. Continue to back to more NBA Playoff basketball right here on the LA Clippers Audio Network. Clippers lose in Game three, one on one to ninety in Dallas to the Mavericks. Kawhi is

not healthy, Paul George can't stay out of foul trouble. Russell Westbrook was out of control. This team has to find themselves. They can't go down three games to one. Not impossible to come back from that. They do have coach lou He's done it in the NBA Finals before. But it's gonna be very difficult against the Dallas team that's playing much better defense. As I tried to tell everyone before the series, maybe you don't want Dallas, maybe

you want the Pelicans. Nobody listens to me more as an Inglewood. What's up? You're on? Clippers? Hock he gives who I saw on TV twice. I saw on TV twice tonight, Carlos, Steve Javi, Steve Javiy. You know what you don't see Steve Javiy in the eighty two game. I ain't seen that brother for eighty two game. I get into the playoffs. I saw him twice in one game. What am I trying to say? They getting physical? Man? This game is getting really physical.

Ruscott all upset. He got upset because if they gave him some money to throw the basketball and Yoshan, he couldn't find the ocean. That's what he was upset about. Now, Sunday, Adam, look at don't get too though, don't get too crazy. Sunday is game four. Sunday is game four. When Sunday we're back. Yeah, I'm not with lady Adam. It's game four. They win, Sunday, we're back on park. In terms of Kawhii planning and not playing, I'm gonna have to leave that up

to the coach in the medical staff. And do they have enough to be Dallas without them? I believe they do because they show us they got some depth. Now I'm gonna get some credit to that coach from the Who's coaching damas Now that the Jason kid Dallas was ready. They came out. They were physical. It's a it's a different some of the presidents complaining about how they call him the game differently in the playoffs. It's always like this in

the playoffs. Man, they don't they let you play in the playoffs like watching football players play. But on Sunday, I'll tell you, on Sunday, all they got to do is win on Sunday. And with we get all this conversation, okay, and this plays the Kawhi leonars An gets a little bit bit on Sunday at them. Behave yourself, go get kicking another cast somebody to scared to death. I'll talk to you, lady Morrison long Beach. I appreciate the optimism. You're right you went on Sunday. It's

best out of three with two games possibly in Downtown LA. Not possibly, it will be at Crypto dot com Arena. Can you win in seven again? Yeah? Problem is they had a healthy Kawhi Leonard in twenty twenty one. It took a forty five spot from him in game six just to get it to a game seven. And this Dallas team is better configured now for

the playoffs. They're tougher. They may not have as much shooting. But when you have two high end players stars, two of the toughest shot makers in NBA history, and Luca and Kyrie Irving who hit that diculous three fall into his left, you got enough offense. You got just enough. You can't lose a game where Luka Doncic goes seven to twenty five. Though this is the one. If the Clippers lose this series, it's gonna feel like this is when it got away from him. But if you don't have Kawhi

Leonard healthy, you're just not going that far anyways. This team, though, they are deep enough. I agree with that with Moore's long beach to at least be competitive and make it interesting because defensively they've been spectacular. The problem is Dallas has been even better on that end. So how about playing through Big Zoo. You talk about path of least resistance all the time when it comes to getting out of the West. What about just winning a ball

game? If heatsa zu Bots, he's your high efficiency guy. His points come at the basket. Nobody's been better from five to nine feet. He was better than Jokic in that area this season. Maybe get him more than eleven shots in Game four. I'm gonna post a graphic I made from the old Keishawn Johnson book. Just give me the damn ball for Fetza Zoo Bots. That's what we're going with for Game four. If Paul George is gonna get in a foul trouble like this, make Big Zoo the number one option.

Clippers lose one, O one to ninety in Dallas the Mavericks. Game four coming up on Sunday, twelve thirty, Tip eleven thirty pre game.
